As has become something of a tradition at this point, Nintendo has shared its usual infographic showcasing all the games that were featured in last week's Nintendo Direct presentation.
If you're keen on getting these downloaded and circling all of your favourites to share on social media, get the image saved and have some fun. Lots of exciting games were included in the show, including the likes of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Bayonetta 3, as well as all of the Nintendo Switch Online additions, of course!
If you want to learn more about all of these games and relive their announcements during the show, we have you covered with our full Nintendo Direct September Round-Up.
Which games from that list are you most hyped for? Fire away in the comments...

Love how there's something for everyone.
Also, side note: Really excited for Triangle Strategy... I'm hoping for a title change though since it sounds really bland.
THB, the only three games listed that I care about are Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and the update for ACNH. Beyond that I really don’t care.
It's such a difference from the Wii U days when there would be like 6 games on one of these things.
Splatoon 3
- My friend nagged/encouraged me to try Splatoon 2. I tried it. And then it became one of my favorite games.
Right now I am definitely getting Mario Party, Dread, and Forgotten Land.
I am still budgeting for releases from earlier in the year. My bank account is withering away.
Certainties: Splatoon 3! Kirby and the Forgotten Land! Bayonetta 3! Metroid Dread!
Most likely somewhere down the line: Mario Party Superstars, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, Chocobo GP.
Maybe/depends: Wreckfest, Triangle Strategy, NSO Expansion.
The rest: either DLC that I already have paid for or have no interest in, or new games I have little to no interest in.
Personally, looking forward for :
Super Rush has become one of my favorite sports games, these updates just make it better.
Lots of good stuff.
I'm just ready for the point in 2022 (probably April or May) when everyone is mad that we don't know the rest of the 2022 lineup.
As for that infographic, I want SMT V, Metroid Dread, and Bayonetta 3. Also, Rune Factory and Kirby look awesome. The timing of infographics like this suggests Nintendo really is treating the Switch like it does its handhelds, and I'm all for it.
Metroid Dread, Kirby & the Forgotten Land, Castlevania Advance Collection for sure.
Also will look into SMTV & Chocobo GP.
@Tom-Smo did not show all of those though. Also thinking about Nick, Monkey Ball and Mario Party Superstars
Looking forward to almost all of them. Except for the Disney and Rune Factory stuff.
@Ryu_Niiyama Yep same. Also should give proper attention to my backlog. But know I'm going to end up dumping cash i don't have on at least Splatoon 3, Dread, Bayo 3, Kirby, KOTOR, Disco E and Deltarune.
Something for just about anyone. The sad thing is, some people will still say "Switch has no games". I think they're either trolls or just salty at this point.
@Tyranexx what they really mean is “Switch doesn’t have the casual audience AAA releases that the other platforms have”. Nintendo has always catered more toward core gamers. Casuals just don’t like to call themselves what they are while they play the same shooters and sports games over and over.
everything except chocobo gp and disney magical world
Metroid Dread, Bayo 3, Splatoon 3 and Kirby for me.
the best part is this isnt even everything for next year!
bayo 3, splat 3, botw 2, pokemon legends and m+r 2 means next year is gonna be a straight banger
My F-Zero fanboyism is preventing me from caring dam it.
Still getting monkey ball & Metroid though.
With Splatoon 2, along with the N64 and Genesis games, I might actually have a reason to renew my NSO subscription again.
@Omario my backlog looks like the game of thrones throne at this point. I have been trying to game more but I feel like the monster only grows.
Well hey there, it's me again - overly picky gamer girl. Soooooooo this is is just pictures of the direct! They used to build out a schedule and sometimes you would get sneak announcements or confirmations for other games we knew about. I came here looking for some news about Outer Wilds, but I understand that I set myself up for failure here huh?
Nothing I'm really interested in except dying light 2 but I'm not going to buy a cloud game
@Ryu_Niiyama Hahahahahahah it's funny because it's true...
I'm very visually oriented and really enjoy these graphics but putting out this one as is with no release dates, and limited to this past Direct, seems kind of "why bother?". If you watched the Direct you know what was in it, and even if you didn't watch it you probably know by now. But having an info graphic with all the upcoming games with dates - like the Pokémon games, and BotW2 - let's one plan their gaming and spending.
So I like it, but only as much as the effort they put into it, which seems minimal. 🤷♂️
@Donutsavant outer wilds still doesn’t have a set release date, I afraid.
