Another week has passed, with lots of intriguing news and a certain thing still not appearing [yeah, let's forget about that for now - ed]. We're in that pre-E3 / Summer Game Fest period of leaks and rumours, so much fun for all!
This week's big news was confirmation of the date and time of Nintendo's E3 Direct, Nintendo is getting all cultural with plans for a Nintendo Gallery, Crysis Remastered Trilogy is coming to test our Switch batteries, and the original Super Mario Bros. film is getting an extended cut for some reason.
So there you have it! It's now time to unwind a little and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

In terms of TV play I'll likely fall back to MLB The Show 21 like every other weekend, and I'm also getting near the home stretch of my quest to clear every main Halo series campaign before Halo Infinite arrives; I'm about two-thirds through Halo 4, so I'm getting there!
On Switch I'm thinking of having a fresh run in Sid Meier's Civilisation VI; it's had loads of updates since I last played so I opted to reinstall it. I once had a science win as Japan, but now I want to do the same as Scotland, just because that's where I live and why not? If you haven't played Civ VI on Switch or any other platform you should definitely consider it - especially with the impressive 'Gathering Storm' DLC.

This week I've been playing Subnautica, and House In Fata Morgana, which is a real tonal shift, lemme tell you. One is about trying to escape a hostile-but-beautiful ocean planet, and the other one is about... well, I'll tell you when I've figured it out myself.
OH AND I completed Resident Evil 4!!!!

Tragedy! Loss! Despair! This weekend will sadly be mostly spent reconfiguring my OMEN laptop whose NVM Express storage decided to leave this realm with only 11 months under its belt. Losing my weapons of choice with E3 right around the corner is a less than ideal scenario so instead of playing tasty, backlog Switch video games I will sadly be restoring my laptop to its former glory.
Game of the week is Super Metroid. I have been streaming a casual playtrough of this 16-bit masterclass of game design to my local e-community. They were either Mega Drive owners or not born at all back in 1994, so I’m surprised most are actually seeing the game for the first time in their lives.

Hi folks! Hope you're all well. This weekend, I'm going to be diving back into Splatoon 2; it's been a minute since I last played it properly, so it'll be nice to just check in, see what's what, and maybe it will even get me hyped for the upcoming Splatoon 3!
Otherwise, I've not got a lot else on my plate right now. In terms of other platforms, I've recently started another run of all the Halo campaigns; I've done Reach, and I'm coming up to the end of Combat Evolved. Have a good one, all!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

The House in Fata Morgana, although i am not sure if play is the right word. So far, it is a great read though!
Picked up Kaze and the Wild Masks and looking forward to a light-hearted nostalgia trip (Jazz Jackrabbit, anyone?) to lighten my mood inbetween grim sessions of The Last of Us Part II. Happy gaming to all!
Nier automata (ps4/ps5) - bought it last year with a local store summer sale and finally got around to playing it. It’s great so far.
The bureau: xcom declassified (ps3) - paused it for now as I liked it but didn’t love it.
Hades (NS) - beat this game the week I bought it, currently trying to get the true true ending by doing all god bonds.
Super princess peach (DS) - did a big haul yesterday and SPP was part of it, wanted to play this since it came out.
Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster
My physical copy of World's End Club arrived last night so I'm getting stuck into that now and will be mainly playing that over the weekend. I've also been playing a bit of Atelier Firis but I'll get back to that next week now. Just got back into One Step From Eden over the last few days too so I'll probably do a few more runs of that here and there.
Finally escaped my rut when Ryza 2 held her hand outstretched and pulled me out of it, couldn't be happier after being in such a lull for what felt like forever
Persona 5 Strikers and Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. Just finished Persona 5 Royal not long ago, and SMT V is releasing in November. This year is Atlus heaven for me.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town when I can reclaim it from my daughter.. Phoenix Wrght: Ace Attorney here and there, some R-Type Final 2 and a little Ring Fit Advemture.
Ghost of Tsushima on my PS4, Data East Collection on my Evercade and a few games on my N64
Been dragged into Yakuza Kiwami, except every time I want to advance the plot I get sidetracked by visiting restaurants, seeing hostesses and collecting cards with the occasional street beat down.
I’m away this week so will be taking my switch and will probably carry on my playthrough of Dark Souls
Just Spiritfarer for me this weekend. Such a chill and delightful indie.
