News Home Sweet Home Will Scare The Stuffing Out Of Your Switch
Maybe keep the lights on for this one
Yggdrazil Group, developer of first-person horror Home Sweet Home, has announced that it will be porting the game to Nintendo Switch "soon". Cute art style, but the game itself is repetitive and boring. You literally repeat the same chores each day, while using any leftover time you have to make money, so you can repair your appliances in case they break (which they will, at completely random, even when you're not using them) or buy medicine in case you get sick. I don't know if there's even an ending to this game, but I've played for 15 in-game days and nothing seemed to progress beyond the same daily loop.
There also appears to be no in-game menu once you start, so there's no "save and quit"; literally the only way to shut the game down is to use the Home button and quit it from the Switch menu.
