@Tendogamerxxx Let's not disrespect other people's opinions please. It is not "backwards" or "OCD" to want to own something physical for your purchase. While it's more conveniant to have digital copies, physical cartridges are often cheaper, which is a benefit for some people.

Can you please refrain from calling users, such as @Anti-Matter trolls please? Users like Anti-Matter, from my experience, have no intention of being seen as a "troll". I can understand you don't like these types of games at all, but that doesn't mean other people can't. Myself and seemingly many other people on this site enjoy the games. If you had phrased your original comment differently, you might not have received as much negative backlash.

I just want to reiterate my first sentence. I am not on anyone's side and I don't want it to seem as if I am.

A few years ago I bought A Link Between Worlds for 3DS and couldn't get into it but a few days ago I deleted my save data and started again and now I'm addicted.

If Link's Awakening is anywhere near as good as this, I'll be playing that for a long time. I might even need to put Animal Crossing Switch down for a bit!

@ChrisB I hope so. But even then, by the time Super Mario Run launched on Android, the interest in the game had died and less people downloaded on Android than if it had been a simultaneous release.

If this is true, Android players wouldn't ever get to play the game so they'd limit the amount of potential users. This isn't a good idea.

@Anti-Matter I wouldn't class myself as a smartphone gamer either (almost all my time playing games is spent on consoles, usually Switch), but there is fun to be had in some of Nintendo's offerings. Even after all this time, I'm still going back to Super Mario Run and even Pokémon GO.

I hope AC Switch uses amiibo cards like New Leaf does. One of my favourite residents left my town, so I used his amiibo card to brkmg him back permanently, and I want him to come to my lovely new HD town this year!

@Hunt3r_Cr0wl3y Even if it is similar to Pilotwings Resort, add a new island or two (ideally a large city island with a proper airport), maybe a few new activities and more missions and it would be a great game!
