This games isn't bad. I read reviews for it before buying it. It has a 49 on Metacritic. However, it was on sale for cheap, and I like match-3 games, so I still gave it a shot.
The pros are, you can "Power up" after each match 3 battle. I also like that the matching tile doesn't have to be directly beside where you match. That gives more strategy. As risque for risque sake the story is, it's still fun to have a story for match 3. The fact it has four distinct endings is cool too.
For the negative, I really wish that each story was longer, or that when you get to an ending, you can continue on with your already powered up character.
At $5, if they came out with a sequel, I would buy it day one. I liked the art style, and 80% of the voice acting is great. I never thought I would use this sentence, but...
If you're looking for an adult oriented Match 3 game, this is the game for you!
@SoIDecidedTo You're the only here who gave this game a review. I liked the demo, the comic book style was really interesting. I may get this game.
@CerberusDarkone I still pick this up and play it from time to time if I want something to kill 20 minutes. I like match 3 games, and most of them you have to only move a token one spot either left, right, up, or down. I found this to be a cool idea to be able to move from anywhere on the board across.
My major complaint is that once you beat the game, you can't keep that character that is powered up and take him through the next play through. I think it would be really cool if after getting the 4 endings, there was another mode that allowed you play through for a Fifth ending with all the powers you've saved up. It could be harder of course, but would be satisfying. Still would buy a 2nd version.
I think a lot of critics bombed on it just because it shows boobs. But I think that it was done correctly to fit in with the story.
Let me know what you think if you get it!
@SoIDecidedTo Cheers! will do.
@CerberusDarkone Did you ever get it?
@SoIDecidedTo I did, but I haven't played it yet. ..back log.
It's too easy to put off playing short games inbetween longer games. I will get round to it one day.
