I'm gonna take a guess and say that Dragon Quest XI is PS4 exclusive, as well as Dragon Quest Heroes II.

So excited about this. I'm not bothered what system it's on as I'll get them all eventually, but I would prefer a home console to a handheld. I just hope it eventually comes West.

Well, I just saw the banner for DQXI. And...
I'm already guessing it's only for the PS4. Part of me hopes that's not the case, but oh well. Besides, it's my brother who's hyped for Dragon Quest games. Personally, I never seem to get into the series...

The leaked logo is so small it would suit 3DS better.

Personally I'm only interested in DQVII getting a western release on cartridge.

While I really want this on WiiU.. (sorry gamepad for inventory management trumps anybody else period) however I'm getting this no matter what it comes out on or the language.

I'm guessing it'll be Japan exclusive for 3DS or PS4 exclusive worldwide.

keep my fingers crossed for the 3Ds or Wii U or Vita but ain't holding out hope. SE doesn't seem to care about westerners as much as Japan. I miss playing Dragon Quest 9. Might have to see if I can find a copy of it.

I wish it was multiplatform. That way it keeps everyone happy.

Dragon Quest XI is for PS4 and 3DS! Sadly, no Wii U version, but at least you can play it on a Nintendo system.

I wonder what that means in terms of the west, PS4 exclusive maybe.

This is a new singleplayer main entry into the series. I expect they'll bring this to the west on 3DS too.

Well, still a day one purchase! Wanted a big screen experience, but oh well again. XD

DQX and DQXI are coming to NX.

I'm intrested if it's gonna be closer to the 3DS or PS4 version but aside from assumptions I don't think it's been stated yet.

Was initially disappointed to hear it was going to be split between 3DS and PS4, but having seen the footage now I'm quite happy they're very different and shouldn't affect each other negatively.

We don't know how any of these games will turn out, but feels like SE are really back to where we want them to be with Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III and now Dragon Quest XI.

Well, I was right that it was PS4, right that it would be multiplat, but wrong on specific platforms (PS4/PSV/NX vs PS4/3DS/NX).

Still though, the 3DS version actually looks pretty sharp and I think... I want both? I'm happy to buy both. NX confirmation is also very interesting.
