That message happens to me when I have either bad internet connection, or a dirty cartridge. I suggest cleaning your cartridge and then seeing what happens.

@Apportal yeah its only doing it with 1 game "fortnite" i even bought brand new switch thinking it was that, still same problem tho

Sometimes the games code can be corrupted and give you that error message. Deleting and then redownloading the game will remedy this usually.

(CURRENTLY PLAYING)
ASPHALT 9: LEGENDS

I had this message pop up a lot while playing Lego City Undercover (for the switch of course). It came from a shady GameStop i picked up while going to work. Not the best decision...

Trying powering it off and turning back on for power cycle to insure it's loading correctly and check for system update and game updates before running.

Update guys switched it in today and all loaded up never really done anything but seems to be working OK now 3 weeks I've been emailing nintendo and epic so maybe something on there side thanks for your time and replies πŸ™‚

@Nizy80 doesn't hurt to check for loaded games updates and system updates as well as some games if they update will require system update to play as well.

It happened to me a lot on Asphalt 9. I think that it's related to cloud save errors if it happens on Fortnite Switch version, too.

@BlueOcean yeah its on fortnite its really annoying id almost gave up on the account was ready to build a new one then it worked for a day (yesterday) now same again epic and nintendo don't know the reason either whats really weird is it only does it with fortnite splatoon YouTube Mario all working fine ☹

@Nizy80 It happens a lot on Asphalt 9, using internal memory or SD card and redownloading the game don't solve anything, it must be related to the cloud save or unstable updates. I sent a message to Gameloft and they asked me for a screenshot but I didn't hear from them again. Asphalt 9 and Fortnite are both cloud save games with many updates. They work fine on other consoles but not so well on Switch.
