I predict it'll be a super effective move against an opponent, or possibly that it randomly pulls type from other learned moves (like Sleep Talk). Based on absolutely no sources whatsoever.
I'm curious if this game has mixed multiplayer like Overcooked 2, where multiple people can be on one system and play online with multiple people on other consoles.
I always hate it when games like Smash bros limit online multiplayer to one people per system.
@ZapNCrap Honestly, surprised that these comments give a pretty diverse range of people's favorites, which, I guess, means that they're designed pretty well.
Honestly it's the DLCs that are making it for me. I want to own a lot of these, but I love the idea of trying things I may not normally buy originally.
Even the way Nintendo allows the new Mario Kart tracks to be played online for free is pretty pro-consumer, by not segregating half the player base into different lobbies.
This is a phenomenal series that I got into way too late, but that did bless me with the ability to buy them all as soon as I needed to experience another.
Sadly the prices went up for some of the 3DS games, but I either saved or waited til they were on sale. I can only hope they do a compilation some day on a new system and draw a crowd back.
Good, glad to see them change it, but I still would not play if I had to provide that additional information for a game I bought years ago on a disc. Still looking forward to the title, but I'll give it a week so this goes into effect and the DDoS attacks settle down.
Honestly, it's nice to see how new developers are able to establish and make connections in the industry. I'm only aware of Fox's work, but it's good to see young blood working with the old guard.
Over the Alps deserves some recognition in my opinion. I've also been very curious about "Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator" if anyone has opinions on that.
@Immovablegamer6669 mostly Megaman but with different movement mechanics. Unlike Megaman, my deaths never felt cheap and I felt like I always had control of my character.
Wii, and I miss its automatic drift option. It didn't provide a boost or benefit to others, but was so helpful in allowing inexperienced or new players to play with confidence.
@BenAV I agree, I kept trying to make our 2 player team's percentage the highest, so I would go capture the other team's area for a victory. Only figured it out once us attackers won and I saw we shared the victory.
I'm not sure if this is the game for me. But I do appreciate the use of pokemon that aren't everywhere in other media, like Dodrio, Crustle, and Eldegoss.
Ocarina 3D. There is absolutely no reason it couldn't have been any of the other Zelda titles, I just waited years to try them I suppose. Man, was I blown away. Even after hearing the game was #1 on some Best Games of All Time lists, it still did not disappoint.
I know Sword and Shield will get some debate it was too bland. It was honestly what I wanted in a game. After not having finished a game since Gen 3 and 6, I just wanted a game about fun exploration and beating the bad guys, and not about is humanity the real monsters all along. I have Kirby for the latter.
It is interesting to note that Ninty is experimental with Kirby, that I think a side project there would be a game as a service first. Super Kirby Clash is F2P already and Dream Buffet seems like it could have been (it is also a very fun time).
I love content updates but prefer an experience where games aren't trying to upsell you every single second. I stopped playing Street Fighter V because of the ads hampering my enjoyment.
In a game about throwing turtle shells as Yoshi drifts by in a Mercedes GLA, these are perfectly servicable graphics.
I would rather play 48 additional courses than not at all. After all, it's what the community has asked for for the last 5 years. I'm having a lot of fun, and this comment section can't stop me.
Portal 2 was one of the few games I wish I had the money to just gift people. Once I finish playing my current games, I fully plan on buying these games so I can relive them once again. Glad they're back in a playable fashion for me.

Re: Talking Point: The Switch eShop Could Be Great With These Few Tweaks
I would like to be able to search the DLC for games that I own.
Re: Epic Mickey Switch Remake Translates "Motion Controls To Analog Sticks" And Enhances Camera
As long as it still has motion options, that's great. Then I can still play it on the go, just like Odyssey and 3D All Stars.
Re: Back Page: 15 Superb Owls On Nintendo Switch
Wingspan owl has entered the chat.
Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley Dev Shares Update About "Cozy Edition" Launch
It's not free to play until it has been free to play. This game is just $30 at the moment.
Re: Reminder: Disney Speedstorm Is Finally Free-To-Play On Switch
Congrats to everyone who also just held out and waited until the free to play game actually became free. We did it!
Re: Nintendo Plugs Mysterious New Tera Type For Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC
@Dm9982 I definitely like the idea of an anti-tera type move to make it strategic on when you transform.

Re: Disney Speedstorm Goes Free-To-Play On Switch This September
@Princess_Lilly
When it was revealed, Gameloft announced it as a free to play title with early access, claiming it would be free to play in 2023.

Re: Disney Speedstorm Goes Free-To-Play On Switch This September
Surprised that it's becoming free before Dreamlight Valley, but no complaints.
I'm interested in both of them, but announcing that they will be free dissuaded me from paying for either of them.

Re: Splatoon 3 Reveals Expansion Pass Wave 1 Launches Later This Month
While I will only get this when the Side Order debuts, it would be nice to be able to get to the tableturf battles quicker.

This is such a good lineup. Maple and Rock Rock will be great to play on switch
Re: Blizzard Removes Another Hero From Overwatch 2 For Two Weeks Due To Bug
Haven't played her in awhile since they sadly removed freeze, but I've been enjoying Sojourn a lot in her stead.

No matter, gives me more time to play splatzones and tower!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 22nd)
Back to the Animal Crossing grind between matches of Turf War in Splatoon 3 and Overwatch 2.
Glad they put Assault mode maps in the Arcade so I can still play them.
Re: Overwatch 2 Reaches 25 Million Players In The First 10 Days
Some of the benefits are how they reorganized the open and team queues, so you can still get some of that classic OW1 action before role queues began.
Re: Blizzard Has Temporarily Removed Two Heroes From Overwatch 2
Enjoying the new heroes, but only playing because they retracted their phone number requirement.
I'm not sure I'm sold on the new Bastion just yet, but I'm sure I'll come around. Same as I felt with Symmetra ages ago.
Re: Community: 24 Switch Games We Missed, As Recommended By You
Glad to see Over the Alps getting some more love and publicity. I always appreciate these lists to help discover new titles.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 8th)
Some more Splatoon 3 and finally decorating my island in Animal Crossing.
Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Reveals Farigiraf, The Evolution Of Girafarig
Finally! Heck yeah.
Re: Overwatch 2's New Phone Number Requirement Is Rejecting Pre-Paid Plans

Re: Mini Review: Picross S8 - Four-Player Picross? It's Absolute Madness!
Hijacking this rollercoaster of a post to rally the troops and request Picross 3D and its sequel be ported to Switch.
I'd be looking at 100 hours of playtime, no sweat.

Re: The "Last Day" To Play The Original Overwatch Will Be Early Next Month
Well that's a shame. That was my favorite mode. Well, at least OW2 will get me back into the game. Hoping for more new heroes.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles Studio Monolith Soft Helped Out With Splatoon 3
I think I remember them working on the world design for BOTW, which was phenomenal. Hope they keep up the good work.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 27th)
Kirby's Dream Buffet so I can hone my new skills, and Splatoon 3 test of course!
Re: Poll: Splatoon 3's First Splatfest Takes Place This Weekend - Which Team Are You On?
Team rock but definitely team Big Man.

Re: Nintendo's Next Free Game Trials Are Now Available For Switch Online Members
Good. I'm great against CPU but not online players, so maybe some more lower rank peoppe can join and have an evenly ranked sparring match.
