Well I only have 10 games for my DSi so I'll make a top 10.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass 2. Metroid Prime Hunters 3. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars 4. Professor Layten and the Curious Village 5. New Super Mario Bros. 6. Pokémon Platinum 7. Korg DS-10 Synthesizer 8. Picross DS 9. Scribblenauts 10. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
About a quarter of those aren't exactly puzzle genre games...

Aw, who cares irken! Let's just put down games with any puzzle elements whatsoever in them. 0. Mighty Flip Champs! 1. N+ 2. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box 3. Metroid Prime Hunters 4. Trackmania 5. Scribblenauts 6. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga 7. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 8. Art Style PiCTOBiTS 9. Art Style precipice 10. Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! [the above are all in a completely random order]
I also think Prof Layton is a really cool game. But Scribblenauts kinda get boring after a day or two. Stupid Walmart wont lemme return it.
I respect your opinion, but find that comment a little strange. It suggests to me that the game simply wasn't for you in the first place. Perhaps puzzle games aren't in general (?)
Anyway, A FEW MORE POINTS:
I forgot to add Gravity DS to my list which can be frustrating when placing items but is an absolute gem of a puzzler. I took the placing of the items problem to be part of the challenge and managed to complete it and sell it on.
Oh, and Scrabble 2009 DS is decent-ish.
This is a DS retail puzzle thread btw
There is very, very little to choose btwn no. 6 and no. 25! Seriously, I got a lot of satisfaction out of the games.
