I don't know if anyone else had this problem in the training when you start the game, but I couldn't call in the care package for Lifelines ultimate. It would show the outline but just red, and I moved around until it was white to show that I could place it but even then nothing happened. I had to leave the game and enter into training again and that fixed the problem and I could place it. Just putting that out there in case anyone else is having a similar problem.
@pilot Hope this gets patched, this happened to me as well. I'm guessing this is a Switch specific bug. Decided to try PC version's training mode, and it didn't have the same problem there.
This was the only problem I had, I'm a Lifeline main, but haven't tried the care package on Switch in-game yet. Otherwise, the game plays like I expect it to.
Hey is anyone else having problems with the voice chat? When I was playing with my brother in the same house it was very on-off. Like on zoom when someone has bad WiFi. It may just be our WiFi but I'm wondering if this is happening to other people too.
As someone who enjoys Apex, it does disappoints me a little bit that the Switch launch coincided with the Ring's Fury Takeover LTM. Mostly because Switch players won't be able to experience the Olympus and Word's Edge maps until the event is over.
Personally, I like the other two maps a bit more than King's Canyon whenever they were in rotation on the PC version. Hopefully Switch players will experience them too, this is one of the few battle royale games I could think of with multiple maps.

@Niikuplays Which is a great thing, over time you'll be learning where loot is on the map and get to it quicker when you land. Will say, the other two maps are worth learning too once they become available.
World's Edge is really a nice looking map, Olympus is amazing. I feel bad Switch players have to wait until the LTM ends to learn and experience the other maps.

Apologies for double posting, but Respawn released an update to Apex on Switch that includes fixes. Though they don't go into specifics. Just thought it would be important to let others know.

Am absolutely loving Apex Legends, already sunk in many hours and had multiple wins (on crossplay). It does seem to be very difficult to find switch only games.
You do have a noticeable visual disadvantage, but it fits my playstyle to play more careful anyway. So it hasn't bugged me yet.
I'm a bit sad that they seem to go for blurry visuals nowadays, instead of a more pixelated but clear look when porting games that are a tad too heavy for switch, but Apex is very playable and fun. Overall I'd give it 7/10, ngl. What are you guys thoughts?
A proud Switch owner that's always working on the impossible mission of clearing his backlog.
@YusseiWarrior3000 I do. I play on both PC and Switch, started out playing on PC first. I play arenas mode more nowadays. More recently, I got myself the Lifeline Edition, which I also have on PC.
The game has crossplay, but no cross progression, so I decided just to get the Lifeline Edition on Switch too.

@YusseiWarrior3000 You're welcome. I'd say the Switch version is handy for the times I want to play in another room. It's nice to have alongside playing Apex on PC.
