Update: 4th Oct 2019 - GAME currently have stock again, get in there quickly!
If you've got your eye on The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening's lovely Limited Edition - or even if you're only hearing about it for the very first time - you've certainly come to the right place.
We've gathered together the various bundles of the Limited Edition from a variety of retailers below, plus we've answered some questions you might have about the available editions (scroll to the bottom for those).
We'll make sure to update this article with any new deals we come across, so make sure to bookmark this page and check back if you're waiting for a particular store or if your favourite sells out of copies.

What's included in the Link's Awakening Limited Edition set in Europe?
The European special release includes a physical copy of the game, a 120-page artbook, a Game Boy-themed steelbook case, and a lovely box to put it all in. The North American version is different, though.
What's included in the Link's Awakening Limited Edition set in North America?
Technically, the North American version isn't the 'Limited Edition' - it's the 'Dreamer's Edition' and it includes the game and the artbook (but not the Game Boy steelbook).
And what about the Japanese Link's Awakening Artbook set?
As the name suggests, this includes the game and the artbook (identical to the American Dreamer's Edition, then, except in Japanese).
What's the deal with that Rupee Lamp on Nintendo's Official UK Store?
For an extra £5 you can get a natty Blue or Red Rupee Lamp included in your bundle that retails for £11.99 on its own. It's the same lamp that was available as a pre-order bonus for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, although the green one isn't included. If you're really keen on it, you can get the game and the lamp sans the other Limited Edition gear for £54.99.
Are you hoping to pick up this special bundle? Chuck a comment our way if you decide to go with any of the deals featured.

All of out stock. Lovely
£80 is ludacris
It looks cute. 😀
But i think i will consider the Standard edition.
I rarely buy special editions anymore but in this case I did preorder, mainly because I really like the artstlye for this Zelda and I would probably really enjoy the artbook.
@Xelha Sorry to hear it's tough on your pursestrings. I love my Switch and all the great games on it, but wow, it really consumes a lot of time and money with the consistent quality coming out on it, something I don't think I've seen in decades. Hope you find a way to get that special edition if you want it.
Out of stock on all those links already. Wasn’t worth putting them in was it 😂
NL late to the party and all links are out of stock..
All out of stock and ShopTo page not found (Affiliate Links are pointless if there is no stock)
Why hasn't the Official Nintendo UK store not have them yet?? It's just weird
This post is just major click bait for no reason other than to annoy people
Edit (26 June) : got one from Amazon UK when it came up
All out of stock on all sites, grrrr!
Has anyone actually secured a pre-order on any of these sites?
one of those ones I would be all over but none left in stock bit of a pointless article really!
So everywhere was out of stock before the article went up and orders aren't live on amazon or the Official Store. So are the above links just placeholders then or did anyone actually get a preorder in?
Not on Amazon or Nintendo's own store. Odd.
Did NLife really forget to check that stock was available before posting this, or are we expected to believe that all 4 sites sold out in 5 mins?
Tempted with the special edition but agree with Steel76. I never ever look through an Art book more then once. My compromise is that I pre ordered the amiibo. Has a use in game and looks a lot better on the shelf with a collection. £80 is way to much as well. If the base game is likely gonna be £40 at a lot of places
It was live last week. I got my preorder in. Really looking forward to this game and the collectors edition looks awesome
I will pre-order it on my next pay check.
@Folkloner game and smyths have been sold out for days
Aaaaaaand 90% will probably be going up on eBay - there's loads there already for anywhere between £120 - £200. B*$/*#^$!
@Stocksy
365games was also out of stock before this article went live.
Actually, I was keeping an eye on that page when it was listed as "More information", and had signed up for availability notification emails but never received one. Next time I checked the page it was already out of stock.
This situation is just awful, I just wanna pre-order a game with nice stuff added in, Link's Awakening is my favourite Zelda title.
Well these shops had pre-orders up about a week ago so no wonder they are sold out. £70 though is a bit steep when you can get the game for £39.95 from Simplygames.
I would love the book though but I will buy another game instead.
@Xelha
Too many good games is a great problem, yeah? I make it a point to finish my games or take my time with them at least so that I have justification to get more and not have a huge backlog, but it's harder to do as the hits keep coming...
Out
Of
Stock
I need to add more
@Steel76 Same here. I used to be the one who wanted the most special edition of every game. But even back then I rarely looked to the artbooks or listened to the soundtrack cd:s. All that stuff just ended up being inside the cardboard box they all came in. Now I only have a couple of special editions left. The normal game with the normal box is enough for me, most times even digital download is fine.
