Topic: LostWinds 2: how to finish palace battle? (SPOILERS)

I have the left and right fountains singing. I was returning to the central room, fighting off glorbs with gusts and, of course, I missed Enril's dialog. Very bad control scheme to have dialog dismissed by the same button you are using to defend yourself. I'm guessing that Enril was giving some sort of clue about what to do next. So now I'm stuck. I've tried making the king sing all over the central room (left, right, and center) but nothing happens. Would some kind person who has figured this out already please give me a clue about what I need to do next? Many thanks!

Enril simply says you should throw something at Riveren.

I've tried vortexing fruit and glorbs and throwing those at Riveren and nothing happened. It doesn't seem possible to throw the stuff Riveren is trying to throw at me back at Riveren because Riveren disappears immediately after letting go of it. I can't seem to pick the king very far off the ground and he's not affected by cyclones. So I give up. What do I have to throw at Riveren to bring an end to this? This has ceased to be fun. Thanks.

I found the answer somewhere else. I don't think I would ever have figured it out myself. Everything else in the game was perfectly reasonable (and fun).

I seem to be stuck in Lower Melodia City. I'm in a room with 2 of the teeter tooter platforms. There is a high ledge that I can not reach and area that looks like a plant should be there but there is none. Anyone else have suggestions on how to make it out of this section.

Sounds vaguely familiar. I think you need to burn a plant above to get a seed and carry it over there and plant it.
