Just started playing this game today. My initial impressions is that at least it's an improvement from The Lost Valley. The terraforming aspect is still a pain in the behind. The Grid System is still annoying to control. But it's thus far still better than the previous Harvest Moon installment. There's actually a town this time, the characters are kind of cute, and I like the "achievements". While this is most certainly not Harvest Moon of old/Story of Seasons, Natsume is looking at a slightly less terrible game this time around. That said, I'm going to power through it anyways! Who am I kidding, I love farming sims and I need something to hold me over till Trio of Towns comes out in 2017.
Where is the pond that I'm supposed to use? Where do I get a rod? I just started playing today too.
Oh...and how do we give stuff to villagers? I'm trying to woo Dean but I cant seem to give him anything.
@cwindham2012 you get it from Bastain when they come to town.
Does anyone know where to get the hammer?
@Pokefanmum82
I haven't gotten it yet. I'm currently working on the 5th Skytree.
do you know where to find a black bass? I need it to get the dog Max better and haven't found one yet
Hammer-Get from Gus when your trying to make the special container for the seedling that you get from Dean AFTER curing his mother.
Black Bass-See the big fishy shadows when your rod is in the water? It'll be one of those, keep trying!
How do we give gifts to people? I'm wooing Dean and trying to give him flowers...
@Pokefanmum82
Try fishing in that little stream just before it turns into that lake. Try for the big fishy shadows.
Seems like Skytree Village is going to be released on 11th May 2017 in Germany.
Can someone tell me if this will work on the 2DS? I know early 3DS games were compatible, but I don't know if Skytree Village is too new. Thanks for the info!
@Minouche all 3ds games work on a 2DS, it's the same system minus the 3D effect
