GTA Trilogy getting a hefty sale?
Gta for free? Lol
And please stop with the 33% on nintendo games lol.
Some prices are way to high on the eshop. In store the games games go for way less.
I bet Mario and Rabbids will go on sale for the same sale price it went 4 years ago.
Tetris Effect Connected has my attention, for a digital release it's fairly pricey for what you'd really want as a physical release.
HELLBLADE please. It went on sale in 2020 for the anniversary of it's release and has not been on sale in NA since.
@1UP_MARIO It really is amazing they have been practically giving Mario+Rabbids away in previous years for $7.99-$14.99 USD. I loved that game. (and I don't even like turn based games - true story.)
Ok but how about Dark Souls Remastered? That neeeeevererrerrrr goes on sale.
Insane deals everywhere on the Switch but Nintendo titles $3 off, I suspect.
I have a few things on my wish list... will have a look.
I have my fingers crossed for Boomerang Fu!!!
Some 1st part games need a deeper discount. No reason BotW & Mario Kart should still be $60 regularly $41 on sale. They should be $29.99 for Black Friday at this point. I’m sure this sale will include the usual deep discounts on all the Lego games, Ubisoft games and SquareEnix games we see every other month.
Time to start adding stuff to the wish list!
And Nintendo games (the only ones worth getting on Switch if you have any other console) will be 33% off as always. 33% is too little considering eShop prices.
Good to see the EU celebrating Thanksgiving, no hard feelings and all that.😂
I’ve not bought anything on the eShop in 18 months that hasn’t been reduced- stuff gets reduced quit3 quickly now. Hopefully some of my wish list will be included.
@Supadav03 @The-Chosen-one In previous gens, we'd be seeing Nintendo Selects by now too. It's unfortunate there's no indication of that line coming to the Switch. I understand some don't like the packaging, but digitally it'd be nice for those early 1st party games to get cut down in price by even that usual 33% sale cost by default or something.
I can imagine new Switch owners in around a year being asked to spend full price for BotW and Splatoon 2 after the sequels have dropped, which is a bit silly, especially for Splatoon.
Two Point Hospital and Into the Breach please!
By the time you find the game you want on the eshop the sale will be over , or the eshop will crash because of the high demand.
Wow 1000 games!!!
the eShop is slow now this will slap it in reverse lol
@WoomyNNYes I’m in the same boat. I’m not a fan of turn based games but this was brilliant and I don’t regret paying full price, dlc was great too. Can’t wait for the sequel.
What odds that none of those pictured will be 75% off?
We all know Nintendo's own games will have relatively minor sales but fingers crossed for some othe games not made by Ubisoft to have a decent sale
Bro did Nintendo just announce an 18th month?!
(I know how Europe writes their dates)
@Orpheus79V I remember Nintendo's hits were marketed as Player's Choice a few years later and sold at half the price and they had to invest the same money on the cartridge/disc, manual and packaging. Meanwhile, on eShop the cost of selling you a copy is technically zero and still haven't seen anything below 33% off.
Can’t wait to wade thru a ton of shovel ware to find one game!
If they ever ditched the 33%, I would buy many games...
Obviously not 34%
Those discounts on the top titles makes them the same price they are physical from retailers and thief simulator will be no1 in the chart again 😂
@Supadav03 @Orpheus79V Amen! There is no reason to keep digital games at $60 on the eShop. I am looking at you Link’s Awakening.
Though, BOTW is probably the only game that is underpriced at $60.
How about eShop discounts for NSO members?
As for Selects, they tend to come out toward the end of life of the console. And the Switch is enjoying a long life.
can't wait for NoA to knock 10% off Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and BOTW and then act like its a big deal!
Seeing massive games like The Witcher 3 and Dragon Quest 11 go on 50% discount makes it very tempting for me to buy.
When are we going to see some actual top titles with a reasonable discount? How about seeing Pokémon Sword and Shied with a half decent discount? The games have been out for ages now.
50% off the witcher... Hmmm
Oh wow I'd love that Dragon Quest XI S discount on the Canadian eshop.
Still feel like Nintendo offers are underwhelming compared to what other platform offer. 4-5 year old first party games should cost way less!
