Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

@BinaryMessiah I just said if Valve copied Nintendo then Nintendo copied Vita and we can continue like this forever.
There are sometimes when tech companies really invent something new and then other companies copy them.
But in the case of OLED technology, nintendo can't get the credits of that tech.
Specially when we have hundred of mobiles and mobiles specialized in gamers that already have OLED.
Nintendo switch is good, they have done a good job, specially being nintendo and having those unique games on it.
But didn't invent anything new with this model, yes with the 3d technology, was the first to have something like that, even was not so funny to play.

@Rainz Steam Deck is way superior to Nintendo Switch as switch is superior to Vita.
The hardware is in another league and the games that it can play and the performance as well.
Not even Nintendo was the first company to create a handheld console, Game Boy as many people asserts.
So OLED screens are used in phones and gamers mobiles and in other consoles.
But when nintendo add an old technology to their hardware all the next hardware that includes that old technology is copying Nintendo?
Nah make no sense, only for a blind and funboy nintendo person.

@Rainz Oh no, Valve is not taking anything from Nintendo.
OLED is an old technology that nintendo didn't invent at all.
Valve is doing exactly as Nintendo did, upgrading their hardware to give to the users the best experience.
The handheld consoles are there since long time ago, and switch is not doing anything new, even the joy-cons are not anything wonderful and they are useless are bugged as hell.
So Valve is not copying anything from Switch, oh no.

@Anti-Matter
I know Surabaya what a beautiful place!
And i really understand your point, and many of my users comes from your country and a lot of hardware modding comes from there.
I want to keep clear i am not in the switch scene of modding don't get confused with my comments.
Phillipines is not so different of Indonesia talking about economics....
And mostly all of my environment can't afford a video console, the ones that do is a really big sacrifice if they are middle class.
So, buy a game is literally impossible unless you want to do a strictly diet of a cup of rice everyday, which is happening already without buying a video console.
I am sure you know what i am talking about.
So i empathize with that.

@Anti-Matter Well there are different points of view...
Just imagine that your salary is 100$ if you are lucky of course you can get also a normal salary of 50$ every month.
And the game costs 70$+ even in discount will be...40$.
Do you can afford to pay all your salary for a game?
You can reply:
-Is not my problem, which suggest that poor people can't play video games.
I understand the piracy is not good, but the balance between poor countries and rich countries is not good either.
The only solution is stop the distribution of gaming consoles to the poor countries, the rich people of those countries will know how to buy it online no worry.
Nothing is fully white or black there are always tonalities and i understand completely that one father of family getting 100$ per month can't afford those expensive games.
The solution: POOR COUNTRIES CAN'T PLAY VIDEO GAMES