DAAAAAAAAH...!!!
I played these games for this weekend. 😀
1. Imagine Party Babyz Wii
2. Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party Wii
3. Rabbids Go Home Wii
4. Yokai Watch 3 Tempura 3DS
I have accumulated more than 90 hours gameplay for Yokai Watch 3 Tempura, already reached rank S, my 3 Yokai have reached level 60+, still working on searching random items with Cleaner gadget.
Splatoon 2 and maybe finish of that course in mario maker 2 I started 10 months ago.
Monster hunter rise. Just hit 200hrs at hr5
Love this game.
Trying to 100% Age of Calamity. God those Musou games are repetitive. Sometimes I feel I play those as a punishment or duty just because I’m a huge Zelda fan.
Thoroughly enjoying subnautica - about 30 hours in. Really impressed by this port. Also working my way through the heat levels in Hades, amazing game!
Enjoy the weekend guys!
I'll be playing some Bomber Crew, this weekend
Despite holding most of this fortnite's gaming funds close for a while (in case something delicious might go on sale around E3 only to regain the full price right before my wallet's next opportunity), I do plan to pull the trigger on and try a couple titles like Caveblazers and Zombie Hill Race, and in the latter's domain I've also been doing some Gravity Rider Zero lately, too. This week has seen me finally finishing Bloodroots (which shall now take its rightful place in my pantheon of "Amazing Game, but NEVER AGAIN😵"), and I've resumed Mugsters in hope that I might finish all of its islands soon, too. Planning more Terraria, and its gameplay has unsurprisingly inspired me to do more stuff in Dragon Quest Builders as well. And speaking of builders, Portia is also on the table - as are a good few other Switch ambitions like Resident Evil, NFS, The Outer Worlds, A Little Lily Princess (and potentially more Monster Prom while at it), Layers of Fear 2 and Void Terrarium.
Outside Switchland, mostly Namco x Capcom this weekend, but potentially also more Ace Attorney, Monster Monpiece and Etrian Odyssey, too.
My daily mario kart races
Age of Calamity
Super Mario 3d All Stars
Can't forget to play Ocarina of Time
I just finished Final Fantasy IX a little bit ago as well as Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory yesterday, so I'm trying to decide what to go to next. Thinking Giga Wrecker Alt. and/or Terraria on the Switch side of things to give myself a bit of a break before E3 and any potential big shadowdrops.
Outside of the Switch, Melody of Memory got me feeling nostalgic, so I booted up Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on the GBA after ordering a new copy to replace my childhood one I lost. I have a love/hate relationship with the series, but CoM's been a lot of fun to revisit so far! Other than that, I want to try to get through at least Ratchet & Clank 2 before Rift Apart releases next week, but I'll likely have to stick more to handheld systems this weekend, so I don't know how much time I'll be able to dedicate to that.
Final Fantasy VII and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier for me. Been meaning to finish Walking Dead for ages having done the first couple of seasons ages ago. Final Fantasy VII has been on my to-do list for a couple of decades as I chose N64 over PS1 in the 90s (game purchases were funded by a paper route for me back then, so multiple consoles were very much not a choice) and the recent addition of the remake to PS+ was the perfect excuse to finally give it a go.
jumping between yakuza 0 and spiderman on the ps5 after being shoved into self-isolation for the week, only a couple of more days to go.
might get in some mario 3d world as well i've been wanting to go back to that for a while now
After finished Doom 3 (main campaign) and Ori and the Will of Wisp last week, this weekend I will play American Fugitive to fullfill my craving for GTA top down style.
On pc side, I'll play trail of azure (there is fan translation out recently) before play Traill of Cold Steel 3
Still playing King of Seas and absolutely loving it. Ah har me hearties!
Shin megami tensei iii remastered & monster hunter rise v3.0 2great games for a wonderful weekend.
I’m replaying Super Mario Odyssey again, according to my account profile it says I’ve played it for over 410 hours now! I’m about 50% done collecting the extra moon rock moons and then it will be time to grind Luigi’s Balloon World so I can buy all the stupidly expensive costumes. 🙄
Once I’m done, it will be onto Game Builder Garage!
Same as last week. Okami HD (now over halfway through), and more Arcade 1ups (had a blast playing NBA JAM Tournament Edition with my wife last night). Itll probably be similar to this until Mario Golf Super Rush comes out this month. Hopefully it's good, because I want to leave all of my time open for that game.