I got mine preordering it in an actual physical store, escaping from work and running like a mad man on the streets, because that store's website opened the preorders at 8 something am without any warning. I have my reservation, but after that there have been several online stores opening the preorders and going out of stock in a matter of SECONDS.
There's a lot of people rightfully angry, and a lot of people too listing this edition at a scalper's price, of course.
Why Nintendo doesn't come clear about the number of units, schedules a global release with date and time, and establishes a little control over these things? The answer: they don't care as long as the money comes. Doesn't matter if 10 units are bought by the same person.
About the price of the collector's editions, I agree with you, people. I don't end up using the extra stuff, ever, but I still want some of these editions, I can't help it. In this case it's a little overpriced. For 80 it should have included a CD. But the thing is Nintendo's going full price with the standard edition, so in the end it's only relatively overpriced.
it always seems to be pot luck with any pre order. I didnt have any idea when this would go up but saw id missed it. then seeing this article made me think oooh there are some more preorders live to only see everything is sold out. Hopefully amazon will get some and maybe I will grab it
They were sold out before posting....that is a FACT.
I would buy this one if it came with a history of the game like Hyrule Historia rather than an art book.
The only special edition I bought (not including the ones that come with a season pass) is Twilight Princess HD that came with the soundtrack and wolf link amiibo. Best purchase ever.
Pre-ordered from Smyths like a week ago, early bird and all that.
I'd rather the soundtrack with this one because it's sounding incredible.
@LuciferOnReddit
The US is getting a different collector's edition set.
@Severian Couldn't agree more. I ended up buying a lot of games for my 3DS, but I never really bypassed the 10-game barrier with systems like ps2, ps3, ps4, wii, gamecube and so on.
It was always buy a game or two, sell them when done to buy new games - but with large droughts in-between it wasn't really a problem.
Now I not only have a ton of money compared to then so I don't really sell my games again, but I spend at least... Idk, €60 monthly on Switch games?
Heck, many months it's so much more than that. This month I've already bought Cadence of Hyrule and Lapis x Labyrinth, as well as pre-ordered the following:
1. The Witcher 3
2. Astral chain
3. Animal crossing
4. Pokemon sword
5. Spyro Trilogy
6. Trials of Mana
Had already preordered Fire Emblem's limited edition a while ago, so that's why that isn't on there. Knew I'd want the game already.
Would say my wallet is hurting, but it isn't really... It's feeling the blaze of the credit card "swiping" though.
Too many games, too little time. But I buy them all anyway so I thereby force myself to eventually play them. It's worked so far at least.
@Blizzia
I really do believe the Switch could stand the test of time because literally if all my favorite classics from the NES, SNES, N64, GCN, and Wii era all make it here plus the portables (and even classics from Neo Geo or PC Engine and PC games like Planescape Torment), this could seriously be a system I would just buy upgrades for and keep everything on it from old classics to new ones.
Of course, Nintendo will probably innovate again and impress us to keep supporting them, and of course, I will be lining up to do that too!
Ordered this the day after the Direct at a Dutch retailer. My second limited edition from Nintendo. I also bought the 3ds limited release of Majora’s Mask.
Darn. I've been looking everywhere to get one, and I knew they were all sold out last week by the time I started looking.
Darn you NL, I thought there was more in stock and was excited 😪
Probably all of them got sold to scalpers and will go for $1000+ on eBay. I'm also convinced Nintendo only made one set per country this time around.
I ordered mine from ShopTo a week ago. Was £70 then upped to £80 after I ordered mine. Then went down again to £70 and now seems to have gone up again. Either way, Gold Membership plus some credit came to £60 for me.
Hearing that people were pre-ordering this last week and that Nintendo Life only published this article today, makes me pretty angry honestly.
What an absolute marketing failure.
@Xelha 2019 has been horrible and boring on Switch so far....but come June 28th/25th and beyond it's an overwhelming wonderland of literally games EVERY WEEK that I want. Like it's gonna feel even crazy crazier than 2017 in how excited I'll be to drive and pick up a game again. But Jan to end of June has been painfully dull. They reallllllly can't do that again IMO.
Surprised to see such issues going on with stock. The day after E3 it was revealed as an EB Games exclusive in Australia and has all the same goodies as the Europe version. Pre-orders went live immediately and it's still available now. Of course that means they can charge a $30 premium on the standard game with no competition but I'm still getting it for my birthday!
