@BoyfriendOfDeath Bowser isn't called God Slayer Bowser in this new expansion, he is just called Fury Bowser in both English and Japanese.

day one, I have 3 kids, multi player on this game is so good!!

Looks like it uses the Mario Odyssey engine. Maybe was going to be DLC originally.

@Clyde_Radcliffe what makes you think it uses the odyssey engine?

Really disappointed that the 3D world offers 4 player and yet the bolt on bowsers fury only offers single player with co-op assist.

@HamatoYoshi Just how the graphics look, the level design and on the original reveal trailer it used identical rain-on-camera effects to the New Donk City nighttime intro. It looks much more like Mario Odyssey than 3D World.

I have noticed with Nintendo first party games, the graphics always look miles better than they actually are in game. To be honest, I do not know how they get away with it. One of the biggest cons in gaming at the moment.

@teamdoa Have you tried turning your television on? There was a massive boost to graphical fidelity when I did that.

Fleeing Fury Bowser on the back of Plessie should be epic.

I'm still hoping Plessie goes Giga and they just haven't showed us yet. Giga Cat Mario may be able to handle Fury Bowser but cats can't swim and there's a lot of water in that world.

I think I had enough of Mario this generation, they are taking it a bit too far. If they would add Yoshi at least...

@The-Chosen-one yes, despite most people's belief to the contrary Wii U looked about the same as switch but just wasn't portable. I still think Xenoblade X is the best looking Xenoblade in the series, not my favorite but best looking.

I know there is co-op in this game but has there been any mention if it includes online or local wireless co-op?

I ordered this port. But it is kinda annoying that Nintendo treats their ports as maingames. I would rather have seen some new games...

@sandman89 The screen shots always look manipulated to me to make them look better than they actually are in game. I thought I made that pretty clear in my original post.

@teamdoa in odyssey for example if you take a picture it’s at a higher resolution than playing the game.

Anyone else think Bowser Fury was originally DLC for the WiiU, but they are now just adding it to Switch version as a new addition?Not complaining as never had a WiiU but makes sense?

I'm sorry, but I cannot describe how factually wrong that statement is.

@Chris55 I don’t think so, if it’s true that this is the same engine as Odyssey. If anything, maybe they considered this as DLC for Odyssey but changed their mind and tailored it for this to encourage loyal fans to buy again.

@Kalmaro It's a first party Mario game by Nintendo!! You'll be lucky if it ever drops down by 5 £/$, never mind it ever going on sale. The only Mario game that's had a worthy sale price in recent years has been Mario + Rabbids & that's only because it was made by Ubisoft.

Well, Nintendo isn't juggling two consoles anymore. I'm very curious to see if that translates into a shift we the consumers will notice. Granted, pandemic is probably hindering that.

@Chris55 It feels more like it was Odyssey DLC but it was scrapped and then turned into Bowser's Fury so 3D World wouldn't feel like just a straight port of the original with nothing added.

Originally I was not gonna double dip but then.... cats happened.

@Slasher @teamdoa has a point to be fair. The graphics have definitely been cleaned up, no aliasing. Also, if you zoom into the images, they are a lot sharper than when you zoom in with the Home button while playing a game.

Other publishers do the same though, it's nothing new.

Depends on what TV you have, if playing on those 90s screens, the graphics look horrible 🤣.

No but i have a 4K TV and the games still look stunning. As in the pictures.

It looks great but I'll wait for reviews to see how substantial the add on is. I've got this for Wii U and whilst its an amazing game, I see little reason to buy it again at full price
