The game looks fun, but there is nothing to justify the $80 price tag. Where exactly is the $20 of extra value compared to any other open-world racing game? Are we getting free DLC? They haven’t said that no. And even if they do release DLC, I bet they’ll say you can get it "for free" with the Online Expansion Pack. Enjoy not owning your games — ask Ubisoft how great of an idea that is to tell your players. Nintendo really is the Apple of gaming, and their fans are just going to pay for it and make the entire industry more expensive in the process.
Sure, you can get the bundle, but people who buy the game separately get screwed. This is literally Forza Horizon for kids and die-hard Nintendo fans. Nintendo is playing catch-up, and players are the ones paying for it.