It's just a little bit shameless of you to post this when the links were all already out of stock. You knew it would generate clicks, even though no one had a chance of catching it before they were out of stock. Shame on you Nintendo Life.
I'm curious why Nintendo only does the good collectors editions in Europe and not the US. It doesn't make too much sense in an era when Square is putting up a >$300 LE preorder for FFVIIR.
Still no sign of the limited edition anywhere in Denmark, and I've been looking since it was announced.. I need that Steelbook..
Was really interested at first but the price is just too high. At least with Super Mario Maker you get a capacitive stylus and NSO subscription and it still works out cheaper. Looks like people will buy it anyway which is fair enough I guess.
It's sold out everywhere! I've pre-ordered the game with Amazon but I think £50.00 is a little steep. Still might get a small refund, they do this sometimes. Oh and I've pre-ordered the Amiibo, I'm just waiting to see if they'll do a guide book too! (I know Prima won't but Piggyback might...)
Looks good, if we were getting that in the US I would have pre-ordered already. Sadly we are getting a far more half-hearted attempt at a limited edition so I am simply not interested.
I think everywhere should receive this collectors edition and not just Europe
I managed to get the last pre order for the the limited edition in store at game this morning
@ChilledLadmcr I had preordered it in my local store on Friday.
GAME.co.uk didn't even have it up then.
@NEStalgia Octopath Traveler had a great US limited edition but it was released stateside by Nintendo rather than SE I think.
Since I consider this a smaller game, I want it digital but MAN do I wanna import this version...
Up on GameStop DE. (Germany)
Edit: and it is gone...
Year, got it on Gamestop. There is also Astral Chain Collector Edition popping up on E-Shops
These went live for preorder last week! Not this week. Sold out everywhere within hours!
Anyone get theirs?
Omg why have I just found out now 😭
This article is a few days late I'm afraid. Sold out almost instantly.
@MarkyG Grabbed from Smyths for £65.
@Folkloner none of stores had any pre-order stock attached to them. They well always out of stock.
The pages are just there ready for when they are old how much stock they will be receiving at which point pre-orders will be opened.
@Dethmunk yep, but they won't have pre-orders yet. They just take your money then grab the game as soon as they can.
Another example of put "limited" on something and the rats come running.
Just ordered the Limited Edition from Amazon UK
Holy Crap, YES!!! Got it from Amazon UK
Chucked the Amiibo with it too. (Even though I don't like the art style need it for the collection)
If you search "Links Awakening" the Limited edition is the eighth one down, man I would of thought they would have stuck it right at the top the scarcity of it
Perfect timing on checking here. Just nabbed my pre-order with Amazon before the lunchtime rush!
Got the Amazon pre-order
Thank you NintendoLife - just got my Amazon pre-order in! I was on their email alerts because I saw the placeholder was up but you guys were quicker than they were in letting me know!
It's in stock at Amazon UK
Got mine Thanks for the heads up.
Got it orderd!!
Very happy with it
Thanks, got it preordered from Amazon UK!
Delighted to get the preorder in, thanks a mill for the heads up, guys!
Just secured my pre-order on Amazon! Thanks Nintendolife! I was gutted when I missed it on ShopTo, but on Amazon is £10 cheaper. When I saw that you put your update almost an hour ago I thought I missed it, but luckily it's still in stock. Maybe most people are waking up now like me loool
I've placed my pre-order through Amazon UK, thank goodness they were still accepting them an hour after the article!
I did manage to get a pre-order in a GAME UK store locally, but I'm not 100% faithful in it due to them saying they weren't supposed to do it.
If I do end up with two limited editions though, I know exactly what to do with the spare.
Got mine pre ordered, thanks for this
Since when did Amazon start charging before dispatch. Charged me instantly so I cancelled. Cant afford to pay for it this month
The fact that it's STILL available would suggest it isn't particularly limited. Would love to know how many units were made (or will be made).
Been waiting for this. Just mine in at Amazon. Sweet as Nintendolife👍🏿
No question that I will be buying this game. Looking forward to it. But I very very rarely buy special editions. The only one I bought for the Switch to date was Xenoblade 2.
Well I knew I kept that £20 Amazon voucher for a reason! The Limited edition of this was too hard to pass up, and my finger might have slipped and bought the amiibo too... oopsy! 😍
@Kidfunkadelic83 the listing says pay on dispatch. I just preordered using a gift voucher (it took that off the price) but assume it won’t charge me until sept 20th
Sold out on Amazon now, I'm pleased that I have pre-ordered the Amiibo.