Hopefully Luigi's mansion 3 goes on sale in the US
@1UP_MARIO 15$ for the deluxe edition
@Deepdoop I got it for 50% off last year. I think it was either target or GameStop that had that sale
@CheekyZelda dekudeals is your friend.
I got monster hunter ride, super Mario party, and new Pokémon snap for around 80-90$ at GameStop
@chewytapeworm Yup! Rockstar was kind of enough take the originals off the marketplace so now we’re being forced to download them elsewhere for free! Such a great company! 😊
Joking of course lol.
Wow Dragon Quest XI S being half off is a good deal. A complete 70 hour journey for $30 is fantastic.
Hoping DQ XI S gets the same discount in the U.S. because $25 is not bad at all.
Give me XC2 at a decent price please 🙏
50% off Dragon Quest XI… amazing discount for value. Take note, y’all.
@WoomyNNYes
Its crazy that i still havent played this game i was having doubts even tho i liked what i saw.
Reading your comment made me wanting this game lol.
@BlueOcean true this is even goes against the law of supply and demand. It cost them nothing but still they price it higher
@Supadav03 why do they need a deeper discount? BotW still shifts at a very high price at retail, in fact used copies go for only a little less.
If you're willing to buy physical and sell your games on after you've finished them, Switch first party gaming is cheaper than game rentals ever were.
I bet my inbox will be filled with alerts from Deku Deals soon
The Witcher 3 and Dragon Quest XI? Nice! Maybe I'll finally get one of those! Most probably, the latter!
Please don’t have stuff I want please don’t have stuff I want
YES! I've been waiting for a Crash 4 sale like this. Hope it comes to the US...
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMNN!! "Just" downloaded THPS 1+2 at $30...curse my impatient ways!!!
@ukaskew because they are 5 year old games (and Wii U ports to boot!). Look at PS4 & XBO games. Even the top selling, flagship games are found at nearly 50% off quite often, especially around Black Friday. Nintendo is notorious for not doing this. They are obviously amazing games and need to be in any Switch owners library but it’s kind of anti-consumer to still be selling these at $60. At this point they should be $45 regularly with a $30 price tag during major sales.
Hoping for eastward and ori blind forest xxx
I would be moreso willing to download titles, as opposed to physical purchase, if said titles were significantly cheaper, in addition to my other reasons for preferring physical purchases.
Most co.s, including Nintendo, need to realize that upfront profits are not always better than long-term profits from repeat consumers/customers. Put some titles on good sale. Watch the long-term profits soar.
That's not gonna stop you guys make a separate article for lame Kemco games discounts.
@The-Chosen-one GTA trilogy for 1.99 E
@Karaya92
I agree for everyone who havent played dragonquest yet, its a steal with this price.
So is this meant to be eShop's big sale in the vicinity of Black Friday stuff, or is the so-called "cyber Monday" supposed to unveil a bunch more? A rather first world concern here, but still. Granted, with OVER ONE THOUSAND items promised (RIP Deku Deals server... it's ironically good that my payday is not due until a day later 😅), there are decent odds of me finding some offers that will itch me into splurging on them regardless of what might come after.
@Supadav03 "No reason BotW & Mario Kart should still be $60 regularly $41 on sale"
Pretty sure there IS a reason (besides a business's freedom to price an entertainment product as they please, I mean). NL itself reports it on a weekly basis.
Oh boy, time to get tempted by NSMBU on the eshop again 😆
Please nobody tell me that NSMBU looks great on the oled or anything..
I might download the demos for Age of Calamity and Pikmin to see if they are worth picking up.
There are over 100 games on my wishlist but they rarely hit the discounted price I am after.
@NinChocolate It does look pretty nice. The problem is when you play it.
pretty old stuff up there - wonder if the three houses dlc will be up on sale too
Fingers crossed the Calculator is reduced
Fingers crossed that Thief Simulator will finally be on sale.
On the first party front I was expecting Mario Maker 2, Splatoon 2 and Famicom Detective. On third party front, Castlevania Advance and Axiom verge 2.
But what I'm really sad about is Secret of Mana remake (the one in Vita, PC and PS4). I really want this thing on Switch
Meh better deals on ps / Xbox store
Might pick up Sonic Colors. Should be £26, not bad!
