I totally missed the part where it said online multiplayer has been added. That's superb news. I remember being gutted when they revealed it would local co-op only on Wii U.
Watching the trailer made me want to hook up my Wii U and play it tonight but then I saw the new content. I'll be getting for Switch for sure. I loved 3D World but funnily enough, it wasn't until my 2nd playthrough it really clicked with me.
Online multiplayer is a pretty big deal (as I think the game's trash single player), makes it a lot more appealing. Major concerns about how well it will run though as Super Mario Maker 2's online is basically unplayable.
I love this game on Wii U, but it's hard for me to bite for that $60 price unless Bowser's Fury is substantial enough. Even then I can't see myself paying more than $40, though of course as a Wii U owner I know I'm in the minority on this issue.
"You feel it? Fawful is also feeling it! I am needing to feel it even more, though!" - The magnificent Fawful
Bowser's Fury looks neat. But this should be a standalone purchase on the eShop. I already have 3D World.
Agreed, I love 3D World but I'm not buying it again. I mean maybe one day if it goes down to like £20 but I don't think it will be worth paying full price just for the expansion.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Switch Online
@1UP_MARIO Yeah, I know it probably wouldn't make much business sense but I'd love it if Nintendo released the extra content from the Switch ports as DLC for the Wii U versions. Luckily for me Pikmin 3 is one of the Wii U games I never got round to so the Switch version will be new to me, but still.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Switch Online
@Dogorilla Doesn't even have to be on Wii U. If they were made available separately on the eShop on Switch, it would already be better than the current situation.
