Some of the footage includes versions of old mini games for more than 4 players.
Edit: looking at more footage, it seems that the 5th player is a cpu from a special space on the board, and the winner gets to keep them as a parter, a la Super Mario Party.

I mean, you also have to fall through darkness for 15 seconds straight with noticeable frame rate dips. Pretty sure some loading is going on there.

Can confirm, spent 215 hours playing all Fe3H routes- 2nd favourite game ever, can never play it again due to burnout.

Trying to clear Gold stakes… got all the way to the final boss with a Polychrome Stencil build before the final blind ended up being “Disables a random joker”- not ideal for a deck whose entire gimmick is only having one joker.

@SpeedRunRocks Game development takes time. Toby has been very open about what’s happening behind the scenes, including causes of delays, which I think is much better than silence, even if it can feel like teasing at times.

I gave the PS5 version a 7/10- a fun look at New Caledonian culture with mechanics clearly inspired by BOTW, Wind Waker and Mario Odyssey, but somewhat shallow feeling.

@SuperRetroArt I think it’s a good feature for newer players. If you don’t like grinding then just… don’t.
Also, I’m not sure the series has ever been consistent on that front. In the recent Three Houses, you can only do a limited number of extra battles on hard mode, whereas in the early Gaiden, you can grind infinitely.

The old carts were enormous, so you’d see them in the machine. You don’t see the mini cartridges, so I’m not sure what the point would be.

Hey old people, I first played it as a teenager in 2017, and it was the first Zelda I played.

JP might not have Mario, but the composition is a lot better.

Echoing the sentiments above, FE Engage is my GOTY. Yes, the writing is weak, but it has the best gameplay in the series by a landslide (though as a game as a whole, I like 3H better).
My favourite games that released years ago but I only just got round to playing are Outer Wilds, Inscryption, The House in Fata Morgana, Persona 5 (an all time top 10) and Persona 3 (but oddly, I didn’t get along with Persona 4).

Played the PS5 version; absolute masterpiece.
