@Jiggies no. I love paper mario, but the battles were extremely annoying and time consuming. I hope they remove these unnecessary battle mechanics in future entries.
I really enjoyed this game back in the day. This isn't my fave Zelda game, but it was fun at the time. The sword mechanic got a bit frustrating so happy to hear that it has been improved. There was that one boss fight that really pissed me off on the original (Scervo). My copy ships on Friday which is fine since I am almost finished with Paper Mario Origami King.
I actually had this one pre-ordered and played it on release day and the following weekend. At that time, I felt that the battle system was exhausting and the graphics were more along the N64 era. I was very disappointed that this was nothing like TTYD and also even more disappointed that this was no longer an RPG. I recently picked this back up from my backlog to give a second chance and I am somewhat addicted. I still feel like the battle system is tiresome and wish this would have been the normal RPG from years past; however, I feel like once you get to Shogun Studios, the game is more enjoyable. The graphics look okay now that I am playing it primarily handheld on my new Switch Lite and I get that it is supposed to be origami style (no idea how I didn't think about that previously - but I enjoyed TTYD art style more). I really enjoy the humor and trying to find the toads hidden in each area is a fun distraction. I hear that the battle system is a bit more streamlined later in the game and that's really the only thing keeping me going. I love a good puzzle but these battles are ridiculous with this odd battle system. I feel like this game is probably around an 8/10 but I am going to wait until I finish the game before leaving a proper number rating. If you were like me and set this one to the side, I highly recommend sticking it out to Shogun Studios to see if you are enjoying the game by then.
Just an update, do NOT order from them. This is a complete joke. My order was supposed to be shipped by 11/4, then today I contacted them and they gave me the runaround. They stated they needed to contact their "suppliers" and that customer service could not assist me. I was told to contact them in 45 mins again, and when I just tried, the chat online is now "unavailable." Be careful with Zavvi as I am feeling like this is a scam. I am so pissed.
well, I am in for the varsity jacket Considering I got the game for free thanks to Amazon promo credits, I am STOKED to get this jacket too! For anyone in the USA, be sure to apply the code to the UK site — the promo code does not apply if shopping the US site.
I finished Link's Awakening on Monday, and I have been eagerly waiting for this to arrive — can't wait for tomorrow! This definitely looks like a 10 for me
I finally beat this last night and I enjoyed most of it, and was extremely aggravated with a couple of the dungeons — mainly the eagle dungeon! I would give this an 8 out of 10 mostly because of the constant frame drops. It was pretty disappointing upon starting the game to notice all the drops right off — made the game seem slugish during some locations.
Lordy, this game is absolutely beautiful; however, it is super challenging! I remapped the controls and have been attempting to beat each level, but I suck at this game. I still love it though and would agree a 9/10 is about right, but I am biased due to the difficulty.
Surprised there is no review for this game. I found a random youtube video that recommended it, and after about 2 hours in, I am enjoying this. The art style reminds me of Ahhh Real Monsters/Nickelodeon animation, and the controls are tight. For around $5, this game is a must!
I loved both Steamworld Dig games, but I cannot seem to get into card based games for some reason... I was hoping this would be a solid rpg and not card based This is a skip for me.
I think I already learned from buying Yonder how these BOTW-ish games are always a let down. I will have to wait for actual reviews and gameplay videos.
This game is excellent and really is a 9/10! Tundra Man for the win! After beating this, I may check out the legacy collections. I have truly enjoyed this game and the challenge so far and have 3 stages/bosses left.
I have this preordered on Amazon for the physical release in the US. They gave me $10 off since it doesn't show up with the Prime member discount for preordering. Hopefully this game is worth the $30. I missed this on PS4 since I had sold my PS4 for my Switch by then. Visuals look stunning and Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games so this looks promising.
I am hoping for Twilight Princess HD... I never actually had the chance to play Twilight Princess but Skyward Sword was great. Also hoping for some footage or announcement or teaser for Animal Crossing Switch... Fingers crossed!

Noticed this is on sale in the eshop... not worth the $12? I was hoping this would be a good one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?
Hollow Knight and Dragon Quest Builders for me.
Re: Review: Hollow Knight (Switch eShop)
This game has quickly consumed my free time. It’s a solid 10 out of 10 and everyone should have it in their library. Completely incredible!
