I live in Japan and understand they had to do this. The strong USD has been tough for Japan and everyday people can't afford 70,000 yen for a console. It sucks for me because I prefer to play in English but I am also not willing to dish out 70,000 yen when I can pay 50,000 yen. Everytime I do online shopping in USD, I cringe. Everything is so expensive. For perspective, $1 USD is about 150 yen. It use to be 100-110 yen! So we are kind of paying a 40-50% tax on many things.