Hope to finally grab Ori and the blind forest, I been sitting on will of the wisps long enough
I wonder how many years it will be (if ever) until we see the same discounts as on XO and PS4, Witcher 3 Complete is 9.99 and the base game 5.99 very often, 29.99 is not that much of a bargain. The same with Bioshock Collection, Resident Evil games, Lego Games etc...
My wishes are those expensive Darius and NeoGeo Pocket collections! And some Hamster stuff, please!
We need games like Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma for 10€ asap, thank you.
good games will get a 33% discount
***** games will get 75% off...
as usual
eShop.....no actual physical..
@WoomyNNYes
Nintendo is unique in that they use an "evergreen" sales strategy while UBI is more inline with the industry standard.
Because the game has Mario in it, we compare it to other Nintendo games. An ever green strategy is when you try and make products that are more or less timeless (Mario Kart 8 is 7 years old and still makes top 10 weekly sales) and then make it clear you are never going to heavily discount them. That way people are less reluctant to buy your "old" game because they know waiting for a sale isn't really viable.
The rest of the industry uses two windows. The release window is generally the first 90 days (although less if the game had strong pre-orders) where you promote the game without discounting it. The next, which is also generally 90 days, you promote, patch, and discount in the 30% range. After that ... half a year at most, you now consider that assist WORTHLESS. You're done. Gaming moves to fast for your 6 month old dinosaur of a game. If you can get $5 for it, great.
So if you look at the fact that Mario + Rabbids is a Nintendo quality game which has a Nintendo IP in it ... absolutely. The fact we get it at 75% off is insane. But if you look at it like a UBsoft game, the only shocking part of the deep discount is that Nintendo isn't doing it all the time.
We all know how this is going to go because its the exact same every single year. They boast about 1000 games on sale, its 980 Mobile games that should be free, 15 third party games that are on sale every few weeks and 5 first party games that are the exact same ones we get every single sale that most people already own.
Nintendo price lock their games, the ONLY company that still does it and tthe hard fans still think its normal
@1UP_MARIO Of course it will. Same as with all first party games, same games, same price every damn year.
@80sGamer For Nintendo, the value of the game never decreases with age 😁 We've been conditioned by Steam etc to expect that and Nintendo are pretty much the only video game company around with this particular pricing strategy.
They treat their software pricing about the same way apple treats their hardware product pricing. 😏
@earthinheritor TBF pretty much EVERY other video game company would love to continue sell their game at full price and have them sit at the top of the sales charts for weeks on end. Almost nobody else can achieve the long tail sales that Nintendo can and has achieved.
There's no business reason to change their pricing strategy now. Besides, you'll only condition players to wait for a sale.
I am so getting Dragon Quest XI and Tony Hawk. I've been waiting YEARS for Dragon Quest XI to go on a sale like this. I hope Spyro also goes on sale, and maybe a few indie games on my list.
Edit: AWWWW CRAP! It's for EUROPE! 😫. Gets me everytime!
@john_lennon999 third parties control their own eshop prices. Maybe another year for Witcher 3 to get more than 50% off? Capcom rarely discounts more than 50% so you'll have to wait longer for Resident evil to drop further. Monster Hunter world took relatively ages to drop more than 50% and that was on the PC where deep discounting is regular (unless your name is koei and it's about nobunaga 😡 )
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot , just ported in September , it would be nice to see tho.
More than 1,000 games! Totally different than the normal daily sales of 890 games.
However happy to see a few games rarely on sale on the list. I may buy a couple from my wishlist.
@jsty3105 Other companies know that games lose value and lowering the price brings in more sales for people that didnt jump in the first time around.
Nintendo gets to the top of the list artificially. They don't get there because the game keeps the value. They get there because people know Nintendo games never go on sale so they just buy them anyway.
2020 3 Nintendo games were in the top 20 list.
1 of those was artifically shoved to the top because it was the 3 Mario games that were temporary, so everyone went nuts trying to get it before it was taken off the market.
The games dont keep their value, Nintendo forces them to keep their value. Every other games gets to the top of the list legitimately.
You can hate on me all you like but those are cold hard facts. Its how they have always operated.
