Loved Little Nemo on NES. I’ll be looking out for this one!

If I can get the switch 2 packed with Mario kart I’ll do that. Not buying separately. Fzero GX is one I’m looking forward to. Now they are fixing the n64 controls I’ll have that to look forward to as well as a massive backlog

He’s not wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m not a real fan… I’m not even a fan. So he’s correct as I will not buy this game, even at 60.
At some point, all the real fans are going to buy it and then what? You’re going to have to market to people like me where you would have the opportunity to create a NEW real fan. I think his comment is just fine. I wish more businesses would be open and honest in their comments, even if it’s not something we want to hear.

I’ll consider buying one of the 14 different ultimate/expanded/final/directors cut/uncut/GOTY/limited/collectors editions that will come out for 9.99. Key word:”consider”. No promises.

It’s really inexcusable that Nintendo has gone this long without updating controls and/or control options. I shouldn’t have to find a guide online to remap the controls in system settings for every N64 game. Why would they think that punching or kicking with the right stick is a good idea. I understand that this will be fixed with the Switch 2…. But this should have been a feature for the Switch on day 1

I’ve never bought a GTA game for more than 20 bucks. GTA 6 will not be different for me.

I think that Bubsy is the best “mascot” game during the SNES years. Outside of Mario of course.

I feel bad for people losing their jobs… but these people now have the opportunity to not work for a greedy soulless company. I’d bet for many this will be a blessing in disguise.

This is one of those articles where I’m not convinced the author believes their own opinion. It is written solely to encourage discussion. I usually skip over them, but I’ll bite.

So… your argument is that since your character might defeat a strong enemy with a weak weapon, they shouldn’t be able to die from falling to their death?

In games where there is no fall damage, should we remove the possibility of death entirely?
If Mario can survive falling from a 100 story building, kind of silly that he can die from brushing up against a little goomba.

Removing the possibility of failure would also remove the incentive to play.

I’m thrilled we’re a getting GC on NSO. Especially Fzero GX.

Wind Waker is one of my favorite Zelda games. Maybe my favorite 3D Zelda game.

The HD version made traveling by boat way easier. That is one feature I will miss in the GC version.

Do we know if the remapping features will also come to Switch?

I’m very disappointed by this. I never thought this game would be good. But it was a lot of fun. I’ve never spent money on “season passes” until this game. I will never spend money on a game like this again. I look forward to this game model crashing and never coming back.

I’m hoping this means they’re bringing back the Wizards and Warriors series!

I think this shows that the people who decide these ratings aren’t paying attention.

Not many boomers played boomer shooters. Boomers were more likely to ban them than play them. But there’s a lot of booming going on in a boomer shooter. More action based and less cinematic than some modern shooters. Maybe Boomer Shooter took on a new meaning once the Great Zoomer Boomer war began.

The boomers tried to take away these types of games . But it’s fine to call it a boomer shooter. These games were all about the boom and the action. Then came the zoomer shooters which focused on cut scenes with sprinklings of action.

This guy needs to tell me to buy less. My backlog is getting out of control.

I will likely buy this day 1. However first impressions are that this looks very uncomfortable to play in hand held.

I won’t look! It would be a shocking amount of time spent on the switch.

I know I spent waaaay more time on Star Wars Hunters than I thought I would. That game really blew away expectations. Pretty fun!

If it’s like most all the other n64 online offerings, I will play it for 10 minutes and give up due to the pro controller settings. Yes I know I can remap the buttons. But I'm kind of dumb and slightly lazy and don’t feel like remapping for all these games. Would be nice if they remapped them for me.

Remastering a mediocre game for the same system? Not a free update? Trash .Putting playtonic on the no buy list with Qubic. And judging by their catalog it doesn’t look like I’m missing much.

I’ll never forget when I bought one of these nba 2k games for my kid. Had to go back and then buy a bigger memory card to play it from cartridge . I had always assumed you would only need the cartridge.

I wish Nintendo would fix the controls for the N64 games when not using a 64 controller.. really shouldn’t have to do google searches of how to make input changes for each game.

Wow. Whoever is giving the ratings is not paying attention to what they are rating. This game is appropriate for any age (based on content anyway).

I don’t know about GOTY discussion. But it is no doubt a really great game.

I think this is the first time I have not been excited for a new Nintendo console. I love the switch so much and I’m not ready to say goodbye. Unless it’s backwards compatible !

It’s a 10. I’m watching my kids and their friends play it for the first time and they are enthralled. The remaster is great. But if you deleted this game from history and was just released today it’s still a 10

I really like the service but I’d like to see them add TG16 and more SNES.

I picked up Demons Tilt while it was on sale and I’ve been playing the “hell” out of it

I must be Captain Oblivious. I’m a few hours in and am loving it as much as Golf Story. Haven’t had any issues on my end.

I downloaded sports story day one. Haven’t had any issues so far. It’s great. If you loved Golf Story then go for it.

Yes it’s my fault for not reading reviews. But Mario strikers is super disappointing. Definitely does not feel complete. For those who don’t play online, it’s a complete waste of money. Here’s hoping future updates add more single player options.

I’d guess Nintendo has a higher percentage of parents buying games for their kids than PlayStation and Xbox. They can get away with doing fewer discounts