I bought a few games in the sale.
Crysis - brilliant fun and one of the most impressive Switch games I've played.
Hotshot Racing - I've only played a few races but it looks good and plays like a classic arcade racer, so it's been a good buy. Currently 50% off on Eshop.
American Fugitive - far better than the 5/10 it was awarded on here. It's an overhead GTA clone with good graphics and a really fun open world to play around in. It's a little rough in places but for the price I picked it up for - under 2 quid - it's an absolute bargain.
Phoenix Wright Trilogy - haven't played it yet. I've been curious about trying a Visual Novel game, Famicom Detective Club intrigues me but I'm not sure it's a genre I'll like. PW seems like a good place to start as I know it has more gameplay than a traditional VN.
I've done the impossible and completed my Switch backlog! I won't have any new experiences on there until Ys 9, but in the meantime I plan on replaying Mario + Rabbids and Darksiders 2!
I also started Castlevania Order of Ecclesia on the bus ride home last night. I've heard it's basically the best one so this is exciting!
Monster Hunter Rise. Grinding to unlock the new quests at HR 100
Civ 6. I tend to play a game once every few months, absolutely love it and get hopelessly addicted, then by the time the game is over I'm ready to put it down for a while (especially as there is quite a bit of waiting between turns as it nears the end). Going for a culture victory this time. One day I'll get the expansion but for now I feel like there is enough complexity and stuff I still don't fully understand that the base game is more than enough.
Other than that, some Slay the Spire (on ipad) and Aeon's End (rl card game in solo mode). And sunshine, bike ride with the kids, diy.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (with offspring as P2). After seeing it miss the 3D All Stars ports, and offspring asking to play SMG1 again, I decided to get it a copy on eBay, which arrived yesterday.
Finally completed The World Ends with You -Final Remix- yesterday.
Now for ROBOTICS;NOTES ELITE!
Switch - Starting Dragon Quest XI!
PS4 - GTA Online with friends and also starting Ghost of Tsushima!
PC - Minecraft Dungeons via Game Pass!
Have a good weekend everyone.
@GregamanX I loved Okami HD, I hope that you do also. It is such a good looking game with good mechanics and a great progression. Very few games I want to play again, that is one of them. Enjoy it!
Playing some Age of Calamity with a little bit of Cyber Shadow on the side. Maybe some Splatoon 2, if i have the time.
I finally rolled credits on Mario World, but I know there is more, such as Bowsers Fury. Already I would say it is in my top 3 Mario games.
Playing Shaun the Sheep with my daughters, they love it. So far it is a decent co op platformer.
Rocket League, Travel Mosaics, Need for Speed and I am almost at my 60th K.K. Slider concert on the island.
Happy gaming, everyone!
Astalon: Tears of the Earth, a great retro-style Metroidvania that released a couple of days ago. I don’t know if NL will review it, but it’s scoring great elsewhere.
Playing Rampart on the Super Nintendo. Just picked it up and never had it as a kid. It’s a great strategy game and I’m enjoying it quite a bit, both single player in the campaign and multiplayer with my daughter.
Darius Cozmic Revelation
I just started playing Super Metroid a few days ago too!
@FX102A have you played yakuza 0?
@darkswabber I'm going to order Super Princess Peach, can't believe I haven't tried it yet.
Persona 5 Royal, I'd put that down and I have friends pushing me to try Strikers.
Might get on Destiny 2 got some group activities.
I've been playing a fan translation of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, too.
Must be something in the water because gonna play super Metroid later! Xx
I've started Metroid Zero Mission on GBA, thought I preferred it to Fusion but have changed my mind.
Also playing Trine which is really good, love the music and the atmosphere in the game.
Super Metroid is my favorite game of all time. Masterclass doesn’t begin to describe this game.
Razion EX and the new R-Type Final 2 DLC.
Oh, and maybe some Hacha Mecha Fighter or however that ultra cute Cute'em Up from the Arcade Archives series was called.
Currently completely obsessed with Earth Defense Force: World Brothers. It’s SOOOOOOOOO fun. 🤘🏻
Currently challenging the advanced quests in Monster Hunter Rise. Title update 3.0 & Valstrax have taken over most of my evenings. Sitting at 105 gameplay hours - most I’ve put into a game in years
Happy gaming everyone !
