Only thing I require are save states or implemented save/continue features, as I already own Mega Collection.

I don't own the Mega Collection and since I still have yet to download any of the Sonic games on the VC this is just perfect for me.

There was a time when I would have been flipping out at this news, but when you own all of the games included on at least three other systems through other various collections, you kind of have to question if the game is worth picking up again...

Admittedly, I have never owned a portable version of any of the games, so I hate to admit that I will probably pick this up down the road. Still, SEGA had better make this a discount game even from the get go. There's just no sense in charging a full thirty dollars for this, when you can pick up the PS3/360 Genesis/Mega-Drive collection for the same amount and get all four of thess games (admittedly, sans lock on) with an additional 45 games to boot.

But can you get them on the go?

Really, just having the chance to play Sonic 3 and Knuckle in the car during a long road trip is good enough for me.
