Rumours surrounding the potential ports of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on Switch are seemingly never-ending. With the recent delay of Breath of the Wild 2 into 2023, key industry figures are once again speculating that the classic GameCube (and Wii) titles may just see the light of day later this year.

Jeff Grubb, upon answering a listener question on his YouTube channel, has expressed his confidence in Nintendo releasing a double pack on Switch containing both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, emphasising his belief that if Nintendo don't do it this year, then it might never come to fruition:

"They want to have a Zelda thing every year, they've been holding onto this, why wouldn't they just put it out this year, and if they don't put this out or some other Zelda thing this year instead of just waiting for Breath of the Wild 2, I just will not understand.

I do think this game, as much as it was a joke in the Mega64 video, I do believe it does actually come out in October. I think we get that in October, I think we get a Metroid Prime remaster in November, and I think we get Advance Wars 1 + 2 in December."

It's important to make it crystal clear that Jeff is more or less speculating in this video, however educated his guesses may be. It's entirely possible that Nintendo doesn't launch Wind Waker or Twilight Princess on the Switch at all, but we at Nintendo Life remain ever hopeful.

What do you make of Jeff's predictions? Do you think we'll see Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on Switch? Let us know in the comments!
