Has anyone gotten their Amazon pre-order code yet? They've tried screwing me out of codes in the past so I want to know if I should get ready to pick a fight with them or wait a bit longer.
@Psycho-Werekitsune I haven't gotten mine yet.
@BooJoh @Psycho-Werekitsune According to Amazon when Talked to them. They Currently Do not have any More Codes to Give out and said that they are working on Securing more Codes but Doubt they will be able to get any more before the expire Time is up
@Lizzyroo May is four months away, how could they possibly not be able to secure enough until then?
@Psycho-Werekitsune I received my code the morning of release.
@ShikabaneHime13 time to go pick a fight then.
Aww I bought from Amazon UK and didn't get a Garchomp code
Still think Sword shield people should have gotten a code.
@Psycho-Werekitsune @Lizzyroo I tried Amazon support and they told me:
"I'm afraid that there is currently a technical issue from the game developers end, few codes for few order have not been sent, so in this case, it would be suggestible to contact the game developer as they will issue a new code for you right away."
Then they linked me to NOA's support page., then NOA support told me:
"I'm afraid that since the code was offered by Amazon, they are the ones who will have to provide the code." and "That's unacceptable that they would sell more codes than were available. You could always reach out to the BBB if Amazon will not provide the code."
Nothing like a good old-fashioned game of blame shifting from corporations that results in the customer being SOL.
@BooJoh Wait, what's BBB?
Also, I reached out to Amazon support and the spiel they gave me was that it's an unforseen issue that they're escalating to a higher level of support and for me to wait 24 to 48 hours to see if anything changes. It's been 24, so after tomorrow I'll be sure to poke them again.
This is like the second or third time Amazon tried screwing me out of a pre-order code. Last time was for Monster Hunter Stories 2, and I had to go directly to Capcom to get it resolved, which thankfully they did. All I needed was a proof of purchase. It's a shame Nintendo isn't doing the same.
BBB is the Better Business Bureau. They're a non-profit who scores businesses based on trustworthiness, etc.
@BooJoh that's such a lousy response, how's that going to solve your problem? Nintendo literally has the authority in this situation, they could easily provide you with a code. What a load of bull.
Guess I'm not the only one to not receive a code from amazon.
Edit: I just scoured my emails from amazon. I found the code in an email titled: "Here's your promotional credit from your recent Amazon order". Hope this may help someone.
eShop should give these free for just buying the game.
In Spain, when you booked the game in the Game store, they gave you the code for the garchomp kimono set, just saying.
@Regs just checked and natch. This really blows.
I ordered with amazon and only got the heavy ball set. I guess this article just has them flipped?
@Long_Johnson Amazon where? I think that was Nintendo eShop. No Amazon I know or saw during PreOrder had that.

@Ogbert Aww I bought from Amazon UK and didn't get a Garchomp code
That was only through Amazon USA and Amazon Japan only. I don't recall seeing that for Amazon UK or any other EU seller. So I doubt you will get further on this one. There is a site if I can find it that clearly list where Garchmop code was only throught USA and Japan Amazon.

@Ogbert ooooooooooooooooooooooof
@BooJoh mom saying ask dad and dad saying ask mom.... it means "no" in coward. Xp
