Kinda need to take a break from BotW (it is a masterpeice, but I kinda feel like it's a game that you don't really finish). I'm tied between two games, Mario Odyssey and Bayonetta 2. Loved the first Bayonetta, and I love how badass it made me feel playing it. The only downside for me was lack of a real reason to play through subsequent times, and the length. Mario, on the other hand, sounds like it's an addictive experience that doesn't get exhausting, and might be perfect to play when I'm pooped from working all day. What I don't know about it is the amount of replay value it offers, or how long it would take me to beat. What do you guys think? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
If you are into the collectathon / exploration aspect of 3D Marios, I'd go for Odyssey. It has a lot more content on offer than Bayonetta 2, ignoring replayability. Odyssey also differs more from previous Mario games than Bayonetta 2 differs from Bayonetta 1 and, in my opinion, is the overall better game.
Bayonetta 2 is still great though so you can't really go wrong.
This thread is probably gonna get closed as moderators want to push it into the wider recommendations thread. It is a matter of taste. Bayonetta if you want a more linear violent and exciting experience. Mario if you want a more exploration based, family friendly adventure that starts really easy, but gets brutally difficult in the post game.

Based on what you said, get Odyssey. It's longer, with more to do and something you can play to unwind. Bayonetta, while fantastic, is shorter and demands your undivided attention.
If you want a more relaxed game then Odyssey is the way to go. It's not a punishing platformer like some previous Mario games were, with more emphasis on just collecting the moons that you need to progress.
Bayonetta 2 is intense, more so than the first game. Its one of my favorite games (in fact the best game of the 8th gen imo) but its definitely not a relaxing experience.
It's hard to gauge how long theyd last. I found Bayo 2 very addictive, so I played it continually to completion over the course of a couple of days, whereas I played Odyssey in shorter bursts, maybe for about an hour at a time.
For what you seem to be looking for I would say Odyssey is your best bet even though I actually prefer Bayo 2.
