I enjoy these games, but why does it seem that rogue like is all that is being made right now?

@RiggsHB hey question about CAG...when adding to the 'collection' section, how come several of the games do not have the switch version listed or as an option to choose?

Is it just platformer or does it have metroid/castlevania type play?

yeah its great with the kids. My only issue is the co-op local multiplayer does not allow for players 2-4 to use their 'profiles', they have to use generic profiles.

How much rogue like is this?

i can't seem to find this anywhere...so i am wondering...if i have a downloaded copy on my main switch and a hard copy on my switch lite then i can play two different islands, correct? And with the hard copy it wouldn't require the 'online' verification correct? I'm asking because my wife is playing on our main switch and i am going to get a copy for our lite to have my own island. Then we can visit each others islands also. No big deal though. I just want to make sure it works okay. i would appreciate the help if anyone knows for sure.

The score of 6 compared to the pros and cons seems unbalanced...or is it just me.

@flapjack-ashley mine works in handheld. It’s just when I first start the game up in docked mode.

Well, our Roku tv would crash when I started it in dock mode. I have to start it in handheld mode then dock it. It is a little odd.

Just asking, but you mention hundreds of hours of content...I am noticing most are only averaging around 50 - 60 hrs??

Is it just multiplayer online or does it have local multiplayer too?

I just started Astral Chain today....WOW...the opening "file"/chapter is AMAZING...one of the BEST openings I have played in a good while. Played through all of file 2 also. WOW! The cutscenes are pretty intense...kinda remind me a bit of the early Xenoblade Chronicles 2 cutscenes when Pyra brings Rex back to life and the big fight scene that follows...it gives you that kind of feel.. This game will be played a lot from me...and I still need to start FEThree houses, but I will wait on that one just a bit. Anyways, Astral Chain is amazing all around. I enjoyed Bayonetta 1 & 2, and the combo/dodging/hitting mechanics involved. The added second "party" that you control adds a whole new depth to me. It will take a bit of mastering but I am excited to master the two so they sync in battle.

well, I got the base game at $20...its decent...plus my younger kids love it so I suppose not a total loss.

@Mach_Rider weird I got all three codes in the one email...just waiting for eshop to update unlike others on Twitter and Facebook who have no patience and think it should have worked immediately. This is more Nintendo updating their side than Nway.

Well, I know me and my kids will enjoy it for what it is... Besides, my five and ten year old are looking to play this with me, so maybe this will be a good "entry" fighter game for them.

Well just pre-ordered the deluxe edition for $39 with the season pass included in that cost. Plus it includes 3 extra skins and an added character along with the DLC access to the upcoming additions.
