I really want Wolfenstein. Am I going to pay fifty quid?
Am I?
Nnng.
Maybe.
Nice new way of showing the special offers!
Can't wait to play hello kitty kruisers tonight!
YES. MORE PICROSS!
Can't have too much picross
I refuse to pay 50 quid for a game I can get got less than 20 on other systems. Also when are the eshop sales actually going to be worth it🤔 I picked up Pac-Man championship edition 2 on ps store for about three quid the other day. The complete Mega Man collection- that’s 1 and 2- can be bought for 8 pounds on there. It is very rare there is an actual real bargain on the Nintendo store.
Another Neo geo game for me then.
@Dom Where's the Crash review? I'm getting the game, but I also wanted your verdict.
Will take a look at the new Picross game. I'm not into Sanrio but I love Picross. Also, if we can get this one, I suppose there's still hope for the Final Fantasy one.
Cool, like the offers table too. Good to see Limbo on a Nintendo system. Nothing for me this week. Still trying to get off 1st floor of Monkey Tavern
Why are these articles specific to the eShop?
Why is it "What are you downloading this week?"?
I don't feel welcome as someone who always goes for the physical version when I can.
I love that crash bandicoot is out on Nintendo. I remember it as the game that wasn't Mario 64. The 3d in it never felt right. Like you were stuck in 2d platformer that could rotate in the third dimension. Where as Mario 64 made me eat 2 minute noodles for a month so I could afford an N64. That was after playing the demo for five minutes. Crash was trash.
Yep, good job with the formatting on the special offers! Nicely laid out. As for this week, I'm still wrestling with how much I want Ys VIII. I really don't want to add 40-50 hours to my gaming backlog, but I want the game - and I also want more Falcom support for the Switch...
As others have said, nice formating on the special offers!
Oh man...
N Sane Trilogy
Wolfenstein
Inside
Ys 8
and maybe Lumines
It would be quicker to hit my wallet with a tactical nuke.
I don't have much money until July (almost there! ), so I'll just buy the Switch version of Limbo and replay that.
BUT I'M SO EXCITED TO FINALLY PLAY INSIDE!!!!
@Rhaoulos These articles are based on the weekly eShop press release from Nintendo, that's why they are specifically about eShop releases.
NL sometimes do 'upcoming games' style articles about retail releases but not weekly. Bear in mind that there are far fewer retail releases anyway.
Doesn't Ghost 1.0 come out soon too?
*Edit, July
That's a lot of intriguing full price releases to coincide with the Steam Summer sales... Wholeheartedly recommend Inside to anyone Interested!
Want to support Wolfenstein on Switch but I want to play New Order first... An unfortunate Catch 22
finally animal crossing is a select title here toooo
Any news on caveman ninja?
@Krull i know what you feel. I am glad i have finished XC2 and Zelda and thought i would have the time for a new time sink adventure but it seems i already have one with Hollow Knight. And with upcoming releases like dark Souls and monster hunter coming months i need to slow down a bit (but it is so nice to have those nice thumbnails on the selection screen on your switch with all the options you could do )
What a week! The best so far in 2018!
Ys VIII, Wolfestein 2 and Crash Bandicoot will eventually come home for sure. We need to support third parties with quality titles like these ones!
I really like this format. Easier to work out the value of deals.
I've got Lumo physical already and will probably get Figment while it's 20% off. Waiting on a full collection and better price for The Journey Down. Waiting for a price cut/sale on Crash, no rush. Limbo and Inside are on the wishlist and will get those at some point.
With so much to play, prioritising things on sale. Already have more than enough to be getting on with.
Not a bad week, but nothing for me. I already finished Wolfenstein II, Limbo and Inside on the PC. What I find a bit insulting though is De Blob costing €30. It's a Wii game!!! I pulled it from the bargain bin for €6, just a few months after it's initial release. It's not a bad game, but waaaay too expensive for the Switch.
crash bandicoot <333333 my all time favourite. I know I am biased cuz nostalgia but I highly recommend it!
Expensive week this week. Crash, Wolfenstein, Inside and maybe Limbo. Bye bye money.
it would be really nice if you could add another 2 columns with game rating and your review rating for offers
Just had my first play of Crash in roughly 15 or so years, and very quickly was reminded of how utterly rubbish I am at timing the spins in that game!! “Woooaaah!” he screams, repeatedly, as he smashes headfirst into oncoming enemies,
This is a very strong week for new Switch games.
So is Crash getting a physical release? If so I’m in
@dystome You could just buy the PC version, which is far superior to the Switch port, and is currently £16 on Steam.
Sanrio Picross (lol) and Crash for me. I'll consider importing the separate retail releases of the Megaman X collections from Japan (bear in mind that the retail double pack only includes a download code for the second game).
I want Wolfenstein II so badly (despite the scummy partial-cartridge release). At least I could back up the extra data for prosperity... I hope, which is a slight consolation, but I have little desire to reward Bethesda for producing only half of the game on cartridge. They already betrayed my goodwill with DOOM, which gobbled up 8GB of space.
Considering that they've cheaped out on the cartridge, they may as well have launched the Switch version at the current sale price of the game on other platforms.
I'll wait until both Wolfenstein and L.A. Noire drop to about AU$20 before I bite. Those two games collectively will be consuming around 20GB of my microSD's storage, which is absolutely ridiculous (and adds to the cost when I would rather spend that money on a bigger cartridge).
@Mopati Exactly what I thought.
Anyways, got the Physical Crash yesterday, so have been playing that (forgot how precise you had to be with jumps) but loving it.
Will get Inside and Limbo when they are on offer (as on iOS Inside is £6.99 and Limbo is £3.99) if there was a collection of both on physical I would snap it up
Quite a few nice releases this week.
@chardir
It was just about the poll title phrasing. Saying "What are you Buying this week?" instead of downloading would completely solve my pedantic problem
I am confused about the new Picross. Picross is a Nintendo license and this is made by Jupiter. Soooo, this is a official Picross, not some knock-off? I am not into San Rio characters, but if its a official Picross I might still get it. Even if the features-list just sounds like any Picross e-title (minus the stickers of course, this game has the usual suspects. Picross, Mega-picross and Micro-picross).
