I took a brief break from Snack World and played this for about an hour. First impressions are good, bordering on great. The fact is that the Switch library is loaded with cart racers, so to have a realistic-ish arcade racer like this is nice. But Forza Horizons this is not. The budget is much lower and so the overall quality here in Super Street Racer is much lower.
I think $40 is too much for what's on offer here. But if you're thirsty for an arcade racer and you see this go on deep discount ($15-$20), I think you'll get your money's worth. It reminds me of Midnight Club: Street Racer. I also get Demolition Derby vibes, the vehicle destructibility is surprising.

Difficult to say. I think it fares better than Redout or Xenon Racer. I haven't noticed severe stuttering or pop-in. But I don't presume to have the technical expertise of Digital Foundry to speak definitely on a game's framerate or framepacing.