I'll tell you what I'm NOT playing - a switch pro.
@dugan have you ever dipped into Okamiden?
@EmirParkreiner I've been waiting for Razion Ex to appear on the Eshop as I thought it was releasing in May. I can't find much information about it. I take it you ordered a physical copy?
I finished Outerworlds and restarted Slay the Spire. I beat Act 3 on only my third run and have not come close since.
I am also playing FF VI on my GBA. But that will take me forever since I only play on lunch breaks at work.
Still SMT III Nocturne for me, I’ve just completed the Diet Building so I don’t think I have many dungeons left.
I don’t want it to end, so hopefully a formal release date announcement for SMT V will be just the thing.
Wrapping up The Girl Who Stands Behind (already beat Missing Heir a couple weeks ago), and then probably starting Crash Bandicoot 4.
Bravely Default 2, Atelier Ryza 2 and Kentucky Rt Zero.
I've been alternating between Super Metroid (again) and Ori and the Will of the Wisps (again, too) because Metroidvanias....
Maybe one or two races of Hotshot Racing, who knows
@Donutsavant I’m nearing the end of my switch backlog. I am currently playing ‘This War of Mine’ which is the last game I have not reached the credit roll for.
Basically I am waiting for E3 to see what to spend my money on this year.
This week I will be mostly playing
Pokémon Black
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
I finally picked up a copy of New Pokemon Snap, so I'll definitely be playing that this weekend. Speaking of Pokemon, I'll also be playing Pokemon Go, for the Gible community day event.
Outside of the world of Pocket Monsters, I'll also be visiting my island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Not to mention throwing a party, in the form of Super Mario Party as well.
@Anti-Matter glad to see you back
Animal Crossing for sure. Will probably squeeze in a little Splatoon 2. May also play some Fire Emblem Three Houses. We'll see!
Beating up Foot Soldiers with the Turtles!
@OorWullie
Yes, i got my physical copy at the end of May. The second batch of physical copies will go on sale on the developer's website later today.
Razion EX is currently physical-only because the developer was disappointed with the digtal sales of Gunlord X.
@EmirParkreiner Cheers for that. I'm on the website now and seriously tempted to buy it when it goes live. I've never bought a video game this way before.
I eventually completed Donkey Kong Country 2. Well, defeated K.Rool that is. Only got about 4 DK coins. May have to go through getting all them at one point.
Started Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Loved the first game, currently enjoying this one. Played the first game on hard but this one one normal and it defo feels easier because of it. Will finish on normal and then complete a second play through on hard at one point.
Still can’t beat the Impossible Lair. May need to get the last 5 bees to help me out...!
World 7 (pipe world) in Super Mario Bros 3. Enjoying the game but think I prefer DKC2. Great game though.
Other than that I’ve been busy buying more games on sales like Okami so my backlog is getting much bigger. Also, started Overcooked All You Can Eat with the Mrs but that came to a quick abrupt halt when she injured the thumb.
I finally got gamepass! There's a few games on there that I've been wanting to play, but not wanting to put money towards them. But there's also a few that I've been wanting to play but not having enough money for them. I have about 20 downloaded now, looking forward to playing them!
Getting close to finishing fire emblem. So mostly just that. Maybe some NBA jam on my arcade 1up too.
More Subnautica for me - I haven’t been this hooked on a game in a while, exploring, crafting and avoiding the electric death krakens.
Kiddos are still enjoying Miitopia and ACNH and it’s always fun to see their creations.
It’s awfully nice sunmer weather here this weekend, though, and my yard is threatening to go feral, so I may feel too guilty to game much. 😅
Romancing Saga 3 and FFXII, looks like I'm going to have a great time.
@OorWullie Enjoy Phoenix Wright! That series is so special.
If you like the investigation parts, absolutely check out Famicom Detective Club someday. If you don’t, stay far away, ha.
Same (happy) compulsions as the past few weekends: Forager and Tetris Effect.
Switch: The World Ends With You: Final Remix - Just moved onto Day 5. Gonna have to see what happens to Neku and Shiki next, after a shocking Day 4....
3DS: Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - Hoping to wrap up Act 4 over the next few days. Close to completing Celica's side.
Mobile: Pokemon Go - Gible Community Day is tomorrow. Gible is one of my favorite Pokemon, so you BET I'm gonna catch as many as I can!
Happy gaming!
