@Savage_Joe You can still get things like that, with platinum points. You get platinum points from just doing random stuff (logging onto the website, playing games, etc), and can use them to buy random stuff. You get gold points from buying games and use them to buy games.

Also, I’d argue most casual people would prefer to use it on discounted games

This isn’t really about the design of the eShop itself, and it’s also highly unlikely they’ll ever change this, but it’d be great if they had some sort of built-in refund system like Steam does, instead of having to jump through a bunch of legal hoops to maybe get one

@dskatter @khululy Sorry for not being clear, the reader on my Switch broke. I have multiple SD cards, but my Switch won’t read them. The cost to fix it would be cheaper to just buy a new Switch, but I’ve been procrastinating.

@steely_pete I’d argue most people who are not non-binary people have hair. And faces. And all the other customizable features in the game. The only thing this game is missing that other games have is “are you a girl or boy”, a choice that usually makes no impact on your character’s appearance, other than restricting your choices in hairstyle…

I just don’t think they can pull it off again with another Bowser-kidnaps-Peach story and have it perform as well as the first one. Other people can want that, and I get it!