@CairiB mine took it out instantly and put me in to an unarranged overdraft as Ive got my other card linked to it. As soon as I clicked order I got a txt from my bank 😂😂
It finally showed up in denmark, but now I have to go through their tedious process of price matching.. They want €120 for it! That's just crazy..
@Kidfunkadelic83 😬 yikes!!! I will be keeping an eye on it then, they aren’t supposed to take payment unless it’s a third party seller. I certainly can’t afford to be paying for it right now either.
Price can be subjective, and value sometimes comes down to what you are willing to pay for something. To some people value for money is the difference between getting or passing up on something. Also 'Limited Edition' can be more of a marketing ploy than a real collectors investment.
£25 ($31) More than 50% extra for a book and a few bits that were at one time found as give-a-ways on Nintendo magazines does not tick many boxes, and certainly not the value for money box.
It's merchandising at its best and most merchandise relies on catching the subject at the moment of sale.
@CairiB something that was brought in last month apparently
i guess maybe its cause i'm in the US, but the amazon link too me a bunch of other stuff.
never knew that a hylian shield mug existed before now...
as expected, now the amazon listing is also out of stock. it lasted les than a day
@Timsworld2
You are aware that Nintendo Life is a UK-run site and that this Limited Edition is specific to Europe?
They have linked to Play-asia and other international online retailers when it's relevant to the product.
I've been lucky, where I place preorders for games (that can be cancelled without further ado), they just call everyone in chronological order asking if they want to update to a limited edition, until they reach the amount available to them. I used to work there myself, and I know that if I preorder within the first week or so, and a special edition DOES get released, I'll be given the option. If there isn't one, I can cancel the preorder and wait for a price drop or look for cheaper prices.
In this case, I really wanted it. I may not get collector's editions often anymore, but the original was my first game ever, my love for the Zelda series has only grown, I have nearly every game and special edition game and console in the entire series, including spin-offs, region exclusive Club Nintendo games,... And that steelbook is just gorgeous!
@Timsworld2 You're right, Nintendolife should only be available if you live in the UK. It would be very disappointing for a lot of people, but that way they could at least keep away certain Users who do nothing but insult people and spread hate at every opportunity.
Nintendo need to sort this mess out, they constantly do this whether it be the mini NES/SNES at launch, most Amiibo and now this. All this has done is fill Ebay with preorders (I'm sure that wasnt even allowed at some point but Ebay don't really care), some of whom have over 10 copies to sell. Nintendo should flood the market with them now and leave those stranded with multiple copies they don't even want, but also so that we the customers might actually be able to buy the things they want to sell to us
It's currently available in the Nintendo Store UK, as well as the amiibo!!
it looks like there is an edition with lamp included with it as well.
It is now available on the Nintendo website in the UK.
@LuciferOnReddit
They're available on Nintendo UK Store now.
https://store.nintendo.co.uk/games/nintendo-switch/the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening.list
Also managed to pick up the other rare Zelda Amiibo from the uk store. Finally i have the Skyward Sword amiibo
Woop woop woop, got a pre order!
Yes got mine, looks like the nintendo store will be instock for a while. Much like the FE box set.
Fingers crossed they stock the astral chain one soon.
Nintendo UK prohibits USA buyers...what crock....
Ordered, hopefully they'll be in stock a while to mess with the scalpers on ebay but more importantly so that everyone who wants one can get one
It looks like Nintendo UK Store's allocation of Limited Edition pre-orders is now sold out.
@Reverandjames
Everything is essentially Just “stuff” isn’t it?
I understand not buying these special editions, look at the price tag on the Final Fantasy 7 top deluxe package for example. It boils down to if you are a collector or not, me personally I used to collect things as a kid, but now a days it needs to be useful or provide entertainment value or I’m not interested.
it's a shame i never got the limited edition when they are available but i'm cool with the standard version, it's just a art book anyway so not much of a loss.
@RupeeClock
Try alza.co.uk 😉
@huyi
Try alza.co.uk 😉
Think i found some
alza.co.uk hurry 😘
@Dilated they say that but then again no one is there to certify your claim. Also least one forgets you don't have to be a collector to buy them.
@RAVEN-AK47 actually provide the url not some typed link.
@SwitchForce
Do you struggle to understand the website i provided, plus what being a collector has got to do with it mr ATTITUDE
@Reverandjames that's like saying "my husband doesn't let me go out much, it's been really good for me to catch up on my reading." lol
@RAVEN-AK47 lol thanks for the laugh. If one post they provide click link not doing so just says as much.