Animal Crossing New Horizon and Splatoon 2. Might jump on Pokemon Shield to get a shiny Politeod. I'm back playing Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Very chill game. Just go around and do what I want.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Wonder Boy - Asha in Monster World
Battle Axe
@charlieonholiday congratulations!!!!!!! It's a nice feeling!!
High five for financial restraint! Lol
I want to get back into Octopath Traveler. I have finished chapter 1 for each character, but need to level up some of the characters before going on to chapter 2. I also need to try to remember the map and how the systems work.
I'll be playing some super metroid.
Just picked up Blasphemous on a sale so I am looking very forward to that.
Capcom arcade games and gonna try to get in Monster Hunter Rise.
FF VII, Fez, Bloodstaind, NBA 2K21, Tetris 99, also just picked up Streets of Rage 4 because why not add to the back catalog.
In CIV6, it was a proud moment for me when I converted Vatican City to the religion of Santa Claus 🙏
-Breath of the wild, the world is still beautiful after all these years
-Kingdom Hearts 3, first playthrough, me n daughter love seeing all the disney characters
-Maneater, going to try this out for some silly fun
In ACNH, Redd brought this week my last missing artwork, so my museum is finally complete. Also, I got the last DIY from Celeste. So I will give my jungle island the finishing touch and upload the dream adress. After that there's only two things left for me:: getting two or three more "jungle-y" villagers and completing the Nook Miles challenges. When I have enough of designing I will return to AC IV Black flag or Ace Attorney Trilogy.
Doodle God (Windows Phone) - Never tried one of these games before, I enjoy it so far.
Battleship (Windows Phone) - Also enjoying this, used to play the board game loads when I was young.
Lines: The Game (Windows Phone) - This is also getting playtime here and there.
Rocket League - I've been very close to reaching diamond rank.
Edit: 2 hours later... I finally reached diamond! holy crap. ...And I got destroyed, and sent back to plat 3 after four games. Well, that was short. XD
Still been busy with school and work so I couldn't play much again this week. I did make a little progress in Doom Eternal and I also started Castlevania Bloodlines from the Castlevania anniversary collection. Honestly those Castlevania games are perfect to play in short bursts!
Outside of that I've also revisited Bayonetta 2 and did like two levels. I'm thinking I should hold off on progressing and get back to it once Bayonetta 3 is announced.
I've been alternating between New Pokemon Snap, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition on my XBox. I'm loving New Snap more than I thought I would (though there's way, WAY too much dialogue in the beginning)
I might not be able to get around to anything but I still have yet to finish Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. (PS2)
Earth Defense Force World Brothers. It's big, loud, stupid, and a whole lot of straightforward fun without all the hoops many games make you jump through. Buy it.
@Krambo42 Cheers. I think I'm going to start it tonight.
I'm playing the fool.
@Oswinner I had to get every single bee in Impossible Lair and it still took me dozens of attempts to get it. I absolutely loved that game but that stage is ridiculous
more Monster Hunter Rise for me, i nearly ready to fight Crisom Glow Valtrax.
Trying to finish Katana Zero despite my lack of skill. I really want to see the story through though. I feel like I must be near the end. Also picked up Yoku's Island Express last night, looking forward to starting that tomorrow
So uh, no New Nintendo Switch announcement this week
Virtua Fighter and Shinobi on the Astro City Mini most likely!
I’ll be playing Xenoblade Chronicles DE more this weekend. I also want to possibly start SMT 3. I might hop on the pc to play some games as well, just depends if I get too busy with everything else.
Slogging through Contact on the DS, a big disappointment, and skipping joyfully through Astro's Playroom on the PS5.
@LordVal I'm waiting for my collector's edition to arrive to play it... Can't wait.
I have accumulated more than 90 hours gameplay for Yokai Watch 3 Tempura, already reached rank S, my 3 Yokai have reached level 60+
@Anti-Matter This is the veritable pursuit of éliteness. May you continue to inspire others.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps for me after picking it up on the sale. One of those games I can't stop playing but I don't want to end!
SMT Nocturne Remaster all weekend for me!
SMT III Nocturne HD Remaster. Still grinding and fusing around Ikebukuro. About to take down the next Fiend.
I just left Gondolia in Dragon Quest XI (the stuff with Jasper was really good). So, this weekend I'm gonna focus on the Octagonia storyline. I might also play some Atelier Ryza 2 when I get the chance. Can't wait for E3 to have some more games to look forward to!