@GrailUK Oh I know. I’ll be whining about how I was robbed but left with games after Black Friday. If it’s as bad as last year (65 games and two systems) I’m taking a year off from buying. I feel like I’ve said that before. Anybody quit cold turkey?
Aside Splatoon, not a single game interest me in this list...
The following games are all on my radar...
Castlevania Advance Collection
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Mario Party Superstars
Metroid Dread
On top of that free Mario Golf DLC (yay), Hyrule Warriors DLC (Double yay), and kinda intriguing with the Aninal Crossing stuff.
Kirby, NSO Expansion pack, Dread, and Smash.
Obviously it's pacman like come on.
But for real switch online and deltarune
Kirby, Dread, Deltarune, ActRaiser.
Some good tuff in there!
Metroid Dread & Nintendy Sixty Fooooouuurrrrr!!!!!!
SMT V, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Dread, Kirby and Splatoon 3.
EDT: Thought they would have put Dying Light: Platinum Edition up there, too.
Kirby and the forgotten land was THE top reveal here. Blew everything else away.
Metroid Dread is the only thing that matters to me right now. I still can't believe they revived it after all these years, back when I had completely given up on ever seeing it!!
After that, everything else that I care about just feels like "2022 TBD" other than Pokemon obviously, and 1st party content updates like Animal Crossing and Smash.
Still interested in trying out the Voice of Cards demo however! That game feels right up my alley, at least... as long as it doesn't get too twisted and grisly ala Yoko Taro...
I enjoy Super Rush, so the free dlc is a nice, and welcome addition. I'm looking forward to Dread, MP Superstars, and the Switch port of KotOR. Also, I'll be keeping eyes on Kirby. Edit: Also, I'm interested in the Final Smash dlc. That's a good name for it
The NSO expansion pack will be nice. I do wonder about the price kick, and how soon before Nintendo releases new hardware. I'm satisfied with my Switch, I enjoy it as often as possible, and I'm not saying I want new hardware. It's just that the N64 library shown seems like an exact duplicate of the Wii/WU Virtual Console library, and the Switch is about 4, & 1/2 yrs old. Unless Nintendo is going to keep consistent with what they mentioned a few years ago about prolonging the Switch lifespan, I get this feeling of a potential new machine in a few years worth of time. Nintendo has been very slow to add N64 games. If the price is right, I'll bite on the sub upgrade. Like I said, I thoroughly enjoy my Switch, and I am in no way wanting a new console.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched both splatoon 3 trailers, can’t wait for that one. Voice of Cards is interesting, the demo has mostly sold it on me but I think for this type of game the script will be the make it or break it component. Here’s hoping it’s something special.
Other than that Kirby looks interesting, never played one but it looks like they’re really going for it with this one, I’ll be keeping an eye on it. Didn’t watch the trailer for Metroid because I’m already about as sold on it as can be. Hyrule warriors dlc was brief but interesting. I think I’ll wait for the remake of kotor (but maybe not),
And bayonetta looks great but I’m still yet to play the second.
@Timptation The irony is the Switch has plenty of content like that as well, just not the latest and greatest sports or FPS game of the month. (Or it's a "legacy" edition, according to EA's marketing).
I do think some of it is just tribal fan boy/girlism though. I certainly prefer some platforms over others and will give constructive criticism when it's due. However, I don't see the point in bashing platforms/consoles I dislike.
Most excited for Splatoon 3.
Interested to learn more about Voice of Cards.
Also looking forward to the upcoming ACNH update.
Sad that Pilotwings or Wave Race weren't listed with the other N64 titles coming to NSO.
Nice "Infographic".. LOL!
All it needs is some actual.. .you know.. what do you call it... Info...
Triangle Strategy,
Shin Megami Tensei V,
Disco Elysium,
Shadowrun Trilogy.
After playing the demo for Voice of Cards I'm very excited for it! I'll pick that up for sure.
@thehoppypoppy There's a demo for Voice of Cards and I loved it.
Animal Crossing and Smash Bros were hardly featured in that Direct lol
Excited for:kirby, disco elysium, triangle strategy, shadowrun, rune factory 5 and actraiser.
Already invested in so will get DLC: monster hunter, HW:AoC, AC, and smash.
Patiently waiting on: Bayo 3, SMTV, KOTOR, metroid, NSO, and mario party.
Buying but less excited for: chocobo gp, disney magical world 2, voice of cards, hot wheels, splatoon 3 and castlevania.