No thank you i guess you're just a mong 😆
Surely for that price you would get a fully functional Game Boy with Zelda, not just a steel book.
As usual, the NA special edition is trash. I don't really care for the GBA styled steelbook, I just want the black island box, and rupee light.
@Varazadi Which is why I'm importing mine from the UK.
Corbyn blimey, that Very website was torturous.
GO GO GO!
QUICKLY!!!
Thank you nintendo life
I don't really understand Very, does opening an account mean you have a credit account? So you have to make a monthly payment regardless to cover their insurance costs regardless of whether you take out credit with them or not? I'd use it if it was a straight up pre order but I don't want to sign up to any credit rubbish.
wow! got it! I didn't expect to get this limited edition!!!! does anyone know when payment is taken at very?
@ralphdibny
If you attempt to open an account, they'll assess you for credit purposes.
If you read down, I forget what it says precisely, but there is an option in the small print to just use your credit/debit card to make payment. You know, like other less irritating websites.
Very don't take payment, you have a few months to pay them usually.
@Franklin I'm glad I stopped short of signing up to read Ts and Cs, I don't want and unnecessary credit checks
I got the Very one, £10 cheaper than event Nintendo official site. Thanks guys!
@lemonjellydude Very don't make it obvious but they will take a one off card payment. You have to register, then avoid the big "sign up for credit and save money" buttons and look for the link to pay now with credit or debit card. Be warned though, they take the money immediately, not on dispatch. Ordered my copy at 12:30pm today. Says 100+ ordered in the last hour.
Looks like the Very stock is now out of stock.
Already grateful to have placed my pre-order via Amazon UK, and a potential back-up pre-order via a GAME retail store despite lack of online availability.
And also to not have to place an order via Very, which I don't trust.
@BustedUpBiker cheers,not ideal they take the money straight away but at least Im finally getting my hands on this!
The extra goodies are nice, but the game is too expensive for what is essentially a 3DS title on Switch.
I pre-ordered mine the day pre-orders first went on sale, in what feels like a long time ago already. I also have the new Link Amiibo pre-ordered as well. So I'm already set.
at the current amazon price of £50, £10 more for the special edition at very seems like a bargain to me!
and yet available on eBay for £100+ unsurprisingly
I Like the steelcase but I already own all 3 of the dark horse Zelda books I think that is enough artbooks for zelda game.
Just seen the limited edition available for pre order at Argos.co.uk
@Octillion Thank you I got one from Game today too
I really want this limited edition but I just can't afford it 😔 It's so expensive. Dang it.
already got it from very at £65 with P&P but glad argos are on board, hope this means others can get it!
I got mine preordered within the first week of e3
Get 7.5% corporate discount at Argos so thanks to whoever spotted this. Very happy to get one for £63.18.
I ordered the Dreamers Edition, I’m a sucker for art books
Just ordered this bad boy, using some nectar card points, I managed to pick it up for a very reasonable £54!
I would love to have the gameboy steel book. Only way to get it in the US is to spend 3x the cost on ebay.
For anyone who got the amazon preorder in, just noticed it’s dropped to £59.99 in my orders, which is nice. Must have price matched very at some point?
Do we think this bundle will be adjusted like the others @Nintendo.Co.uk to include the keyring and poster?
@CarpeDiem yeah, that’s weird, wonder why mine has dropped? Am sure they only have the one listing for it...
Nintendo have added another bundle, with a keychain and a poster.
This one doesn't interest me, but adding this option so late seems a bit off as most people who want a bundle have probably already preordered.
Might have to check for the steelbook at some point, since that's really what interests me. Really wish NOA gave us these beefier CE's more.
I checked just now, my Amazon pre-order has been reduced to £59.99, it used to to be £69.99!
@Elldot Me too, I just saw your comment.
Checked my Amazon pre-order, and yup it's now listed as £59.99 rather than £69.99.
That's a pretty great saving considering they're selling the standard edition for £49.99.
If its 59.99 as some are saying then yea i may go for that. The extra stuff isn't needed but for a a small price... why not..
I noticed that 365games had a brief restock of the Collector's edition, but theirs is currently priced at £89.99, which is far too expensive.
They had previously listed it for £79.99 as well.
How is that 365games increases their price to £89.99, whilst Amazon drops theirs to just £59.99?
