You Sir, are correct! How many weeks since NA got a VC game?

What did I tell ya?
I guess we're closer than we were because Europe finally got a game since god knows when.
We don't always get games the following week after Europe though.
Adventure Island 2 still hasn't made it here yet and with Hudson dissolving I'm not sure it ever will.

So, Europe has VC games again (congrats, guys, I know your drought has been even longer ). Any predictions on when North America gets a console VC game again? Considering it seems NoA is weeks/months behind other Nintendo branches these days, are we looking at a week, a month, or when Wii U is released?

I really don't even understand the entire Wii VC drought, when there are games ESRB rated and ready to go. One would think with the Wii release drought ahead (except for Xenoblade and Mario Party 9), that Nintendo would see VC as one way of keeping Wii owners happy until Wii U takes over.

When they release games on a consist basis like they once did than I will say its back. Just cause they released one game doesn't mean it's back. IMO it is still dead.

it wouldnt be as dead if they would release titles that we want but know that it would not happen,like how many would like to see killer instinct on vc?

I would trade in our VC (Prince of Persia) for your WW (Stonekeep) this week.

It would be nice but it will never happen. I wish people would quite asking for Killer Instinct and other Rare games to come to the Wii VC.

And why not Tasuki? Donkey Kong Country games are on the VC. Those were publised by Rare.

well i mean the game boy games because where else would they go,the only place really is the 3ds vc

Thats because Nintendo owns the rights to the Donkey Kong characters. Games like Killer Instinct and Battletoads Rare owns all the rights and well because Rare is now owned by MS there is no way they are coming to the Wii VC.

We all know that the Wii VC is dead... But why? The Wii with Nintendo's/Sega's back catalog of awesome games,, it's potential is through the roof! And the Nintendo 20 dollar point card, to buy games, has to put tons of cash in Big N's pockets! Heck, they could even put Gameboy, GBC, GBA, and Gamegear games on Wii VC its not that hard... They would blow Xbox 360 and PS3 out of the water!!! Oh well

I thought the Virtual Console was supposed to get a new game every month or every week, something like that. There are still several games that I would love to see added, namely the GOOD Ninja Turtles games. Seriously, TMNT1 was awful, the worst.

At this point its like complaining why Nintendo stopped supporting the Super Nintendo after the N64 was released.

They could do it but they really don't want to. Their focus has moved on.
