Re: Feature: Nintendo Life's Top Ten eShop Games From Switch's First Year

mowerdude

I don't own any eshop games on the Switch, as of right now. But I do own Shovel Knight on the Wii U, and Steamworld Dig 2 on Ps4 since it came with a Free copy for the PS Vita. I am holding out for a retail copy of Shovel Knight to come to Switch hopefully with all the extra DLC and if that doesn't happen I will eventually pickup the digital copy when it is on sale.

Re: Fear Returns As Outlast 2 Brings The Horror To Switch On 27th March

mowerdude

I have watched some playthroughs of Outlast and from what I have watched doesn't really interest me that much. Also The Outlast: Bundle of Terror is on sale right now on the xbox one in the deals with gold section for the US for only $6.25 and also Outlast 2 is also on sale there also for $15.00. So you can actually get both games cheaper on Xbox One for only $21.25. Where as if you want a portable version it is going to cost you around $55.00 for both on the Switch.

Re: Review: Outlast: Bundle Of Terror (Switch eShop)

If anyone is interested you can get this Outlast: Bundle of Terror bundle on sale right now on the xbox one in the deals with gold section for the US for only $6.25 and also Outlast 2 is also on sale there also for $15.00. So you can actually get both games cheaper than what just the Outlast: Bundle of Terror for the Switch cost.

Re: The Nintendo Switch News Channel Took Almost A Year To Create

mowerdude

I don't really care for the News channel. Also I don’t like the Switch’s UI it is just to bland / simple and cheap looking in my own opinion, compared to the Ps4, xbox one, and even the Wii U has a better looking UI compared to the Switch even though it might be a little slow. Hopefully they will redo the UI when they release the online.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

mowerdude

@Discostew Yeah it is odd that the ps4 version has a save file that is actually bigger than the game it's self. But Nintendo/Capcom messed it up for me, So I will be getting both MMLC & MMLC 2 on Ps4 instead since I can actually own the Physical Retail copy of both there. Instead of being forced to download MMLC 2 when the Switch doesn't really have that my space to download games on it.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

mowerdude

@faint I know that has nothing to do with the cart size. But they still forcing you to download the second game that is 4.96 gb on ps4 with a 7gb save file, that would still eat up alot of the Switch's memory around 12gb. It would be great if they did fit both of them on a single cart. I would have even taken them like how they released them for ps4 and xbox one at $19.99 each at retail, instead of MMLC on cart and forces you to download MMLC2 and it never coming out at retail for the Switch.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

mowerdude

@faint Yes I have a Switch and I know that the save files aren't on the carts. It is stupid that Nintendo will not let you put/copy your save files on to a Micro sd. Going by the ps4 it requires 7gb for the save file and the total size of both MMLC & MMLC2 on ps4 is 5.25gb that equal's out to around 12.25gb so if it is the same size on the Switch and you don't own a over priced Micro Sd Card it is going to take up a lot room from the 25.9gb of free space that can actually be used on the switch's internal memory.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

mowerdude

@faint What are you taking about MMLC & MMLC 2 both are 5.25gb and then MMLC 2 requires a 7GB minimum save size file. So that would equally out to around 12.25gb total so that is pretty big if you don't own and over priced Micro SD card. And then even if you did, the 7GB save file will have to be on the internal memory of the Switch. Because of Nintendo's messed up way going about save files.

Re: Review: Bayonetta 2 (Switch)

mowerdude

I would have purchased the Switch version if they had released Bayonetta 2 and it came with a Retail Version of Bayonetta in the same case like they did on the Wii U, instead of just a dumb digital download code. When the Switch doesn't really have alot of space to download full retail games to start with.

Re: A Hat In Time Developer Confirms The Time Travel Platformer Won't Leap Onto Switch

mowerdude

I will be getting this game on Ps4 when I catch it on sale, don't really see why they are getting so much backlash for not releasing it on the Switch. Also why is all these Nintendo Fanboy's begging for ports when all you here from them is that the switch has all these great games coming out this year, either get over it no coming out for the Switch or save up some money and purchase another console to play games that will not make their way over to the Switch. It's really that Simple.

Re: Nintendo Has Reportedly Delayed the Roll-Out of 64GB Switch Game Cartridges

mowerdude

I purchase retail games all the time unless they are digital only games, but I will not purchase these games that come out on the switch that require you to download over half the game on to the switch. I also refuse to purchase these over priced micro-sd card were 200gb micro sd is like $90 when I could just purchase a 2-3TB External Hard drive instead for the same price, Nintendo needs to patch the Switch so that you can use external hdd's with it and then maybe I would purchase more games digitally and wouldn't have to worry about if a retail game required a few gb's of download space.

Re: Nintendo Download: 21st December (North America)

mowerdude

Maybe Bloody Zombies just depends on the game size on the Switch, because I can get it right now on psn for only $8.99 and not have to waste what little switch space that comes with the switch think I have like 22gb's left. Plus I haven't really had my switch that long maybe a month and I still have zelda, mario kart 8 deluxe, and mario odyssey to bet first.

Re: Reggie on Backing Up Your Saves with the Switch

mowerdude

Hopefully, Nintendo will update the Switch so you can use a external Hard drives with the dock for game save and full game downloads and also retail games that require you download part of the games since it won't all fit of a single cart, that would be great for me since I don't plan on really taking my switch on the go. I hate that games like Doom and LA Noire require you to purchase a over Priced Micro SD card just to play them on the Switch when the dock has 3 usb ports on it.

Re: Nintendo is Reportedly Eager to See More Mature Games on the Switch

mowerdude

I don't really see a problem with this because the more games the better. Also these are the some of the games that I would like to see get brought over to the Switch.

Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption 2
Resident Evil 4 HD
Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection
Assassin's Creed Origins
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
Rise of The Tomb Raider
Batman Return To Arkham
Metal Gear Soild
Star Wars Battlefront II
A Way Out would be great on Switch

Re: Telltale Games Says We Can Expect Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman on Switch

mowerdude

That's good news for Switch only owners or people that like to double dip on the same games, but as for me I done own the First Batman Telltale series on Xbox One and will be skipping it. As for Guardians of The Galaxy no really interested in it but if they would bring over The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Series I would pickup both of them for the Switch.
