@Alundra-1998 Sorry, forgot to reply. Same price as the Nintendo store, sans the ugly t-shirt.
Edit: Oh just to mention I managed to pre-order from the Nintendo store for Fire Emblem. Just got lucky by getting the email in a timely fashion I guess.
@Starwolf_UK I'll give that a go next time I need to risk GAME fleecing my account. I just paid the asking price for Starfox and will hope that maybe I'll secure a FE at a later date.
@RIC616 As I just found out while pre-ordering Star Fox Zero First Print Edition from GAME, you cannot use gift cards. I too had the £10 voucher still and after redeeming it to their wallet app thingy it won't allow you to apply it at checkout. Typical.
I got my gift card today also. The way I figure it I'll just use it towards an Amiibo at a GAME store. Granted they charge over the top for Amiibo (£15 I think) but it means an Amiibo at half the price.
Really I wasn't expecting any kind of compensation so I'll give them that much.
I moaned at GAME on Twitter and they didn't reply. I emailed EG and let them know that I'd then been charged 7 times and low and behold GAME responded! They clearly have been watching the websites and can see the damage this has done to their rep.
As it stands I've still yet to have any form of dispatch note from them, this despite being told my order had been dispatched and therefore could not be cancelled. If it wasn't for the fact that the woman I spoke to at GAME was so nice I'd be foaming at the mouth right about now.
Possibly the hardest tribute to Iwata san that I've come across so far. It's so poignant and heartfelt that I would imagine no one could read it with feeling a little choked up.
It comes to something when I was able to order the boy and girl Inkling Amiibo from the USA for one and Australia for the other and get them both delivered for less than what Amazon wanted to charge me here in the UK.
I'm not even talking marketplace vendors, I mean Amazon UK. The other great irony is that I paid less than UK price and I live no more than 20mins away from a major Amazon distribution hub.
Call me old fashioned if you like but I find zero enjoyment in watching someone play a game on Youtube. Surely the fun actually comes from playing the games yourself?
That I find most of these Youtube "celeb's" to be self absorbed, over inflated egotistical types really doesn't help.
@Luna-Harmony Errr ok. Pretty sure the signs are there that they are collectable. i.e going out of stock already and being limited to one per customer.
Mine arrived today and I've just transfered all my data across. It's the first time I've ever had to migrate data on a Nintendo handheld and I can't say it's a pleasant or quick operation.
Nintendo really need to get with the program on that one.
Not sure it is was coincidence or not but I took the advice of a GAF'r and emailed Nintendo directly. I was told I'd be added to the list and sure enough once I checked my account status I was able to add the N3DS to my cart.
Considering the pin badges are like 4000 points I was happy to throw 3700+ on this. It's not like they ever put anything super awesome on there and I'll miss out on it so what the heck, it's another t-shirt for the collection.
I picked up a Marth yesterday from Toys R Us. Standard pricing £10.89. They had no Villager but plenty of Wii Fit Trainer. Oddly they had hardly any of the others. No Yoshi, Pikachu or Kirby.
I'm not into Bayonetta 2, I'm not really thinking Smash Bros is for me but having played this at EGX I'm totally sold. (I was sold even before I played it but now even more so)
I saw some of the Nintendo Life staff milling around the show floor but I was way too bashful to go up and thank them for their efforts. Saw the Outside Xbox crew walking around too, same deal, didn't have it in me to go up and say hi.
I don't agree with his conclusions at all. Even in my most hardcore days I doubt I'd have been so invested in Nintendo that I'd want multiple consoles to play different regions software.
Being honest if I were so inclined to play games that were unavailable to me I'd look into less salubrious methods before throwing down more cash on another console.
Nintendo needs to embrace the whole DLC thing. I'm not a massive fan of DLC per se but done right (Mario Kart 8 for example) I don't mind throwing a few extra quid in their direction. When everyone else is doing the DLC thing Ninty only suffer for not doing the same.
I'm sitting on 8k stars now. I'm waiting in hope that one day Nintendo will restock the 3DS game cases. Nothing else they have put up in recent times has interested me in the slightest.
@LittleIrves I'm in agreement. As much as I love my XL the smaller new 3DS is kind of alluring with the snap on covers and bigger screen. I can see myself opting for that model over the XL this time round I think.
I'm quite envious of these offerings. As a UK resident it's great to have physical items available, however beyond soundtrack cd's (which most people seem to put on eBay and sell on to others) there is very little of interest and on the odd occasion that something decent does show up you have to have twitch like reactions to get hold of them as everyone and their brother is hoarding points anticipating.
So, being realistic the chances of me not owning a game on offer is better than wanting a Link notepad or a Yoshi binder.

Really hope so anyway.

Re: European Club Nintendo Has a Lovely Last Hurrah With the Nintendo Sound Selection Double CD
Managed to score a copy by trading a 3DS game case with a buddy who had stars available to get the CD. Happy days!

Re: Updated Club Nintendo Game Card Case Now Available to PAL Gamers
Been waiting for these to get stocked. I have one already that I imported from Japan. They are hands down the best 3DS cart cases.
Was tempted to get two and eBay one but this way I'm left with a 5000ish points should something nice drop.
Re: The Captain Toad Figurine Lamp is Now Lighting Up Club Nintendo in PAL Territories
Why did they model him with his mouth closed? I'll hold out for something more useful, like the 3DS cart case should they ever show up.

I really wish Toad had his mouth open. He looks kinda strange as it is.
Re: Rumour: Customisable Mii Fighter amiibo Could Be On The Way
The hot glue on the figure's right leg is a bit of a give away.
Re: Official Nintendo UK Store Launches Splatoon Wii U Bundles with amiibo and a GamePad Skin
Hey @ThomasWhitehead It's not a gamepad skin. It's a hard case gamepad protector. It's much the same as the Luigi one I currently have on my gamepad.

I want to pre-order Span Redactor Yoshi but I can't find it anywhere on the store!!!!
Pre-ordered a Toad, shame it's not Captain Toad mind. Oh well, guess I'll have to pony up for that one too.
