I'm sure it's possible, but there weren't many games that Sega would likely want to bring out, so they may just think it's a waste of time to even bother. I'd love to see it, however.
The Sega CD games I'd like to see (and probably won't) are: Sonic CD, Popful Mail, Lunar Silver Star Story, Lunar Eternal Blue, Vay, Silpheed, and Robo Aleste.
Yeah, same here. A shame really...I'd download Sega CD games on the VC without hesitation. God, what I wouldn't give for Snatcher, Sonic CD and the Adventures of Willy Beamish....nostalgic tear
Releasing Sega CD titles is a horrible idea. 90% of the Sega CD titles either are ports or they suck. In fact, there is only one game I would want to see and that is Sonic CD. In fact, you should go see the AVGN review of it to prove my point. The Sega CD is horrible. And don't get me started on the Sega 32X.
Was Knuckles Chaotix CD or 32X, either way I want it.
@subzerobf Knuckles Chaotix is a 32X game. I have never played it though,is it as good as the classic Sonic games? I would love to see Sonic CD on the VC.
I'd be pleased as punch if they released Shining Force CD. That way, I could sell my original copy along with my Sega CD system and RAM cart. I could make a nice chunk of change and free up some much needed space at the same time.
Knuckles Choatix was orignally going to be Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but the whole tethered to the ring idea in the game didn't sound like a Sonic game. There were other issues as well but I can't think of em. It's a good game. The graphics are good, it's kinda hard to get used to the buddy (tethered) system, the levels are fun to explore, the bonus 3D levels are trippy, and there's a certain character from Sonic CD that makes his return in Knuckles Choatix. I'd give it a 7/10.
If Shining Force CD came out, alot of Shining Force fans would be so ticked off because they had already bought SF 1&2.
I think your confused. Shining Force CD isn't a compilation of the first two Genesis Shining Force games, it's a compilation of the Shining Force Game Gear games, the first of which being the only SF Game Gear game to get a U.S. release.
