The current Comic-Con event in San Diego is always good for some surprise reveals, and this one certainly qualifies. Namco Bandai has confirmed that a brawler based on Power Rangers Megaforce is coming to the 3DS in North America and Europe this Fall. It's morphin' time.
While we like to harp on about Nintendo franchises that have stood the test of time, some of the older members of the Nintendo Life team remember when the Power Rangers were wearing cheap outfits and battling over miniaturized cities way back in the '90s, and it's still going. Based on the trailer for this new title below it looks like not much has changed, and as a brawler the footage looks unexceptional but — nevertheless — could be rather fun. With titles like this, it's not easy to tell.
Still, the tagline that Namco Bandai Europe has adopted is "save the world with your 3DS"; well, who could say no to that?

As long as Super Sentai is big in Japan and Power Rangers conversions are cheap and popular enough, there will always be Power Rangers TV shows, toys and games.
So it begins....

The return of shovel-ware
It doesn't look that great. But one doesn't know for sure.
Eh, I'll pass on this one. I'd much rather stick with the show and toys.
eh sounds alright i guess miss watching the shows xD
Nah,I think I'll pass.
My 5yr old loves all those crappy power ranger games
I like beat em ups, so a maybe if it's priced right. It's hard to keep up with Power Rangers though, its new every season now >< I thought they where still on Super Samurai, but now Megaforce?!?
Super Legends was a great idea, but boring as heck.
Here's hoping that this isn't more of the same...
As one of the seemingly-few Tensou Sentai Goseiger fans...
I won't be buying this, ^_^;; I really don't want to see the cruel things they've done to one of my favorite show...
I'll stick to watching the original Power Rangers on Netflix.