Keeping in mind that 365games takes cash up front for pre-orders, whilst Amazon charges you on shipment.
@CarpeDiem No, no notice or anything, just checked on my open orders and it was there as £59.99. Others have said the same so not sure why yours is different. Maybe chat to amazon support about it online?
FYI the Nintendo UK Store restock includes the Limited Edition, or two separate bundles including a Red or Blue rupee lamp.
Is there any site that sells the European limited edition that ships internationally? (Besides playasia).
Too bad Nintendo UK doesn't ship internationally. I'm not paying over 200 dollars + shipping at playasia for this
I had a pre-order for the LE at Amazon, but decided to cancel that after just nailing the LE + Blue Rupee Lamp at Nintendo UK. Lucky timing to see this article!
I never saw it for sale in Germany. It was gone within minutes.
@infernogott
Try GAME's website, they appear to have pre-orders open and they ship internationally. As taken from the link in the article.
https://www.game.co.uk/en/the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-limited-edition-2388628
@RupeeClock Out of Stock sadly.
@infernogott
Oh, sorry, it looked like it was in-stock.
On GAME's website, it used to be that the purchase button would say "out of stock", instead of needing to click it to see that it's out of stock.
Edit: It also looks like the Nintendo UK Store is also fresh out of limited edition stock.
ugh, looks like its oos everywhere again
And it's gone again. Hope everyone trying to get the special edition, gets one in the end.
365games.co.uk is taking pre-orders for the Limited Edition again.
But it will cost £89.99, which is more expensive than other retailers...
https://www.365games.co.uk/nintendo-switch-games/the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-limited-edition-nintendo-switch-game
This will probably sell out quite quickly, it has been restocked on a few occasions on 365 Games the past couple of weeks.
@infernogott
It seems like Game.co.uk might have stock again? It's allowing me to put the Limited Edition in my basket.
@RupeeClock out of stock again
@infernogott
Well dang, sorry, it was in stock a couple hours ago. :
@RupeeClock Thanks for mentioning it, though. Wasn't online at that time sadly.
Still available at 365Games at the time of this posting.
never EVER use Very.co.uk for pre orders. I am now going to miss out on this limited edition as although I pre ordered nearly 2 months ago they are now telling me to its not in stock.......gutted
@CarpeDiem thats so nice! I did actually look at 365 games but £90 is very expensive. luckily I actually had another email to say its been dispatched! I have no idea what the customer service representative was talking about this morning saying it wasnt in stock...lets hope it arrives!
There is one copy on Amazon.fr now:
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07T4Q53ZL
Grab it for the few minutes its available guys!
However. I do think the European euro price is too high. The UK price is at 80 Euro and that is where it SHOULD be. Sadly I see almost no sellers at all having this price. Its 90-100 for most.
I luckily got one on Game.co.uk a hour ago. Guess I got a cancellation from someone because its sold out again. Costs me 85 Euro including shipping.
You guys got it good in the UK, the special edition is WAY more appealing than the lame dreamer edition. I don't think the dreamer edition is really worth going out of my way for, I would rather spend the extra money on the new amiibo.
I've had one limited edition delivered (from Argos) and it included the poster, but no key chain? Has anybody else had extras?
Wow, £125 at game. I feel like they should be reported to Nintendo for scalping. That's pretty gross.
@Old-Red Was thinking exactly the same
@Old-Red @Bunkerneath it's not Game selling it - Game do a marketplace type deal these days for games as well (like Amazon do), if you look it says the seller is "MohnyMedia" - that's your Scalper right there!
@xanderten50 Ah yeah, if you go to the bottom of the webpage it shows there are 5 different "sellers" all around this price.
@Old-Red They are the ones who should get our hate
At least the price isn't as outrageous as what Play-asia were charging.
£213 is absolutely not justifiable for this limited edition, and they were charging that before the launch date!
Really thankful that I was able to get a pre-order from both Amazon and GAME, the latter was a birthday gift for my brother.
@xanderten50 fair enough, the shop near me is selling it for £100 new and I thought that was too much. It's not even that great as a special edition, don't understand why people are going so mad for it.
@Old-Red I think because it's a 'Zelda' special edition - some people will be stashing them for when they're rare in a few years and then sell them on again!
@Old-Red it's certainly lacking a soundtrack that's for sure. All that glorious remastered music too. I've always said that every special edition should come with a soundtrack.
Go my limited edition copy on release date, couldn't be happier. But yeah, it should contain a soundtrack CD or something. The music in the game is glorious.
