I actually remember that comic. It was called Mario vs. Wario or something like that right?

I really like the Wario Land games, but...

Poor Wario. Look at those bags under his eyes and the burst capillaries in his nose. I've got a feeling he's a few benders away from a tragic obituary.

I like Wario more as a character (he's my favourite Mario character) but overall Mario's games are better. I do love Wario's games as well though and I agree with WaveBoy on the Warioware series being far better than the Mario Party series and while they're not as good as most of the Mario platformers, many of Wario's platformers are still some of the best in the genre.

Goodness, this is a tough decision. On the one hand, Wario Land 4 (and the other Wario Land games) are much better than the Super Mario Land titles, and might even be said to be better than most 2D Mario games in general. Certainly better than 'New Super Mario Bros whatever'.

And the WarioWare series is objectively better than any Mario Party one.

But then Wario doesn't have a good 3D platformer like Mario does. I mean, World is supposedly decent enough, but it can't even hope to compare to Super Mario 64 or the Galaxy series.

I guess it's pretty much a tie. Wario has better party games and equally good 2D platformers, Mario has better 3D ones.

Anyways Wario, love his games, both the "Land" games and WarioWare. And all he cares about is money and treasure, he's awesome.

But in all serious, Mario games are better, the the majority of both Wario and Mario's games are superb

I like Mario more, but Wario is still amazing. Wario Land 4 is in my top 5 GBA games.

I've been craving Wario Land games lately, I think it's because of eShop. It's also funny to see Goron50 look for a simple exit for over 10 minutes.[youtube:GZIwg6LQk1I]

I have a problem with these games. I just have to get EVERY SINGLE COIN! Greed is addictive, fun, but sometimes has no real purpose.

Agreed, Wario Land 4 was one of the few GBA games I had besides Pokemon. Love that game, even though I've never completed it...

Generally speaking, this is how I feel about their series:

Most Mario RPGs & non-"New" and "Land" platformers > Wario Land & WarioWare > Mario Tennis GBC & Mario Kart > Everything else Mario-centric

I find Wario to be a much more interesting character, though. Actually, he's my favorite character in the Mario-verse. I've said this before, but Wario is repugnant, and unrepentant about being repugnant. And I enjoy that. I like Mario too, but personality-wise, he's often sort of a bland everyman.

So, uh, yeah. I'm still not sure which side I'd vote on.
