I think Epic Mickey has to be the game I'm most excited about for the Wii right now. The demo shown at E3 was great. The graphics have been improved a lot since the previous screenshots and the gameplay looks very good, especially the Steamboat Willie level. I loved when Kingdom Hearts 2 did their take on it and this new, 2D platforming take looks even more faithful to the original cartoon. I think the 3D and 2D levels are going to be a lot of fun. The whole concept of paint & erasing stuff looks really cool too.
I used to be very skeptical... to the point I was expecting the game to be crap despite great concept art and potential. It just didn't seem likely that this licensed game would come anywhere near the potential early details offered.
But the information and hands-on reports coming out during E3 this year have made me rethink that hasty judgment. Now I'm cautiously optimistic and want to learn more about the game. Even if it's not perfect, the game could end up being really good if they stay true to the original vision and work hard to tweak the controls and level design... plus I'm a sucker for unique platformers.
I think its going to be a lot of fun. The E3 Nintendo site had a hands-on with it today and it just looks great imo. The Steamboat Willie level is going to be fun, but the 3D platforming looks good too. I like the darker areas and the paint/thinner stuff. It looks like a really unique game. Can't wait to play it later this year.
Looks like it will be really fun. Interestingly, this is the only Wii game that IGN is nominating for "Best Overall Game" for E3 (unless the nominations aren't final), which has to say something of Epic Mickey's quality. I'm personally more excited for Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Zelda, but I haven't actually played any of them.....

I wished they would have gone with a 2D platformer akin to the Megadrive classics but this looks like it could be quite good.It would have been nice to see it closer to the original concept art but I guess it is Mickey Mouse .Probably try this when it drops in price.
Is really really looks EPIC!!!! 2D platformer 3D platformer, both in the same game, and with a puzzle thing, Warren Spector has says sooo great things about the game (oh well, he is his creator) but anyways, it realy looks amazig, great history, great graphics, great character, posibly great gameplay, and overall a really really good game.
This game looked really impressive at E3, so I'm excited to see more of it! It's also nice to see Oswald the Lucky Rabbit again! Count me in, if it is really good!
I probably won't have the money to purchase it day one, but it's certainly one of the games I'm most interested in this year. Really looking forward to the reviews.

I'm optimistic about this game. The 3D sections seem a bit bland but hopefully it's because they have something hidden up their sleeve that they aren't showing.
I'm hoping this is a resurgence in the great Disney games of old - Mega Drive classics like Castle of Illusion, World of Illusion, Aladdin and The Lion King were great.
I think these will be a 10/10 game, im almost sure of that!!!
I won't forget this post.