@earthinheritor Completely disagree on them getting to the top of the list artificially. Also disagree regarding value. If the game never goes on sale but people consider it has value at that price point, they'll buy. Consumers rarely buy things they don't 'value' (that's different to things like impulse purchases). I 'think' that's either in Sales 101 or Marketing 101 - too long ago for me to recall now.
Sounds like you got a sore spot - particularly with the line about 'every other game gets to the top of the list legitimately'. shrugs
No hate. Would just be nice to have more gamers understand business stuff - this goes for decisions by Sony and Microsoft as well but that's going off topic.
Lol more copy/paste Nintendo sales. $42 again for old first party games? WHAT A BARGAIN LMAO
@jsty3105 yeah, I don't blame Nintendo for this, but it is a common thing on eshop, even on only digital titles that there is no reason to much a bigger physical price due to cartidge costs. Even Ubisoft that has 60% off on many titles (eg Trivial Pursuit) has a bigger normal price so they are more expensive. RE games had a 50% off when they were 30€ that became 25% now so the price on sale remains the same. It is not fair for Switch users, I have most of the games on XBox One but I would buy them again most of them on Switch but I do not support this, If you want to support Switch you 'll have to pay more for the same game.
On 3DS most of them had very good sales though.
Wow, congrats Europe! Hopefully US will get a similar sale before the end of year.
"The sale's only been confirmed for Europe..."
Damn. Another day, two more disappointments. 😞
@Milton_Burle Hoping for a little off Agent A too...
Only 30% on Divinity? Pass...
Hoping for ACA Neo Geo Archives games to go on sale.
@BlueOcean
Not True. See no reson getting a game like two point hospital on PS4 instead of Switch...pretty huge deal being able to play it both on tv and handheld..
@NintendoByNature unless it becomes a player choice release, xc2 will never drop more than 33% I'm afraid
@KnightRider666 I'm hoping for the Capcom ones to go on a bigger sale too. Won't happen for this month I think as it usually takes months for Capcom published games to drop by 50%
I might pick up Tetris Effect with that discount!
@john_lennon999 don't forget to factor in that many of the multiplatform games on the Switch came to the Switch last, so they'd naturally be more expensive than on other platforms.
Games are always on sale at the eShop, you just need to keep track of it. There are many games that were discounted up to a crazy 90%. I recently bought Yoku's island - the 75% sale for this game is still on.
Tony Hawk almost half off? Hell yeah!
Hope the sale comes to North America!
@dimi Right, it was an effort to sell physical games at half the price with the cartridge/discs, manuals, packaging, distribution costs and retailer's profit. The digital sales on Xbox an PS are significantly more generous than Nintendo's sales which are ridiculous.
@NRLPLSTCTY Dark Souls actually launched on sale for some reason - I picked it up for $24.99 then it went up to $39 a week later - usually those kind of prints have a limited run (for example, you never see DOOM, Wolfenstein, Bayonetta physical in stores) so I assume they’re trying to just sell through
@earthinheritor throughout history, EVERY mario all-stars game has had a limited release
Any news for Nintendo of North America (Canada/US)?
I really want Fire Emblem Three Houses to go on sale as well as Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, but it'll only be like $15 off or something 😩. I'd put it on my Christmas list lol but there's like three games that came out this year I want soo much like DREAD
@WhiteTrashGuy Same. I have been waiting and waiting to buy Hellblade and Firewatch. Haven't seen any of these on sale in a year.
The splash screen has appeared on my Switch with all the games that are in the sale, but the prices don't appear to have actually been discounted yet!
I just wanted to let any of you guys in North America know that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is on sale physically on Amazon for 45% off. I was pretty disappointed to see that game was only in this European sale, so if anyone had their eye on that game...well, there you go.
@NRLPLSTCTY 50% off Dark Souls. Think I’m gunna nab it
European and Australian eShops? Where is America?
I hope Astral Chain is 100% off lol
@earthinheritor I don't think your right in saying that the hard fans find this practice as normal, I mean I can see that many companies discount. But at the end of the day I am happy that nintendo do not discount there products like others do, because I tend to buy all my games on release and prefer not to feel like an idiot when I see everyone buying it cheaper
Inside is £1.79
https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/INSIDE-1395727.html
Will Nintendo of America follow?
