Hopefully it gets a physical over here in the UK. If they bundled it with anything then I wouldn't mind them bundling it with the Beatemup collection that didn't get a physical in the UK!
Looks like the Japanese version is what I’m getting.
This what I want.
@ralphdibny Play Asia has listings for NA and EU physical editions too.
I'm keen to find out if this new print of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection has all update patches on cartridge.
@Damo sweet!
Awesome! More physical game releases!
But I’m getting this game digital though.
I read the Street Fighter 30th bundle is digital only in the West and costs $59.99.
This is a must-buy for me. The entire Darkstalkers series, Hyper Street Fighter II and Super Gem Fighters are the highlights of this pack.
I really would love a MvC collection next from them
@ralphdibny I like this idea. We need a beat em up collection physical release
I'll just get the Capcom Fighting Collection. Already got the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection long time ago, unless this new collection had extra contents or extra games included then I may considered but for now I want my Darkstalkers and Puzzle Fighters more.
Love to see it! Yes, please!
Would be cool if they did a western release for Beat 'Em Up Bundle too, but I'll take what I can get!
@1UP_MARIO There's an import release for it, if you are interested! https://www.play-asia.com/capcom-belt-action-collection-multi-language/13/70cawh
I'm not super into fighting games, but somehow I'm still tempted by this, mostly so I can officially retire my Super Puzzle Fighter GBA cartridge. I don't even have a working GBA anymore but I still occasionally give it go on the DS, and that game is fire. I've also never played any Darkstalkers games.
Probably not worth it for me in the end, though.
As much as I love Darkstalkers, it's a bit underwhelming that five of the games in this ten-game collection are from that series. Still, I never played Cyberbots or Red Earth, so that alone will make it worth it, along with the other gems--depending on the price.
@CharlieGirl I know about that one. Thanks for the link but to be bundle with this collection
Does anyone know if the japanese arcade versions of titles in the new bundle are easier than their western counterparts? I bought the SF japan version which is lightyears easier than the western, but just curious. I'll be getting this no matter what
Ah, a physical copy is much appreciated.
Wow... that's actually a new precedent for Capcom...
Normally not my genre but this has me interested
Kind of offtop, but... The only one current and popular platform, where Street Fighter II haven't gotten official release is Android. Street Fighter II collection of home(SNES/Sega Mega Drive) ports was released on iOS back in 2010s. While Android have gotten nothing. The same goes for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which was also released on iOS back in 2010s. Strange the Capcom didn't released it on Android. At least, we now have ACA NEO GEO ports for mobile...
@Dualmask Well, you can buy Cyberbots separately in Capcom Arcade Stadium for... 2 or 3$?
I enjoyed the Darkstalker and Vampire Savior games back in the Dreamcast days, though vs. fighting games haven't appealed to me much in my middle age. Still, I've never tried Red Earth and I always appreciate a nice physical game collection so I just may purchase now.
@1UP_MARIO yep! 💯
That's awesome! This will definitely help get more eyes on it. Definitely will be on the look out for this physical once it drops. Gonna be grinding the hell out of all of the games on there. (I'm always looking for more people to play fighters with on Switch lol)
We're never seeing Power Stone again are we? 😢
I'm glad for a physical release! I'm also curious who is doing the development. Rollback netcode is not the golden bullet most people believe it is. SF30th had rollback but it was very poorly implemented. I like Digital Eclipse but they are terrible at implementing online play.
Not physically available in Europe.
Don't give playasia money.
Don’t see how this is shocking. SF 30th collection got a physical awhile back as well.
@bonjong23 Why not?
No Alien vs Predator or Punisher
No Marvel fighting games
No Rival Schools
No Power Stone
No III or 2nd Impact
I guess that's what happens when you don't have a D-pad 😄
I don't have either so it tempting to get the bundle but I hope they do release it here in Ireland.
Thats clever of them to do that. People will forget everything else, and fall over themselves to get this.
It would be cool if they patched Anniversary to have better rollback Netcode and online for ALL the games.
I hope this does well so that we can get stuff like a second collection with ( dare I say it) Power stone1&2, rival schools, project justice, and (a man can dream) CvS1 and CvS2
Take note, Konami. You can release classic games through regular retail like Capcom is, not via Limited Ripoff Games and their bulls-t. Defeats the entire original spirit and purpose of such a publisher.
I own so many fighting games but I'm not good at any of them. Never have been good at 1v1 fighters. Still great fun to play though. This is a really nice collection and all but Street Fighter 2 will be new to me. And even that itself is a different version to the ones I already have. Can't wait!
Nice that Capcom finally do a physical release this time considering both the Capcom Arcade Stadia and the Beat Em Up Bundle doesn't had physical release over here in NA. See Sega this is how you do a physical release, now give us Sonic Origins Collection just like this.
@AndyC_MK111 I think it will get a UK release. I don't know why I think that lol. I'm sure I read it somewhere!
I am really looking forward to the cowabunga collection as well as the new game though!
@AndyC_MK111 I think it will based on Streets of Rage 4 getting one over here too. Even after I ordered the stupid "limited run" edition. I'm thinking of selling that copy and just buying the physical anniversary copy that has the DLC on the cart to be honest
I’m on the fence on this one. although I’m purchasing more physical, this is one that I’d probably get in digital format
@AndyC_MK111 It depends on how you pay. They definitely charge up front if you use Paypal. I think credit cards are charged just before shipping.
Wish they would bring Ultra Street Fighter IV over.
It's my favorite fighting game of all time but I would kill to have a Switch version for having it portable and the ease of slapping it on the dock too. PLEASE CAPCOM
Amazon Germany has it listed, but you can not order it yet.
I was on the fence... but I think I'm down for getting this!
£32.98 digital in UK. That's a bit much for me as someone who only wants it to play Super Puzzle Fighter online.
@ralphdibny
Check out 365games as I bought a Japanese copy (capcom belt up collection) for just over £30.
@OorWullie SF30th got a physical release in North America and Europe. I just did a search on Amazon USA, and there are a couple third party sellers selling the PEGI release for just under $30.
@ralphdibny It is getting a release everywhere, amazon already has a listing. Belt Action compilation will never release again.
@AndyC_MK111 Cowabunga collection is up for pre-order at Amazon UK!
@AndyC_MK111 good stuff, I may place an order closer to release!
Will the double pack Capcom Fighting Collection (Legendary Pack) be released in Europe?
So gutted we never got a physical release in Europe. I wrote to Capcom Europe and expressed my dismay that I can't own a physical copy of the Darkstalkers games on a Nintendo console. Kind of made sense to have the Arcade Stadia digital only but to have a physical release of this and that might've helped with cannibalisation of sales but alas they never did. Loved the art on the bundle with SF 30th Anniversary Collection too but couldn't bring myself to pay Play-Asia prices
