Topic: Nintendo Switch Update 8.0.0

Since the update I have been having some issues with the A button on the right Joycon. In certain games it appears non responsive at first and when waking up the Switch it appears non responsive unless I press it a few more times. I updated the controllers and re-calibrated but the issue remains. The A button appears to work fine in every other situation and it appears to be very isolated these certain cases so far. Anyone else seen this?

I haven't in fact seen this but my friend has. He tried exactly what you did but in the end, he sent them back to Nintendo repairs. Luckily, he has a backup set.

I did some testing and noticed if I wait 1.5-2 seconds after waking up the Switch it works fine but obviously this is a problem in games. It is so specific it must be a bug in the update.

I’ve noticed a delay coming out of sleep after I take it off the dock. I think it is a bug. Or was that home brew thing with a paper clip related to the right joycon? Something like that?

The delay when it wakes I can deal with but in a game presents a problem.
