I seriously hope it isn't just another version of already existing character (Cat Mario, Megaman X [yesyes, it's different from megaman], Pink Peach, Young Link etc). Ryu from SF comes second....

I voted Splatoon's Inkling. I think 3rd party characters are going to be unlikely, unless Nintendo published the games (Bayonetta, Wonderful 101, Layton etc)

Ryu Hayabusa or Simon Belmont deserve it more than a lot of characters, even Nintendo ones. Especially Ryu which gave Nintendo one of the best trilogy gaming has ever seen

I think Captain Toad is a great choice (and we already have a Toad amiibo to use), but I wrote in Captain Rainbow. The presence of the trophy was a surprise; I'm hopeful a localised version will hit Wii VC, but I won't hold my breath.

Chibi Robo would also be cool.

I've been thinking this ever since they announced the game. Goemon would actually be a perfect addition to the roster. He's a fun character with many different moves/fighting equipment already established in his games. And Impact as a Final Smash? Music from the N64 games? Yes, please! I don't know if him being third party actually causes a problem? Probably, yes. Anyway, my vote is for Goemon.

Voting for clones and characters from already featured games (except for K. Rool) makes absolutely no sense to me.

I vote for the Marble from Marble Madness.

I am going to be happy with that as well. But I think adding a character from a different franchise like Lego or Prof. Layton, or even Snake, or Shovel Knight, would be nicer. Golden Sun is a fair request too.

I'd vote for more but the only way I was able to vote for three is that my parents gave me their proxy on the vote. Technically they wouldn't have voted but hey it works for me.

If I had two more votes though, Isaac and Shovel Knight.

I voted for Agahnim from ALTTP. Not sure why, just always really liked him as an enemy!

If not someone like Amaterasu, being a relatively obscure Capcom-owned character, I hope it's a lesser known or underrepresented Nintendo character with some substance to them. Like Midna, Dark Samus, or perhaps Vivian (or really anyone from Paper Mario TTYD). Ya know, someone less boring than 'another Link', 'another Super Mario character', or 'another soulless face'.