Enormous sale? Yeah about that...
Contra Rogue Corps reduced from £39 to £1.99?! 95% off... Is it worth it at that price? (Nintendo Life gave it 4/10)
Cruis'n Blast is in the sale! £19.99... Can't decide between that and Sonic Colors Ultimate.
@dew12333 Its not many though, its every. Every single company discounts games. The ONLY one that doesn't is Nintendo. COD keeps its value high but even they have sales quite often to promote people to join in and promote the title. Smash Bros Ultimate came out in Dec 2018, never once has it gone on sale. 3 years and not once.
It's just Nintendo being greedy. Hell, the WIi U was a flop but from day 1 to the end they still charged full price for titled. Even now the list price for those games is still full retail.
I work in corporate retail, directly with a buyer an a Nintendo rep and we know how it works. The most annoying part is that when they do a sale its always the same games. Why only pick the same 4 of 5 games every single time.
@earthinheritor Companies put things on sale to move product... if they didn't need to, they wouldn't... Nintendo doesn't need to.
We need to get a basic Economics course into our school system curriculum.
Everyone always moans about the sales but every year I pick up at least half a dozen games in the black-friday-ish discounts. Wolfenstein, Quake, FEZ, Grindstone, Master Blaster, Flinthook and OkunoKA Madness for less than £40. No complaints here.
just a few games from my wishlist discounted :// ...ASTRAL CHAIN only 33% ...
@WoomyNNYes I initially skipped it, but when I picked it up later (physical gold edition, for the price of the dlc) it became instantly one of my favourite games for as long as two runs lasted, and I'm really looking forward to the sequel. I feel like the developers and creative minds behind the project truly loved and appreciated what they did and what they were working with. And an opera singing phantom rabbit making fun of Mario, a boss theme that really stuck with me,... truly one of the greats.
Hades, Cruisn Blast, Doom, Wolfenstein 2, Wolfenstein Youngblood, Bulletstorm, Burnout Paradise, Ninja Warriors Again, Panzer Paladin….so many great titles
Dragon Quest 11 is at it's lowest price, time to buy it.
Nothing for me in this sale... The PSN Black Friday sale on the other hand, that's the one that looks to be where my money will be going instead (so long as the discounts of the listed games are good).
No Nintendo game beyond 33%? You don't say!
Is this not going live in NA?
@BlackenedHalo Nintendo first party and Nintendo published games don't drop more than 33%, pretty much ever. There are other publishers who generally don't drop more than 50% either.
@earthinheritor working in corporate retail =/= understanding of pricing and corporate strategy though I'll expect you'll have a better understanding of the physical sales chain than most gamers.
Netizens like to complain about Nintendo's pricing and corporate strategies but their software pricing strategy hasn't failed them. It's even slightly more refined compared to their previous generations (albeit, I wish they expanded further on their Wii U-era idea of discounts if you already own a particular title)
@NintendoByNature probably much later. Maybe next week.
Great sale! Unfortunatly theres no games there on my wish list. Maybe next time!
@Perryg92 when does psn bf sale go live?
@NoTinderLife you wont regret it! Great game!
@ian_beale This is the kind of comment I've been looking for! Enjoy!
@thenewguy unfortunately doesn't say in the PS blog post. Here's the full article :
https://blog.playstation.com/2021/11/18/playstations-black-friday-deals-2021/
Meh. Target had way better prices when they had Switch games 33% off and offered another 40% off with coupon a few weeks ago.
@earthinheritor
at least your money is well invested/s cough codename: steam cough
@JokerCK darn 😕
@jsty3105 I agree they should expand on the Wii U remasters but again charging full price for them is just pure greed.
Just look at Mario Kart. they did virtually nothing to it but charged full price. But they used a whole new engine for Xenoblade and added a new area and charged the same.
Charging full price for an old game while doing the bare minimum is pretty crappy.
And yes it works for them but they wouldnt loose money if they put different games on sale ones a year.
For example, i have no intention on buying Pokemon Sword or Shield. But if it goes on sale I'll buy it and im not alone. The whole point is to promote older games.
Charging full price for a 3+ years old game is insane.
If you bought anything else that old for the same price it would be stupid.
