Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce you our game: The arcade style shmup Teslapunk. We are small indie developer, based in Berlin and we are super excited to port our game fo the Wii U eShop. Teslapunk was originally released for mobile devices. The Wii U version will be completly reworked and will have lots of new cool features and content.
UPDATE:
Teslapunk is about to be submitted for release
Here is some screenshots showing our dynamic difficulty system. The higher you get your multiplier the harder gets the game in real time. But don't worry on novice mode we want the game to be as accessible as 16 bit console shmup classics, such as Axelay, Musha Aleste, etc.
@Sephariel:
I am sorry, but we can't promise Off TV play yet. This feature would be really cool and suit our game very well. However we are very small team, just 3 guys. So we need to be very careful about our ressources. Meaning the time we can spend on features. Our main priority is to finish and polish the main game. But we will definitely look into this, as I personally would also love the possibility of Off TV play.
Well i downloaded the game on Android to try it out and its such an awesome game that I will buy it day 1 no matter what. I have only one thing that i would love to have in the Wii U version and thats the sound of your ships weapons. And since im hooked on the game i must ask if theres a release date your aiming for or atleast month.
I'm curious of what the price will be? So if the price is right I'm interested.
We have not decided on final pricing, yet. Just out of cuiosity, since you mentioned it , what is the price range you would consider to be a right price?

I would honestly say the 5.99 to 6.99 price range. I've seen far too many devs over price their games and I'm not saying there isn't value there for both time and cost. If you price it right then more will buy upfront. If wrong and say you price it at 11.99 then people will say I'll wait for a sale.
There is a game I'm interested on the 3ds eshop but the dev so over priced it I don't even know if a sale will catch my interest. It priced at 14.99. If they sell 5000 copies when they could've sold say 50,000 copies at a better price point say 6.99 doesn't that make more sense. I have a ton of eshop games about 25 and counting and I ha e good experience In value!
Played this on my iPad. I'm in love. The game's even better than I thought! I found out I just can't play these type of games on tablets though. Hahaha, it kills my wrist. I need an actually controller.mYou got a guaranteed sale right here guys.
I also have to agree with Tech on the price point. I think $5.99-6.99 would be the sweet spot. $7.99 would be understandable if it helps make a profit.
I decided to dl this on my phone to check it out. I'm reminded why I hate gaming on my phone first off. From what I played I liked. Intense and addictive but can't stand having my finger in the way of half the screen at times. Stylus play seems like it would really work well here.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

On a related note, I played Momonga Pinball Adventures on my iPad and it's a quite good game, but it was so awkward to play it on a tablet. That game will make so much more sense regarding gameplay when it arrives on the Wii U.
I'm looking forward Teslapunk. It's a bit confusing that there is one upcoming eShop game called Teslagrad and now a quite different product called Teslapunk. Perhaps a rename of the Wii U game would make the game stand out more?

Yeah, I also noticed there is another Tesla game coming out for the eShop. But we are not intending to change the title. Teslapunk has already been released for other platforms. I guess, it's just a coincidence that both teams came up with a similar name. Also Teslagrad and Teslapunk are very different in gameplay and tone. So I am not too afraid of people confusing them.
Oh, and for the sound mix. I am not sure how exactly it is, beacause I am not working on the sound. But I assume it won't be as strict as what you described.
@Rukiafan:
About your request on Facebook, I sent a private message to the WiiWareWave facebook site but I didn't got a reply. I assume you just haven't noticed it.