Gun-Nac and Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War.
I started out with Star Ocean: First Departure R and now playing Bomberman R Online. I'll get back to Ys Origins soon.
@Tailesque in germany it arrived yesterday. G-Darius HD looks outstanding, but doesn't run smooth at all time. Still the fairest compilation imo.
@JBone
You wouldn’t beelieve it but I’ve only gone and done it tonight. 28th attempt and with 43 bees. I had zero bees left for final showdown and I managed it. Lost Laylee on the escape but managed to pull through...!
What a game. Unbeelievable 10/10!
I recently bought a PS3 for pennies and have been playing Red Dead Redemption. For Switch, it's Wingspan.
Being a huge Dragon Quest fan, I was ashamed I hadn't played 11 yet, so I just picked it up for the Switch. It is soooo good.
Also playing:
Dragon Quest 6 - DS
Horizon Zero Dawn - PS4
With all of this talk of Super Metroid, I might have to do my yearly replay of it. Such an amazing game.
Continuing my work on Atelier Ryza 2, and hopefully starting The Girl Who Stands Behind, SMT3 Nocturne, and also maybe Uncharted 3
Dragon Quest (Thank you Jon), Battle front Elite Squadron on DS, Pacman99 and Pokemon Go for Gible Community day
I've been playing tons of Rocket League like always. I've also been enjoying Lonely Mountains Downhill on my laptop. It is so satisfying to play that game at 144fps and with zero loadtimes. I can't wait for a Nintendo console that has SSD storage, as well as great power to display stuff very smoothly. I'm also enjoying getting farther and farther into New Pokemon Snap. I've also been putting time into old favorites Kingdom New Lands (and Two Crowns) and Super Mario Maker 2 (there are so many awesome levels out there).
Snowrunner. Who knew driving a truck around through mud could be so much fun
@Donutsavant No, I haven't. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I suppose I would have to find it somewhere, then break out my 3DS (which I haven't played in more than 6 months). But it looks very cool, and I am interested. Have you played it? what are your thoughts about it?
The minish cap. It's just one of those games that I needed to play.
@NintendoByNature Nice to see another Arcade 1up owner. NBA Jam is probably my favourite cabinet I own. Which game on the cabinet do you like best? I'm partial to Hangtime myself, but Tournament Edition is awesome too. The original is also good. No bad titles on that cabinet, that's for sure.
I finally finished all 5373800380 levels on Death Squared! Maybe there weren't that many, but it kind of felt like it what with the complete lack of variety in locations and music. My favorite parts of the game were SPOILERS ALERT! The bug that makes it nearly impossible to finish the second-to-last level, and also the fact that finally finishing every level earns you exactly nothing. Oh well, the story mode kind of made up for a lot of the bad parts of the game. Now here I go on to... anything that's not that game.
I know today is Tomodach life's 7th (maybe, i suck at math) so i'm playing that.
@Bionictarantula can back me up on that..
@GregamanX yea its a great time. Honestly, I wanted tmnt more, but I haven't seen one out in the wild in forever. NBA jam was my second choice but I still love it. Hang time is definitely the best of the bunch having grown up playing all 3, it's not like I am partial to one over the other due to nostalgia. Hang time just feels and looks better. The other two are good, though. I'd still grab a rampage cab or any others if I found them on sale.
@NintendoByNature Actually, there are leaks this e3 that Arcade 1up is rereleasing the tmnt cabinet, but it will feature turtles in time as the side art instead of the original arcade game. So you still most likely have a chance of grabbing it. Rampage was also released on the new Midway Legacy cabinet, but it's not the marquee title and it's only 2 player. I havent even played my NBA Jam online yet, but if you ever send a request, I'll try to respond.
@dugan I own it,but I have not busted it open yet. I guess I am looking for a reason to do so.
I also assumed that it would be expensive and rare, but it's not too difficult to get your hands on a copy. Though again I won't couch for it's quality!
@GregamanX awesome news about tmnt. Hope it's true. I've never played online yet either but I'd totally be down. If you figure out how to do it, let me know and I'll definitely play a game with ya
Sunday night and forgot to do this...I spent most of my weekend doing challenge levels in Superhot. I also started to work on some other flower hybrids in Animal Crossing now that I've made blue roses. Played some Doom Eternal too of course.
