Review TV Show King 2 (WiiWare)
A significant improvement over a trivial predecessor.
One of the very first Wiiware titles at launch gets a much-needed sequel in TV Show King 2. The original was a decent trivia vehicle that we thought was okay, if somewhat overpriced for what it offered. There was so much room for improvement that we were glad this got a second chance. But is...

Nintendo Download 25 December 2009 (EU)
Not much in the Wii's stocking this year, but DSiWare users must have been very good indeed!
Well, after North America's big release Monday this week, it has to be said that Nintendo of Europe are coming off a little like Ebenezer Scrooge with this week's European download offerings on the Wii: just two WiiWare offerings and no Virtual Console...

Yes, indeed. Can't wait to see how much this differs from the original.
The original was great please make an option for removing the cutscenes =O
Removing the wheel should also be possible it felt rediculous when luck always decide the round! plus new questions and I gladly pay 1000 points! =)
CAN'T WAIT!!!
The first one was excellent. It didn't get the credit it deserved imho. Can't wait for the next one though I wonder what are they actually going to do different or extra this time?
Great! I will be getting this one.Look forward to the online gaming option this one is going to have.
i agree with the handsome boomface 123

So I looked it up.
There is also an incorrect answer choice that lists "pot" as a special ingredient for a fictional beverage.
If its an incorrect answer then why did it have to be that in particular?
Just got this tonight - already played through the offline version once. I loved the first one, and this one's additions make the 800 Wii points seem like a steal sure enough. I'm not going to try and outwrite / outblog the review that will be coming soon enough, but I'll be really surprised if it's not a 9 or 10 out of 10; well, ok, I'll settle for 8, but anything less is not being fair nor truthful. They've stuffed this one full of extras and it runs rings around the first game.
The brief description says "...or play online with WiFi connection".
Is that with Wii FRIENDS online (or, just random)?
If (hopefully) friends, does it use Friend Code for this?
Thanks !!
@ Merlin777
Its friends and random. You can even do multiple people per console playing online. Also you can download free user created question packs. Definitely a great $8 purchase.
@AlmightyDerek
GREAT..... I'll get it for me, and "gift" it for my out-of-town brother this afternoon !!
Question: Your self made question, can you onlt sumbit them or can you use them in your own game too?
This is absolutely a very fun game. It's almost a must-have for all Americans and English people. But people (like me) who do not speak English at home, is it very hard to play this game with your little brother/sister or with your parents and friends, because most of this people doesn't understand English...
So, I have bought this game and I love it! It's only too bad that there is no Dutch version (TV Show King 1 was Dutch!), so I think that's something to improve in the (hopefully) upcoming TV Show King 3
I downloaded this and its very fun and great for family game night. Easily worth the 800 points they are asking.
