Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

General Directs are announced 1 day in advance so announcement tomorrow would mean airing on Wednesday. Which fits as with the exception of last September's awkward clash with State of Play, the February Direct is usually the same day of the week as the September Direct.

Well let's hope it's tomorrow. I don't have much to play on switch til Mario wonder.

If it does happen on Wednesday, that will be the fourth Direct to be on 13/09!

@Stamina_Wheel They did change the announcement gap to 1 day from 2018 onwards, here's the 2018-2022 September general Direct announcements:

So the whole airing on September 14th thing may very well be a time zone thing. For example 11pm UK time (the normal September Direct airing time) is the following day for a lot of the world. Do note that the 2018 Direct was delayed by a week due to an earthquake in Japan.

Nintendo should normalize doing a direct on the 3rd week of September since it usually fits in their schedule and twitter people can stop asking for a direct on 9/11 sooner

@Keman never said xcx was impossible to run on switch. It’s just not happening because it’ll be expensive to port. Monolith said this themselves.

X also has no barring on the main series, and most likely won’t get a sequel.

I know it's a joke, but clearly we aren't getting any paper mario announcements anytime soon. It would just be too much distraction from Mario RPG. Plus we are already pretty much full up on Mario right now.

I think basically every possibility has been predicted at this point, so we may as well buckle up and see what actually happens this week

I have bought Paper Mario TTYD GameCube last August 2023 LOL.
Let's see if TTYD will get Remastered on Switch.

@BobTheBunkerGuy thanks! I made them myself on an iPad, it’s surprisingly not hard to do, just requires some effort in replication to make it look legit.
Also, here’s a new TTYD mock-up with the hashtag added (reason it was originally excluded was because some Nintendo products have them and some don’t so I figured I’d apply that to the mockups)
