Topic: What I want Nintendo to announce at E3.

1. That they bought both sega and capcom.
2. New 3D metroid from retro studios.
3. New 2D metroid from wayforward.
4. New star fox from platinum games.
5. New f-zero from sumo digital.
6. New megaman game (since they've acquired capcom).
7. Wii U version of kingdom hearts 3.
8. Release date for shin megami tensei X fire emblem, along with a trailer.
9. Update of their online infrastructure/real unified account system.
10. Massive amount of retro games released for the Wii U and 3DS virtual consoles.
11. Gamecube games on eshop.
12. Trailer for Zelda U.
13. Isaac and Sora as new characters in smash bros 4.
14. A full 3D kirby game for Wii U (seriously, why hasn't this been done yet?)
15. A 3D pokemon game for Wii U, like colosseum and XD.
16. New golden sun for 3DS.

If nintendo announced even half of this stuff, I would be ecstatic. But of course I don't expect any of this. Because it's nintendo. And we're used to being disappointed by them at this point.

Thank you for your unintentional example of why fans' expectations are impossible to meet and invalidating any point you might have had.

All I want is a release date and official name for X. And some Zelda U info. That's all I really care about. Or anything that isn't Mario related(preferribly 3rd party, though that likely won't happen.)

Its February and Nintendo fans are already embarrassing themselves. Absolutely hilarious.

Temper your expectations, my list would be:

• Zelda U trailer
• Animal Crossing U announcement
• Something random along the lines of NintendoLand/Wii Sports/Wii Fit
• Something along the lines of Metroid/Kid Icarus/Starfox

This could happen eventually, but I think it's too early to announce another Retro Studios game this year.

I think Nintendo could handle this just fine without wayforward.

Again, just have Nintendo make it. No need to get Platinum involved.

Maybe SEGA could help make it again? Or Next Level Games?

A new, good action Mega Man game for Wii U would be cool. I'd fine with the classic Mega Man 2D gameplay style with modern, state-of-the-art graphics.

That would be nice, but I'm not really expecting that until Nintendo's next generation of consoles.

This would be nice. I'm not how they would handle the lack of analog triggers. I guess they could just turn them into digital buttons (off or pressed all the way), but a lot of games made use of those analog triggers.

Maybe, just, lower your expectations. I mean, you went straight to "buy Capcom."

This is why nintendo is failing. Why do they smother us every year with nothing but mario and zelda? I'm sick of them. Why do they neglect their other IPs? I want something different. I'm not going to keep buying their systems and they keep giving us the same stuff with no variety, and we have these droughts that last for months in between.

They can't afford that, so fat chance.

Sure, we conveniently ignore what they give us because that doesn't match our completely unrealistic expectations, so we might as well be always disappointed by them.

Five years ago in 2009 Nintendo could have bought both sega and capcom for only 1 billion dollars.

Plus nintendo has already said that they're considering mergers and acquisitions. Sega or Capcom are the best bets.

Well firstly if you're only happy if Nintendo does these specific things you mentioned which include buying Capcom then you're always going to be disappointed. Also if you don't want more Zeldas why did you mention Zelda in your list? I mean... that's why they keep making Marios and Zeldas mate.

Lastly a point about them apparently not pushing enough variety of IPs. In the last year and over the next few months there has/will be Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, The Wonderful 101, Wii Sports, Dr Mario, WarioWare, Professor Layton, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Lugis Mansion, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Mario & Luigi, Mario Golf... so obviously they're just doing Mario and Zelda Right? Nothing else.

That's nice.

Nintendo is gonna take all of those ideas, and then do nothing with them.

My list:

-Zelda U
-Metroid U, preferably Prime style
-Probably Animal Crossing U or some kind of Mario Sports title
-Some kind of Pokemon spinoff (I don't think there's going to be a new main series game this year, probably a bunch of spinoffs like Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, etc.)
-F-Zero and/or Star Fox
-Name and release date for Smash Bros and X
-Update on Yarn Yoshi and SMT X FE
-Fully unified accounts
-More VC games
-A few more deals for third party games (like the one they made with SEGA)

If something like that is too unrealistic for them, they may as well stop trying because this is roughly the scale that their E3 would need to be to turn things around for the Wii U. They absolutely have to impress people with new games, this is their last chance to get people interested in Wii U or else it's doomed to mediocrity.

I'd say Starfox should be a top priority.

Make it better than Gears of War and Halo combined, and allow a big team fight with 60 players. Microsoft wouldn't be able to beat that; at least not easily, especially with a T rating and other possible features that Xbox One can't provide, regardless.

I think Nintendo needs to compete with Xbox One, but not necessarily PS4.

-a srs bussniss shootr mario with gun
-new fzero that you can punch pople in a car like gta 5
-new stairfox
-new metroid with crawl abilitie
-Buy both valv and micorsof so they make banjo-tree and portal 4 with nintendo charcter

Actually, I'd say E3 2011 is the best one Nintendo has ever had.

I want them to announce free DLC to the games they release in March and April.

there IS a full 3D Kirby game it's called Kirby Air Ride if you only played the race mode you skipped the 3D roaming that's the REAL main mode(A.K.A. City Tiral)
