I just finished Persona 5 Strikers this morning, and I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time. Going to start a new file and do more of the side quests this time around to unlock New Game +, so I can play it again! I love this game!
I bought Joker, Banjo and Steve. I might buy Sora at some point, but for me it wouldn't have been worth buying both Fighter's Passes, as I wasn't hugely interested in the other characters and don't play Smash that frequently
My day one neon red/blue Switch is still fine, and I have a Lite for portable play, so I have no reason to get an OLED unless one kf the two others break one day, but if I do ever get one, I'd like to go for the white one
My copy of Dread arrives on Tuesday, and I'm going away a week after that, so I'm saving Metroid for the flight. This weekend, I'm playing Animal Crossing New Horizons again!
I will never understand leaking a game less than a week before launch. The leaker posts anonymously, so it's not like they get "internet fame", and they just end up ruining surprises for everyone who hasn't played the game yet.
I've got Joker and Banjo, so I'll be happy whatever, but one character people don't seem to consider much is an E.M.M.I from Metroid Dread. You could change its colour during a match and it would, for example, become faster, or more powerful, not to mention that the Smash presentation is 3 days before Dread releases!
@WoomyNNYes I didn't know about either of those two areas eing good for coin farming before, and honestly I do enjoy Balloon World as well - I'll definitely look at those two areas now though, thanks!
@Anti-Matter No, not anymore - I've become a lot busier recently, so don't have enough time to dedicate to moderating. I'm still going to try and remain active in the comments sections, though!
Well, I managed to get the reward for collecting all the Power Moons in Super Mario Odyssey, so now I'm farming coins in Luigi's Balloon World to get the last outfits I need. This is going to be the first game I ever 100% complete!
Other than that, I might play Splatoon 2 and maybe a few other Switch games here and there - I haven't played Persona 5 Strikers in a while, so now might be a good time to get back into it!
I've never had the chance to properly experience N64 games outside of Super Mario 64 and the OoT/MM 3DS remakes, so I'm looking forward to trying all these games and seeing just how far series like Mario Golf, Tennis and hopefully Super Smash Bros have come over the years!
I plan to play Super Mario Odyssey - I'm into the final 100 moons and need to find the last few purple coins as well. Other than that, I'm hoping to find time for some more Splatoon 2
I played Splatoon 2 for the first time in ages yesterday, and had forgotten how fun it was. I'll definitely be playing more in the build-up to Splatoon 3
The physical copy of the book seemingly hasn't released in the UK yet, but I intend to get it as soon as it does. For me personally, the Iwata years were some of Nintendo's best, the company seemed approachable and friendly which by the sounds of it was a result of Iwata's interest in people and happiness, which truly shone through during his time as president.
@MarcusIsCool You said, and I quote: "you really think they’d go to E3 to announce 2 games???"
I'm not saying the Switch Pro won't get announced, assuming it exists. I'm just bored of the comments after every announcement for a Nintendo event stating that this means the Switch Pro is definitely coming. I'm going into this event expecting new game reveals and if a new Switch is there as well, great! If it isn't, then I won't be disappointed because there has been nothing concrete to suggest a Switch Pro even exists
I prefer this to what happened last year. Spreading small announcements out over months just led to me not caring. Having one or two big events in a month is much more interesting
I've been looking to get back into Ring Fit for a while, so with Easter coming up I thought this weekend would be the best time to try it again. I'm also hoping to play some New Horizons and if I get the time, I'd love to go back to Paper Mario: The Origami King. I got to the desert section, felt it was dragging and just put it down, so I'm hoping to push through that section and move on!
@JaxonH Thanks for that response, hearing that makes me want to give the demo another go. Can you choose who you play with online in the demo as if you're available, I'd love to see how you play
I tried the MH Rise demo, but it just didn't click with me, so I'll be playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, possibly Breath of the Wild Master Mode and maybe some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
Got Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Super Mario 3D All Stars yesterday, so I'll be making my way through Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy for the first time. Also got an eShop gift card, so I might buy Joker in Smash. I'm also spending some time with the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. Edition!
Switch and Series X here! I agree that Sony has some exceptional exclusives, but they don't overly interest me, so I'm likely to use the Switch for exclusives and the Series X for multiplats and the odd Xbox exclusive!
Congratulations Nintendo Life! It's been great seeing the site itself and the YouTube channel continue to grow in recent years and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to help you out a bit as a moderator! I can't wait to watch the site continue to grow!
Loved Hyrule Warriors, can't wait for Age of Calamity, but never really got into FE Warriors, so while I like the style, I enjoy it more with characters and locations I recognise.
@NintendoArchive But the article asks for user's opinions on Nintendo's worst year, which for me personally (and seemingly plenty of others too) was 2015.
@NintendoArchive Out of the games you listed, Splatoon is the only one I really cared about. Not really a Xenoblade or Monster Hunter fan, Mario Maker never grabbed me and neither did Majora's Mask 3D. I'm not saying these games were bad, just that they didn't interest me personally.

@moodycat What performance issues? I've had none in my 40 hours so far on Switch Lite?

Re: Metroid Dread Footage Has Leaked Online Ahead Of Next Week's Launch
@Ryu_Niiyama Put that way, you can definitely see why it happens, but I still see it as incredibly selfish and unnecessary

@munstahunta To announce new games for the existing Switch perhaps?
