Earlier this month, Original Stitch, the makers of the official (and very fancy) Pokémon Shirts, retired 36 of their designs for the original 151 Pokémon from Kanto. Sad news, to be sure — but now they've been replaced with 36 new designs, so who cares! Get in the bin, old stuff! We're all about new stuff now.
The new patterns replace the exact same Pokémon that were retired, and can be used to make shirts, masks, aprons, and bandanas. Here's the full list:
- Bulbasaur
- Ivysaur
- Venusaur
- Charmander
- Charmeleon
- Charizard
- Squirtle
- Wartortle
- Blastoise
- Caterpie
- Weedle
- Pidgeot
- Raichu
- Clefable
- Ninetales
- Meowth
- Persian
- Arcanine
- Machamp
- Rapidash
- Dewgong
- Muk
- Koffing
- Scyther
- Magmar
- Pinsir
- Tauros
- Lapras

As always, check out the Original Stitch Pokémon Shirts site for more! The new patterns are available right now, and the old ones were retired on Wednesday, December 15th.

Why is redoing the Kanto designs a higher priority than getting out the Gen 4 shirts whilst the remakes are relevant?
Kate Gray subheaders are always outstanding
This is amazing. They have so many Asian Booth leg store selling this stuff it's crazy I'm finally glad that I know what the real website is now. Too bad it's like $100 base for the shirt and so many designs are sold out. If they do payment plans I might just get one
Gen 1 merchandise. Wow, how very original.
Looks like their website misspells 'Hoenn'. There's some quite nice designs in there, but they're astonishingly expensive. Pokémon tax!
Also, excellent pun in the subtitle!
@Harmonie They're just shirts.
My Crawdaunt shirt just got in the mail. Can’t wait to wear it on my next vacation.
$100 for a shirt is bonkers, I don't care how cool they are.
Haha, were these shirts designed by Wyatt Koch? Actually these are much better, but still not really my style.
Shirts look very nice, just do not have the money.
I like some of the old designs better (caterpie for instance) because they work better as work shirts, but I will be adding a few of these to my wardrobe next year. Since I'll be traveling for work more often than I did since the pandemic started.
