Re: Annapurna Interactive Collection Contains 12 Acclaimed Games On One Switch Cartridge

My inner collector wants this. My responsible side says absolutely not. I really don't mean to belittle Annapurna or discredit these games but they are only indies that you can probably snag digitally on a sale all together for $50 or possibly less. If Stray were on here that would be pretty dope though. Sadly, these physical games that become limited for no real just become fodder for scalpers.

Re: Random: People Are Getting Pretty Worried About Splatoon 3

Yep. I should be itching with excitement for this game but im unfortunately not. They haven't shown me a whole lot that separates Splatoon 2 from 3. And Splatoon (1) wasn't much different than 2.. which I didn't mind because I was just happy to see the franchise get noticed but hopefully Nintendo did something to separate this one from the others.

I should be itching for excitment for this game but unfortunately I'm really not. I love Splatoon 1&2. I didn't think Splatoon 2 was really all that different from Splatoon (1) and I was ok with that because I was just happy to finally see the franchise branch out to an entirely new audience. However, they haven't really shown much that separates Splatoon 2 from Splatoon 3. Hopefully they share way more details soon..? Because as it stands right now it's pretty the same as the last game.

Re: Looks Like Nintendo Has Been Reprinting 3DS Retail Games For A Final Hurrah

@NikHogan The funny thing about the 3DS is everyone was eventually so sick of it because yes, the handheld stuck around for pretty long time. The Switch had just released and people really just wanted to hear about what's coming to Switch not 3DS. Now that Nintendo has basically completely moved on from the 3DS people finally realized, 'man, this handheld and the game library is incredible.'

I love my 3DS. Its just as good, if not better for 'On the go' gaming than the Switch. (That might be a hot take but I'm sticking to it) I've never given up on it and I don't really plan to. Its going to really suck once these games start getting really expensive because it's one of the few platforms I still enjoyed buying for.

RIP 3DS. You will be missed.

Re: Talking Point: Should We Still Be Pre-Ordering Games?

Qphlat27

Only if I find it worth it. I certainly don't trust big AAA developers. As much as Nintendo gets hate I've never preordered a first party Nintendo game and totally regretted it. It may have just not been my jam at worse. Most of these other companies ship full price, broken games. Of course I've preordered a couple from other companies and regretted it but that was part of the learning experience.