@Poco_Lypso I couldnt even remember that game. What's your point?
I had to google it
@earthinheritor you may not be alone in waiting for a sale on Pokemon but given the numbers it sells, you're in the relative minority. For Nintendo, it's important to understand that value doesn't decrease with age. That's been part of their DNA for decades now. They view their software product VERY differently to others.
I'd have preferred more content in Mario Kart 8 deluxe coz, as you pointed out, there aren't that many discernible differences compared to the Wii U release (which is a key reason why I haven't bought it myself). The key ones off the top of my head were the resolution, the battle mode, 200cc (essentially the hardcore mode), and a kid friendly mode. It may not be that helpful to you but like it or not, Nintendo doesn't normally change the valuation for individual titles due to their pricing strategy.
I've never personally been fond of the deep discounting model despite me being a consumer. I don't think it's sustainable. It's also why games nowadays are filled with microtransactions. Money HAS to be be made one way or another.
@earthinheritor even nintendo will discount games which don't sell
@Poco_Lypso Codename Steam is a particularly crazy outlier. Valued at £35 by Nintendo and about £5 by retailers
@Poco_Lypso Not for first party games. When was the last time anyone talked about Arms?
2017 still full price.
Snipper clips, totally dead, full price, 2017.
Even if the games are dead and dont sell Nintendo never drops the price.
First party Wii U games where still full price even after Nintendo admitted its a dead system.
Thats my issue, if the games are dead then you drop the price to boost interest. Its how ALL retail works so why hasnt Nintendo got that message.
Its a sign that they artificially price games high when theres no reason.
Mario Kart 8 is a 7 year old game.
The Switch version is just the same game with the same DLC and its still full price. That seems normal to you?
A 7 year old game that very rarely goes on sale is still full price and its from the previous generation? If you dont see whats wrong with that then you might be missing something.
@jsty3105 The discount model is how all retail works. Demand declines, you put it on sale to promote more sales. I work in that field, its standard for every single market.
If a 7 year old car was priced the same as it was on day 1 no one would ever buy it.
We know it's sustainable because its been happening since the days of the Atari 2600 40+ years ago, even those games went on sale.
Theres no other industry or company i can think of that doesn't have sales or discount prices on older product, not one.
And thats what i mean when i say they artificially keep their value. Games on other system continue to sell even with sales and discounts. Nintendo games only show high numbers because most people know the games wont go on sale.
That's what's artificial about it, Nintendo force it to keep the value. Its just market manipulation.
Nothing illegal about it but its sure as hell as greedy and manipulative of the consumer.
@earthinheritor "Nintendo games only show high numbers because most people know the games wont go on sale" - that shows their pricing strategy works.
Crazy to think, nay, believe this is artificial. Come to think of it - it's also false to say Nintendo doesn't discount it's games. They clearly do. Just not as much as you hope. I reckon the reason Smash hasn't been discounted yet is because the last DLC pack was only recently released. Also it's still selling very well - https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2021/11/here-are-the-top-ten-best-selling-nintendo-switch-games-as-of-september-2021
The closest but imperfect analogy to Nintendo pricing strategy is Nintendo treats it's software like Apple treats it's hardware. It's an imperfect analogy because hardware technology moves much quicker but it's the closest because Apple has a reputation built up over years and years that they never do deep discounts.
@HolyGeez03 "We need to get a basic Economics course into our school system curriculum." What you said in your comment is also part of Marketing 101.
@earthinheritor Except for art and real estate (just off the top of my head), which are pretty big contradictions to your assertion.
24 games on my Wishlist and not a single one on sale! Nice!
Both Criterion racing games are on sales!
Need for speed: Hot pursuit and Burnout Paradise.
@earthinheritor I'm a bookseller and while books do go on sale, and at some places are sold at a discount, it's not because of their age. But bookselling is unique in that if a book doesn't sell I can send it back to the publisher for a full refund. I forego the chance at a profit (and lose a bit of money on shipping), but if your store is small enough, like mine, you don't want to dedicate room to lower-profit-margin items (sale items), which didn't do well to begin with. Old books still sell for full price.
@ian_beale Great list! For that price, those games are a bargain.
@NinjaNicky I think there are a few (albeit VERY few) instances where the eShop is the cheapest place to buy a particular game.
