Topic: Split screen for Fortnite?

Hello! I'm new to the forum.
Is it possible to play Fortnite split screen on the switch?
I have two joy-cons and created a 2nd Nintendo account, but I can't figure out how to start 2 player mode on Fortnite, if it's even possible.

No, two player is on all the other consoles (aside from pc lol)
Fortnite on switch is restricted to 1 player when local

There’s a good few split screen games, like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, and Stardew Valley.

The Borderlands games all have splitscreen co-op. So does Horizon Chase Turbo and Rocket League.

Rocket League has split screen two player. Can't recall if you can play splitscreen against online players, though.

** Mario+Rabbids - two player has to be unlocked via game progress, though. Although, it requires that the other players know how to play the game. -not casual friendly. But I liked it, when I played my friend.
Luigi's Mansion 3 has some multiplayer games, I beleive.

@WoomyNNYes I know on the PS4 you can play splitscreen online my son and I do it all the time. Not sure if that option is on the Switch version.

Also.I believe the Lego games are also split screen.

@Tasuki Just tried, Switch Rocket League does let me JOIN an online casual match with two player. I didn't have another person for the controller 2, so, I canceled it after hitting JOIN. Appears to work, though.

@WoomyNNYes That's good to know. I only played Rocket League on PS4 and I know sometimes things can be on one system but not another for whatever reason.
