I hope they make a new Shovel Knight game. They have expressed before they wanted to make Shovel Knight into a Mario-esque franchise. It would be interesting to see a Shovel Knight RPG or racer, something like that.

I'm travelling tomorrow so probably some WarioWare Gold on the 3DS.

@roboshort I agree that it will be a success regardless, but it will still be interesting to see how much of a success it is.

Very interested to see how Astral Chain performs. Brand new IPs are a definite risk for developers. Some, like Splatoon, are great successes, whilst others, like ARMS, are popular with a smaller community not the majority. It will be interesting to see which category Astral Chain falls into!

I don't travel with the Switch much anyway, but if I do, I have a large portable charger. Extra battery power in the console itself would be nice, but it's a luxury - not a necessity.

People aren't spending much on it because in my experience, you have no need to. I'm on level 96 with over 100 diamonds because of free gifts!

I'm most surprised that Forza Horizon 3 is back in the top 20, not 4. I always considered 3 the better game, but I didn't know if that was the general opinion.

Don't play Resident Evil, but the European one truly is the best out of those three.

Not really sure this weekend. I've recently got back into Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu, so maybe some of that in preparation of Sword and Shield. Other than that, I'll just make it up as I go along.

@Grumblevolcano If you got FIFA in a bundle and sold it straight away I don't know if that counts as having bought it. I can't see the attraction in football at all, real or in a video game.

I feel like I'm the only British/European who hasn't ever bought FIFA...

@aaronsullivan 2021 definitely seems the most likely bet - if there are revisions or new models ever 2 years or so, Nintendo's hopes of a 7 to 10 year life cycle start to look more likely.

@koaeinferno To be fair, lots of people say Fire Emblem Three Houses looks awful, but they agree it's still a great game. Graphics aren't everything.

@Filth_Element To be fair, so will I. I'm desperately trying to concince myself not to get a Lite because I play mostly docked, but that turquoise is so tempting.

I don't see the need for a PRO version for a few years yet - at least not until PS5 and the next XBOX have released. A Switch upgrade would be swept under the rug by two new more powerful machines. 2021 onwards is when I'd expect a PRO.

@Michael_Knight I enjoy collecring the spirits and to be fair, I'm nor bad with Cloud or Link. I know Link's a hero, but is Cloud a hero or a villain? I haven't played Final Fantasy.

I'm looking forward to this equally as much as Sword and Shield. I really enjoyed the original and the movie. Hope this series really becomes a big hit so there can be more games in the future!

I really hope this is the start of them bringing back physical rewards, maybe not to the extent of Club Nintendo, but people are more likely to spend points on these posters than 20% discounts on Wii U games.

I really hope this takes off! The Chinese video game market to my knowledge is just fakes and pirated games, with mobile games as well. If a big games producer like Nintendo can take off there, they'll have majorative market share until everyone else follows. This could be huge!

I'll tune into this. I usually do anyway, but more Luigi's Mansion 3 and Link's Awakening (maybe M&S Tokyo 2020 as well) can't be a bad thing.

Do this for Fire Emblem please! I need to play it before making my final decision.

This could easily be one of their top 3 consoles (home and handheld), especially if the 7 year life-cycle and new iterations come to fruition. Great to see the Switch doing so well!

Looks good! I don't have the Switch version, but I have the Wii U original. I hope this does well enough to justify a sequel somewheee down the line! Thinking about it now, this game was always well-suited to VR!
