I assume Xander sees this listed while browsing Walmart.com. Which, like Amazon, is a hub for third party sellers to advertise their available stock. Since this is a Europe-only physical release, it wouldn't be on Walmart shelves anywhere in Murica. Although I don't pretend to know if Walmart has a presence in Europe?

Whether that trashy game is being sold at Walmart or any other store, Im say ing that
Im surprised Nintendo would even be ok with a game like that in the first place
@Magician Nah it doesn't, they tried once in Germany but as they took their standard of workers rights to Germany it just belly flopped and quickly failed. Walmart does own/have an investment in Adsa which is a similar chain in the UK.
So is Walmart like a church or synagogue in the US and that's why the game shouldn't there? ;p
If Nintendo wasn't okay with a game like this we wouldn't have The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Outer Worlds, INSIDE, NieR Automata, Persona 5, 4 or 3, which are all rated 18 / M. Nintendo used to have heavy violence / sexual content / religious restrictions on games and while it was good for kids, they ain't the only ones who play video games.
@jump how dare you. I go to my local Walmart to pray my Great-Value prayers every day. To mock my Walmart religion is to mock me. I'd recommend going for a prayer once, just to try. I find they're usually most successful in the deli aisle.
Games I'm playing right now:
OoT N64
DK64 N64
Lego LotR Wii
Spirit Tracks DS
TotK Switch
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread at low low prices,
And forgive us our credit card splurges,
as we forgive those who who take up the aisle space as we push our trolley past them,
And lead us into temptation,
For that heavily discounted TV. Amen.

Big chain stores in the US sell mature rated games with violence/gun, but the US is more shy about nudity. So things leaning toward smutty aren't sold at big chain stores like, Walmart, Target, Kmart(rest in peace), Meijer, etc.
@WoomyNNYes that seems odd as Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton released a sex tape and they become worshipped in America for it. It’s such a weird country.
They're champions of "contemporary" (modern) feminism in Murica. Marketing their sexuality for maximum clout and financial gains. Depending on which side of the fence you land on, they're either idolized as "boss" women who are in full command of their outlook in life, or they're a leading example of how strong independent women are willing to wreck their legacy in favor of the all-mighty dollar. Either way, basically...not great role models, yet they are.

@Magician I agree, they are terrible role models. America should look to it's tradittional role models like Little Miss Child Beauty Pageant Winner for inspiration!
i was just browsing Walmart online for nintendo switch game and noticed an adult game called Perky Little Things.
What the heck is wrong with Nintendo for allowing a game like that in the first place?
It's called Adult games for Adult? What part does one forget? One doesn't have to look for such games or are they looking for it and then making excuses because they caught red handed? One has to ask. Nintendo is a Gaming company not a wholesome family games only company-they make living off selling and making games. You see Disney and it's subdivision they are also into Adult theme but no one is asking them to quit the Adult theme, Right? So let's forget this rubbish and focus on relevant things instead. Remember Japan has more better control on Adult themes then Sony censorship and NA Censorship which can't seems to censor themselves enough.
@Rambler I too have a watched a documentary series about American pageant culture, which featured the beloved American icon Honey Boo Boo Child.
It makes me wonder if Americans grew up with page 3 and arty movies on the telly they wouldn’t get outraged over nonsense and have these creepy children contests.

To be fair on this US vs Europe thing with Violence vs Sex content being tolerated I think just about every culture draws the line differently for different things. Eg I think Australia is far more willing to make jokes at the expense of figures of authority than the UK is. And also far more colourful in our language I'd guess. But also I think most people who come here would be kinda shocked at how prevalent gambling is.
But on the other side the OFLC, our movie/games/media classification board, is kinda infamous for being pretty heavy handed with the ban hammer. Pretty much always for drugs, violence and especially sexual violence. Which I think in at least two of those three cases is probably fair I think. But again, I'm saying that from within this culture
Australia, where you can probably call the Pope a c*** on prime time national TV in nothing but your birthday suit but where a game that has you take drugs to improve your abilities is a step to far
@skywake I can't comment on Australia as I've never been although I have met a few who moved to the UK and I have watched Neighbours!
The C word can be used casually in the UK (which I've only noticed as Americans through my missus' family and my company which is based in the US get shocked at) and we have a long tradition of mocking our leaders with stand up, tv and half the time I go to a punk/alt gig there is always the mandatory F the tories. There a few hoity toity types that won't but it's like that in every country although it here it's divide by class division which is more mental than other countries. I suppose the Queen has been off limits for most people, when The Sex Pistols got to number one in the charts with God Save The Queen they fudged it so there wasn't a number one that week or it ended up as number 2 in different charts but in general any other member of the Royals have been fair game or even hated.
Nudity is mostly fair game too, I was flicking the channes and saw this horrible British dating show where the people are naked and the lucky contestent picks the naked person they like the most plus Eurotrash was just this barmy show which was always showing flesh.
Sorta connected but still off topic, I do love watching parliament debates. It's almost like watching a rubbish comedian where our MPs try to do one line zingers to put down the opposite party but they have to do it respectably like "You good sir don't know what you're talking about as you're a fad which has crashed just like the crypto currency you support" type stuff.

To be clear I was most definitely referring to the Royals being a bit more off-limits in the UK as well as the class divide which is more of a thing. A few days ago I was watching one of those panel/comedy/quiz shows here where they had a special guest from the UK to ask some questions. He asked what song did Elton John play as tribute to the Queen which of course was answered immediately with "Another One Bites the Dust" and then they doubled down with "Killer Queen".
I got the feeling from the way the guy from the UK was reacting that you couldn't have gotten away with that in the UK on national TV. A similar sort of reaction you see when Americans come on and well, anything with any kind of colour happens