Until the Steam Deck comes, there's still no affordable way to do gaming on the go. Even once the Steam Deck releases, the price isn't that low considering you'll almost certainly require a crap ton of extra storage thanks to the insane game install sizes of the big releases. The Steam Deck also won't play every game (though it should at least play the most popular games on Steam)
Any word on when this goes live stateside?
@earthinheritor
I get that point and I would prefer it the other way round. But tbt if Nintendo was to follow general retail practice then I would NEVER buy a game day01. It's not even about the money saved, my backlog is huge and getting a game day01 or 3 months/6months later doesn't make a difference for me. So I try to look at the bright side: buying a game day01 or 2 years later doesn't make a difference when it comes to money spend, the price will remain the same. It might look like artificially increasing (or rather keeping) value but then it also makes these things more desirable or special, at least to me.
@NoTinderLife You can't go wrong with that game, it was definitely worth full price when it came out...
@NRLPLSTCTY I would have paid $100 for dark souls on switch. I’ve logged 1000s of hours between switch and ps3. Would pay anything to have rest of series on switch. My son and I are playing our 5th play through together, going for 7.
Patiently waiting on Nintendo’s Black Friday Bunduru in America.
Just got Ion Fury, hyped to play it
@The-Chosen-one i'd like to see hyrule warriors for more than 33% off in a store.
@Donutman holy smokes! I found a guy selling it for $15 on kijiji but wayyyyyy down south. I will probably cave and spend the $50 before long. Cant wait to see what my daughter will think of this series when she comes of age.
@Perryg92 thank you!!
@Neckcrane oh man, EU only?
Please stop listing the name of the game and percentage discounted. Tell us the price! I'm off to dekudeals now.
@KnightRider666
I check every week myself. Btw, have you tried out Vendetta? It’s really good!
@BanjoPickles I have it, it's okay. I really want kung fu master arcade though. Side note: Phozon comes out today!
If you haven’t already, make sure you pick up Slay the Spire in the sale. Will be the best money you’ve ever spent
Should a system have thousands of games? Seems overkill.
I went for Taiko no Tatsujin. Already had the game physical, but i was a real hassle to find the game on the go for just a couple of songs. Yeah it is a luxury problem, but it was almost for free with the amount of Gold coins I had left.
I can't decide if Tetris Effect is worth getting or if the free Tetris online is enough for me. Any feedback, guys? I love Tetris but not totally nuts to play 2 or 3 different versions
@rjejr
You’re not a history buff, I take it?
@NRLPLSTCTY got it this time
Capcom Arcade isn't cheap enough. Will wait for summer sale.
bought long dark for just 6.85 £ combining sale discount +golde point, is the best survival game, with multiple difficulty levels including a custom one, amazing atmosphere, and the deepest games mechanics ever, and with the tons of staff offering including 9 maps (a 10 will arrive later developer are still adding staff and events) is a total bargain, and bad way apart the downgrade (which is not bad at all ) the port is amazingly done , framerate is stable a 30 and no bugs
Picked up Wargroove and Northgard. Tempted to get Children of Morta...
Picked up Xeno Crisis its the first time I've seen the game on offer. Also bought Castlevania Advance Collection, Duke Nukem 3d, Demons Of Asteborg from the sale. Also got Metroid Dread & Little Nightmares 2 physical in the last week.
@BaronMunchausen Well my days of going out and about in the buff are history, if that's what you mean.
I think that might be Alex bottom right. 😂
@rjejr
Lol!
On the US eShop, DQXIS is just $15 off from $49.99. It's not steep enough of a discount for me to get it, but I do want it! I'm happy with the other digital purchases I made for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, though!
Looks like Tony hawks not on sale anymore. I was just about to get it. That blows.
I would of bought a hell of lot more games if the switch eshop wasn’t such a major pain in the ass to navigate!!!
I only bought Wargroove and Immortal Fenyx psychical release and Inside through the eShop. I was considering buying Skyrim through the eShop but in the end I still think the prices for some Switch games are I just too much for such old games... Even the 1st party games are still too expensive with the same 33% discount, lol.
@BanjoPickles There are some ACA arcade archives on sale right now, go check them out!
